Seeing these Cyberpunk life-like videos is just mind blowing. Cyberpunk truly was always a hidden gem, just ruined by investors, public relations giving false promises and ruined by the fan base themself for begging for an early release. Then those were the same people who complained that it was released early. I think i was one of the few who luckily had a good enough PC at the time to run it max settings, all though not stable 60 FPS, i ran into very few bugs. Cyberpunk is one of my all time favourites. It’s up there with the Half-Life franchise for me
CP2077 was also ruined by CDPR releasing a broken game on day 1 which resulted in them getting pulled from the PS store and a class-action settlement. Its a great game now after many patches and Phantom Liberty, but creating massive hype and then releasing a full-price beta version of a game got them a lot of well-deserved criticism that can't be blamed on the fans.
Yeah, even with my crappy PC back at launch (literally barely able to maintain 30 FPS even on the lowest settings), I still be able to enjoy the game with minimum issues. It's mostly just visual bugs that always made me ROFL, although there was a bug after patch 1.2 that sorta locked me up. It's now one of my favorite games of all time. And the 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty just solidifies it even further. And somehow I'm not that bummed that it kinda differs from the 2018 demo. Probably my only complain is that they somehow removed the banger Frenchcore-esque soundtrack when fighting Royce.
I feel like the bugs thing was vastly overstated by fans... My pc was the minimum spec, barely hitting 50 fps on near minimum settings and I've only encountered 1 major bug after several playthroughs, including my initial launch game. It's funny, Baldur's Gate 3 is one of my favourite games ever, yet I've encounted 100 times more bugs in that game than I ever did with Cyberpunk, and yet the reception of them by fans are the complete opposite regarding bugs. And it's not because Larian were quick to fix them and CDPR weren't, because there were major bug patches for months. And I still see bugs over a year later that I reported back then.
hardly a hidden gem, four years of refining and its finally worth purchasing, whenever it goes on sale im buying it, this showcase gave me the confidence in the modding community i needed to buy it
This is the best and most realistic CP2077 video I've seen so far, and focusing on interesting people and things rather than just being a boring walking tour.
Hard to say. We've been saying photorealism is around the corner since Crysis photos were revealed in PC gaming magazines back in the day, where they compared photographs to in-engine recreations. Graphics improvements suffer greatly from diminishing returns. I'm confident that in 10 years, when you see other people saying photorealism is X years away, you'll see what I mean.
@@Flanker-NineZero well the difference is 15 years ago games werent even close to photorealism, not compared to what we have today. If this cyberpunk gameplay isn't considered close to photorealism i dont know what would be.

The human eye is so good in spotting tiny mistakes, it sometimes feels like a harsh contrast if you spot something not realistic, but actually it's so incredible close. Some things will remain difficult also in future, unless AI manages to fill in some gaps, it's the movement of people and also something like "fat" on overweight people, that is still static because it would require intense more calculation for little effect. That's how close we've come. Very impressive.
The big thing that I’ve never noticed anyone get right is vehicle physics are almost always janky as hell. Vehicles don’t just abruptly accelerate and decelerate and make jerky motions. People slowly speed up, slow down in stages, etc. it’s one of the few things that always breaks realism immersion.
@@zacharystone6782 Kinda funny how people made an entire machine(engine) that could burn fuel to generate torque, and now we learn how to fake it in a game engine to mimic the real-world counterpart.
@@zacharystone6782sadly a limit with gaming rather than graphics. a game where cars handle realistically and physics is true to life is just inherently less fun than a game that exaggerates those aspects, because it makes everything so much more difficult to do.
One of the most impressive aspects I noticed while playing Cyberpunk 2077 is the incredibly high density of NPCs. It's rare to see NPCs doing the same activity, and they're scattered throughout the world, making it feel vibrant and alive, rather than empty world like almost every other game.
