In my playthough I let Zane do the talking, when he messaged me, the messages were cordial and stuff like "Ahh V thanks for saving my life and stuff and here have a discount". Would've been nice if the dialogue was a little different for interrupting him, sarcastically thanking him and calling his offer shit.
You know, I'm hoping the second cyberpunk is going to be better, because there's too many storylines that we didn't get. And it's understandable when it comes to making the engine better and adding so much of the story, but there's so much potential here.
Rory was the woman in the trailer few years ago. Imo cyberpsychosis is treatable but the government wont tell that to the public because then they'd try to get help from their own psychosis problems. We should have a dlc with a feature for everyone where you can join gangs, and maxtac or NCPD, but if you kill them you get kicked out and become more hostile toward you. And the feature is for everyone, with dlc or not
This should've led to a Side Biz where you get some missions from Melissa Rory and unravel the truth that happened all those years ago. Maybe even have a situation where she gets over-stimulated and her cyberpsychosis returns and then you either have to put her down or detain her yet again.
With how kited out V was on my save file (being able to infinitely kill the new maxtac waves on hardest difficulty) they would never need to hire again lol.
No one beats maxtac. They're too efficient canon wise. They're trained to take out cyberpsychos who are augmented to hell with all kinds of crazy cyberware and have crazy weaponry that shreds them like mozzarella. V can beat them as npc characters in this game, but lore wise he/she wouldn't be able to stand against them.
@@zamaskowany12 there's some precedent in somebody beating Smasher 1v1 before with Morgan Blackhand. Old MB ain't even that chromed to begin with, but he's a very talented and experienced solo who literally wrote the book on it and makes his implants both practical and reliable... compared to Adam Smasher at least, Morgan is still pretty chromed by common people's standards. V was also an experience merc by the time he/she faces Smasher, can be chromed to the gills or be a heavy netrunner (backed by Blackwall AI in Alt, implied to be the reason Smasher's ICE are not that effective and he can be quickhacked) and in at least 2 of the possible endings technically didn't fight him alone. Also makes for a satisfying narrative climax to take down Smasher (gameplay-wise is another story). I do wonder how MaxTac would have handled Smasher if they ever came to blows though, might have made for a fun scenario.
@@maxi1ification They wouldn't have been able to. Before V smasher was the apex predator. If you watch the edgerunner's anime David demolishes MaxTac and then Smasher demolishes David

Just like with the 6th Street target practice mission, V's straight up offered a position and only able to answer "no" or "no, but rude." I'd be willing to bet that the CyberPsycho contracts you get from Regina were initially part of a MaxTac Job questline but shunted over to Regina once they figured they wouldn't have time to include quests for joinable factions like gangs, MaxTac, or the NCPD.
This Liberty DLC they announced, i really hope they have more of Melissa in it, being a cop for the good ol NUSA. Honestly, i would have said yes if it gave me a few more quests to do some work for the maxtac bois.

I don't think that would be very "punk" of them to have a cop that's morally good lol. Ya know, ACAB.
@@taintedmyth0s636 it could be like Miami vice.. actually I guess not
@@taintedmyth0s636 But there are good cops in the game. River. Those guys who ask about Barry. The one you have to kill or make disappear for Regina. Probably bunch more I forgot about.
wow just when I thought this game couldn't get more unrealistic
Shame we never gonna have MaxTac expansion in Cyberpunk 2077, they deserve more missions, more lore.
Wouldnt be surprised if you play as a Max Tac on the sequel
@@edco2012 Well, that was the original draft of the game. Wouldn't rule it out, but wouldn't get my hopes up either.
@@ChadVulpes well atlest they got a *FAT BOSS LEVEL BUFF*
@@mrnohax5436 I think MaxTac is awesome now.
Normal people during dialogue:
This guy: Slide to left, slide to the right, crisscross, crisscross, now cha-cha yall.
You gotta stand still in these dialogue bits, or at least switch to walk. As neat as this was
Ikr, he just looking and walking around for no reason
Johnny Silverhand’s body a cop?
Silverhand: Not on my watch!!!! Not on my watch!!!!
Yknow, it would've been cool to hear from her at the end of the game with all those voice messages, since joining MaxTac sounds fucking nice for a story.