The hilarious thing is that people used to complain that CP2077 is "lifeless" because they kept comparing it to RDR2 which has far fewer NPCs and each are customized. Night City can have upward to hundreds of NPCs walking the streets at any time, and these people seem to expect that each NPC has a 200 page background story and a 5 hours sidequest attached to them. It's absurd. But yea, Night City is the most realistic feeling city ever made in a game. It's vibrant, filled with lots of NPCs (even if they are procedurally generated) and it has a lot details in it. The sheer size makes it feel like a real city where you know you are entering a CBD, a suburb, a residential area, an entertainment area, industrial zone, rich area, poor area, a bad neighborhood, etc., and there are enough NPCs that you feel like you are just seeing the tip of iceberg of a city. I mean its optimization is still bad, its just got DLSS and frame gen now, which are both bad effects that are about hiding the poor performance. Neither should ever be needed. Tell me how the game runs with both turned off, like any well optimised game. It's performance has maybe improved by 20% since release, which since it released as a maybe 6/10 looking game was pathetically poor at release and is still bad now. I mean shit when the guy has any amount of motion at all in the above video, its unplayably blurry and clearly sub 60fps. Shit gives me a headache to watch.
@@fearedjames while you make some good points the part about DLSS and frame gen never being needed is wrong. While you are right that you probably shouldn't have to rely on it so your game runs fine those are still great options for people with system that don't quite meet the requirements to still have it be playable.
@@Z38_US My issue is that games are released with the idea that they dont need to be optimised since you can just use DLSS or frame gen. This means even top end systems need them for max settings in games. It's really really bad for everyone.

An then uses more abuse an manipulation if you don't play the game 🤣
This is a low, but reasonable, frame-rate. Way more than CP2077 realism demos usually have. I bought a 4090 last year. I just purchased a new mobo, ram, and a 7950X3D to be delivered tomorrow. I'm anxiously researching my CP2077 mods!
I had a flash of irritation because I immediately thought "Ugh, click bait, this is just real life, some kind of cosplay thing" then I realized... THEN I REALIZED! Holy shit this is impressive.
Not only did you not flood the entire place, but you also made sure the game's aesthetic didn't get trashed in favor of raytracing. Thank you. This looks beautiful. That said - I'd love to see a full gameplay with the game looking like this!
I say the same thing about every new-gen game: that it looks so realistic, it looks practically life-like. I said this about Crysis, Skyrim, Gran Turismo 5, Assassin's Creed, Killzone 2, even the original Tomb Raider games way back on the PS1. Then, a studio makes a new game that pushes the boundaries farther than I could have ever imagined. But this footage and that of the Unreal Engine 5 Matrix game really do make me wonder if graphics can get any better.
I think it should stop at being the same as reality. What would a graphic better than reality look like? For me, Half Life 2 up to Crysis 1 was already acceptable.
I'm so angry that CDPR is leaving this engine behind. LOOK AT THIS!! 😍You do NOT need more than this in a video game.. only better hardware. 😂 Amazing video, thank you for sharing! ❤
thank God they´re changing the REDEngine for Unreal Engine 5, because most of the game problems of the game were game engine-relative. With UE5 you have lots of software attached like: Quixel Megascans, MetaHuman, Chaos Physics "for 5% of worldwide gross revenue"

While you are right that you probably shouldn't have to rely on it so your game runs fine those are still great options for people with system that don't quite meet the requirements to still have it be playable.
just straight up ass 🔥🔥
@@Z38_US My issue is that games are released with the idea that they dont need to be optimised since you can just use DLSS or frame gen. This means even top end systems need them for max settings in games. It's really really bad for everyone.
Its time to bring VR to the next level with this amount of passion
This makes me excited for the future possibilities of things like NVENC!
I'm happy to be around long enough to see games start, develop, cause us mental pain and anguish, and then.. this beautiful example of what's to come. Thanks for showcasing it. :)
Its such a shame that they canceled Cyberpunk Online. This world _needs_ to be lived in.
I think that's a good idea. They should be focusing on single player, not jump on the bandwagon as everyone else to push for another online game.
@@gelinrefira They didn't need to jump on any bandwagon, but that world was perfect for an online game.
@@gelinrefira i agree and disagree would be so fun to be able to have co op or with friends without any pvp
@@MutinyEvo Well the game is now finally good, took it years to get to this point so developing and online alongside trying to just make the basegame good wouldn't exactly be a good idea.
They saw the issue they had and instead of doubling down they decided to scrap a part to fix the main part instead and for that they get my respect even if that means we missed out on online.

I Don't have a 4090RTX but it is great to see here what it can look like and it is really fantastic that the dev's and and the modding community made this piece of Art for us Gamer's and it runs also on a lower card with all the bells ans whistles in 1440p at least on my 4070RTX !
Great Video keep up the good work I leave a like and sub 👍
Crazy how a RTX4070 is being called a lower card
in VR this is going to fry brains out there
Your GPU will frie befor your brain ...
That's the effect earth definitely had on me. I've been avoiding it since I came here cause it's been so fake an repetive. So yep. Wait till they try to introduce drugs an memory erasure like what happens when the living come to earth. An you think it's real cause you don't remember anything before it, it really is hostile, feels like you are being hunted, beaten to death an ressurceted, etc. It fries you the second you start hearing the inkeeper repeating the same sence the 5th time as if it's a different species trying to convince you it's not. An then uses more abuse an manipulation if you don't play the game 🤣
Wow!!! This is insane!! Would be great to see some heavy fighting in such Lighting. Amazing.
Most IRL car mods stand out and dont fit into the world of the game, but that BMW M1 fits in perfectly
This is a low, but reasonable, frame-rate. Way more than CP2077 realism demos usually have.
I bought a 4090 last year. I just purchased a new mobo, ram, and a 7950X3D to be delivered tomorrow. I'm anxiously researching my CP2077 mods!
You're done for buddy, say goodbye to your friends and family, you're not gonna leave your desk :p
@@sidhu704 The 4090 already cost me my friends. Family's on the chopping block now!
Idk if a 4090 could even do something like this at a stable framerate. This shit gonna take an H100 or something to be smooth.
@@InexcyeSolms-handle-is-taken You got your priorities right 👍
low frame rate? hahaha, gtfo
MOM I WANT 4090
me too
@@SwurvGamingif you don’t have a 4090 how did you make this video?
@@thenintendoninjasarecoming you dont need a 4090 for this
what other gpu could you use
I have a 4080. Wish I had a 90 for the vram and extra performance. Definitely gonna try getting a 5090 next time.
As the video played I could smell burning, it was my GPU just hearing about this...
Can't be played, but definitely gorgeous eye candy. Nice work.
I'm a minute and a half in, this video is giving me chills 😱
The music is fire 😍
I had a flash of irritation because I immediately thought "Ugh, click bait, this is just real life, some kind of cosplay thing" then I realized... THEN I REALIZED! Holy shit this is impressive.
What a privilege, to be able to visit a thousand different worlds. Cyberpunk is among the most immersive of all.
The moment we can figure out sensory feedback, we will lose at least a third of our population to video games.
This looks Crazy good nothing else comes close to this Graphics HOLY SHIT !!! LIKE!!
Feeling really existential with how good this looks
0:28 NCPD lookin MEAN.
ED209 belike, boys band😂🎉
Cyberpunk is still one of, if not the most impressive looking games today.
Not only did you not flood the entire place, but you also made sure the game's aesthetic didn't get trashed in favor of raytracing. Thank you. This looks beautiful.
That said - I'd love to see a full gameplay with the game looking like this!
At first, I thought someone had cleverly composited some Cyberpunk assets on top of an actual video recording. Amazing,
Imagine showing this to someone from the 80s and telling this is a documentary of 2030
Shut up bot
Post in HDR
The PC modding community is truly a godsend.
I thought it was a film in the beginning! Truly stunning graphics.