Tech is the first attribute I max because of the cradling bonuses, being able to make tons of Eddie's and some good threads
What should I do on my first playthrough?
I don't know why but she attracts me big time. Or maybe it's my broken psyche.
That dialogue interrupt was timed perfeclty.
"I said SIT."
yes ma'am
I liked her better without all the clothes.
I love that the psycho's corpses leg is casually draped over zane's
In my playthough I let Zane do the talking, when he messaged me, the messages were cordial and stuff like "Ahh V thanks for saving my life and stuff and here have a discount". Would've been nice if the dialogue was a little different for interrupting him, sarcastically thanking him and calling his offer shit.
What the hell did you to do Johnny? Hes got the same goofy haircut the elves got in Rings of Power.
LOL. I just set the the alternate outfit from cdpr.
You know, I'm hoping the second cyberpunk is going to be better, because there's too many storylines that we didn't get. And it's understandable when it comes to making the engine better and adding so much of the story, but there's so much potential here.
Ngl I love her Mantis blades at first I thought they were very basic, but then I was looking more into them and they’re actually pretty detailed
Rory was the woman in the trailer few years ago. Imo cyberpsychosis is treatable but the government wont tell that to the public because then they'd try to get help from their own psychosis problems. I assume the treatment is very very VERY expensive, probably why they all say "when they go psycho they are dead/lost".
If you get MaxTac called on you she will appear and come at you with those Blades. If you can scan her while she's charging it says Melissa Rory. Pretty neat. She took my Bing shotgun to the chest though..............
OH MY GOD STAND STILL FOR ONE FUCKING SECOND
Bro folded like that is the reason I love this game
it would be cool as part of a DLC to add new beginning life choices.
she should have gave him the digits so he could have smashed later... lol😆
Loved when back before cyberpunk flopped we all thought it was really a "be anything game". Man I wish It still was because I'd love to be a MaxTac or a Trauma team merc
Johnny’s year 2077 outfit lowkey goes hard
“I can fix her”
2:35 I feel like the model of mellisa's mantis blades is a reference to the trailer which was released in 2013
Because it is her lmao
ive only just now noticed the mission's title is the same as the song from the original teaser. still gives me chills.
Of all the side quests I saw have possible Orion outcomes I really hope V in Maxtac is possible
I remember the first trailer for cyberpunk 2077 and I think this is the same same chick with the Mantis blades
I remember that mission. Managed to bring the psycho to 10% hp and it wouldn't go down further. Guess it's scripted to not allow you to finish him off yourself.
We should have a dlc with a feature for everyone where you can join gangs, and maxtac or NCPD, but if you kill them you get kicked out and become more hostile toward you. And the feature is for everyone, with dlc or not
You just can’t sit still for 2 seconds
Zane really loves his job.
I know she is psychotic but I really wanted to have a romance option for her even before knowing about that near decade old trailer.
A Meredith romance option.
That'd be fun, especially since she's a cyberpsycho, might even be willing to go on a suicide run with you through Arasaka.
As somebody who’s went through psychosis I 100% relate
She should be a romance option. Definitely 10/10 waifu material.
Not even sure if she's capable of that at this point.
lmao is there even a characer in this game that doesn't have people thirsting over them?
@@ChadVulpes no
She's cute. Lol. Even for a psycho.
@@ChadVulpes Yeah its Claire the bartender , fat ass dolphin. It gets better and better after you learned she was actually a "he" before.
Really wish they’d do a DLC for Trauma Team, or even as the woman in the very original Cyberpunk trailer.
She talking like V cant just wipe them out as well
No one beats maxtac.
@@LandofBrickForests Lorewise he shouldn't be able to kill Smasher either and here we are
@@zamaskowany12 there's some precedent in somebody beating Smasher 1v1 before with Morgan Blackhand.
@@zamaskowany12 That's correct. But since he's a boss in the game, he had to be beatable.
@@maxi1ification They wouldn't have been able to. Before V smasher was the apex predator. If you watch the edgerunner's anime David demolishes MaxTac and then Smasher demolishes David
Really thought she’d be the main protagonist after the first teaser for this game
This is beautifully crafted dialogue, the exact moment where you realize “Oh shit, she’s a cyber psycho” is brilliant
I like how Johnny sits just above the dead carcass to make it appear like he's avoiding it.