I hope this is our future , I want to live for ever
5:05 we know what happened
the lighting is insane, but the modelling and materials need more work in order to make it look photorealistic
my PC exploded from the thumbnail im taking you to court
The best looking 3D world ever. It's breathtaking
this is a piece of art. well crafted
This is nuts, is there a go to recommended guide for setting all this stuff up? Never modded CP77 before 😶🌫
I have a guide on the channel. Look for the list of mods in description
The people look good but the cars and motorcycles look like the real deal
The people look like every NPC since 2015
Cyberpunk is already ahead of the world, I wonder how will cyberpunk be like in 2077 itself 🔥🔥
Wow, this looks phenomenal!
Wow, the shots of the bikes look awesome. Like a genuine eBay ad.
They easily can, there's still much room for improvement
I think it should stop at being the same as reality. What would a graphic better than reality look like?
For me, Half Life 2 up to Crysis 1 was already acceptable.
Absolutely diabolical. The future is now. Please gaming devs and the hardware industry -- make this possible for the average plebeian.
I'm so angry that CDPR is leaving this engine behind. LOOK AT THIS!! 😍You do NOT need more than this in a video game.. only better hardware. 😂
Amazing video, thank you for sharing! ❤
exactly... it looks much better than UE5... it looks real. Unlike Unreal... that looks UNREAL...
thank God they´re changing the REDEngine for Unreal Engine 5, because most of the game problems of the game were game engine-relative. With UE5 you have lots of software attached like: Quixel Megascans, MetaHuman, Chaos Physics "for 5% of worldwide gross revenue"
It'll be ue6 by the time the next cyberpunk releases. Should look amazing still
@@SwurvGaming it'll perform worse if they use nanite and ue games have some traversal stutter issues 😭😭nanite has been such a con for what it's supposed to fix there's a whole dev post on ue forums explaining why
I feel you on that but Their the pros so I can only imagine what it'll look like on their next one
this somehow makes games seem so much farther from reality than i'd previously considered
Stunning, can't believe sometimes how far we've come
So that's graphics close to being as good as they'll get, now we serious need development on characters and their animations, as they're the only thing giving it away
00:11 heeyy .. its cone-heads.. that comedy/movie with Dan Aykroyd.. hahahaha ..

Man when I got a 20 series to play first gen path traced games I thought it looked good and now I'm excited for the 50 series because it's time to upgrade and I want to play cyberpunk like this. This is fucking cool! Thanks for the vid
goes to show that the music is so damn good. hands down the best videogame score I've ever heard. and also this game is still one of the best looking games even without mods. but whichever mods you're using are better than the other videos like this that i've seen, with all the field of view shit. glad this doesnt have that
yeah, this and dying light are my favorite ost
@@SwurvGaming whats the music you used in this video?
Every time theres a cut in the video it means his PC Crashed.

Cyberpunk the most realistic game I’ve ever seen congrats
The shots with the bikes made it look basically exactly like real life. Imagine what games will be like in 10-15 years.
looks crazy realistic, like next level ❤😊 thx
This is the power of Path Tracing people. Realistic Light Refraction and Bouncing is what achieves this. Give this another couple years and we genuinely won't be able to distinguish video games from reality.
this is by far the best game mod i have ever seen. 10/10 - it beats original games arts. something actually close to extremely "realistic" type of visual fidelity, not all those WET mods out there stupidily advertised as "realism"
Neat! Everyone has eyeballs with the rest of the face around them now!
I just watched this to the end and was blown away. I then realised I had the resolution set to 720p so I re-watched it in 4k and OMG is all I can say.
For the first 10 seconds I 100% thought it was an actual video
Holy shit!
It still baffles me that this is real-time. Seeing those cars on the street one could make the error to think they are real. It is amazing what is possible these days.
What would my 14 year old self say watching this? Back then I imagined the day games look as good as the Final Fantasy VII intro cinematic. Much happend since then and now every mobile could play a better looking version of that intro. Amazing.
The blurred lines between reality and The Matrix.
Это настолько круто и офигенно! Это будущее которое не загарами!
Crazy how the lighting is SO GOOD but the weird character design still leave people feeling flat and lifeless.
Absolutely stunning.