Shit i'm scaroused now
100% this was originally intended as a way to join MaxTac/NCPD before they had to cut content/crunch before release. Just like with the 6th Street target practice mission, V's straight up offered a position and only able to answer "no" or "no, but rude."
I'd be willing to bet that the CyberPsycho contracts you get from Regina were initially part of a MaxTac Job questline but shunted over to Regina once they figured they wouldn't have time to include quests for joinable factions like gangs, MaxTac, or the NCPD.
I took her mantis blades! The police don’t play , I had to dash before maxtac got there😭
This Liberty DLC they announced, i really hope they have more of Melissa in it, being a cop for the good ol NUSA. Honestly, i would have said yes if it gave me a few more quests to do some work for the maxtac bois.
honestly this game is already fking ruined... but we have cyberpunk 2078 apparently... a sequel in the works... and we can only hope that is MUCH better...
@@arcanumelite4853 Doubt they're working on it. At per-production level at best right. They *had to* announce something for their investors, so Project Orion is probably not much more than an idea at the moment.
@@arcanumelite4853 Aged like fine milk
@@arshiaaghaei No, they're still correct. While I do like 2077, I hate how V is never truly your character. They have a defined voice and personality. Just imagine a Cyberpunk game in the vain as New Vegas where the main character is a player shaped hole and you could literally become anyone and join any gang.
@@theobell2002 You still have the choice to join the villains in both the basegame and the DLC. Also the silent protagonist trope is kinda aged now.
I like how the psycho is just lifeless right next to them
Max Tac V would actually be kinda sick to play as, and the questlines, bruh.
They did say some MaxTac things are coming with the next patch, before the xpac.
Maybe this questline continues? We get to join MaxTac for a questline? Would be dope af
I recall something about this being a placeholder/starter quest for maxtac content when they add more. Memory is a bit fuzzy but I think one of the devs brought it up on stream sometime just after launch.
@@cryovictum Sounds really plausible, especially since they updated it now on the last patch
Hope so, that the next patch is not just an inproved wanted system, don't like playing psycho in games going around killing people outside quests
Melissa Rory romance questline confirmed. Bloodthirsty Psycho GF > Angry Caring GF any day.
@@AParticularlyConcernedCitizen do have a link/source for where you heard that by chance? cause thats exciting af lol
TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF THE BUTTONS
She gived a smile when V called her babe 3:40
V called her babe and she didnt even get mad .... damn V rizzing
Man, I need to play this game again soon, or maybe after the 1st DLC's release
"But you´re with the good guys now, right?" "Don´t change the subject" I love the writing.
it would be awesome if you could have actually joined max tac and become a maxtac enforcer cutting down cyberpsychos. they're really weak in the game (all things considered) but mastic is comprised of the best of the best from every type of field. There not just regular cops in maxed out equipment and cyberware but their some of the best netrunners, fighters, snipers, gunners, technicians, and pilots the npcd could ever get a hold of. the trade off is that many of people with this level expertise tend to have one or two screws loose.
"Higurashi 20-13"
Subtle as a bulldozer.
I like that they basically only tease you with joining gangs or the police. Like they want to remind you it's not a real RPG like the table top.
Not a single CDPR RPG has been the way you described. You set yourself up for disappointment.
@@ChadVulpesThose other games were based on books with a set story and cyberpunk is a TRPG they are very different from each other. Also they said life paths would matter
@@HumanB312 None of this changes the fact that CDPR never made this kind of game, and there was no reason to believe that they would. Every company pushes all kinds of bullshit to get you to buy their product.
Man If i lived in the cyberpunk universe id do anything to get with that Maxtac lieutenant. Probably get myself into her medical care
HEY! when a Maxtac enforcer tells you to sit down, YOU SIT DOWN. 😆
Hopefully DLC gives at least 1 additional romance option for males instead of just Panam.
I got here late in the game with a Doom Slayer build so i killed the cyberpsycho before they got here, so when the dialogue options of "you didnt have to kill him" and "thanks" i was like oh maybe im too strong
Woah shes the trailer
I would love to have a max tac spin off game or set of missions in orion. It would be so cool.
Johnny just like he is. Damm i love Johnny😊
MAXTAC: Oh shit where is my iPad
omg half the dialogue options result in the answer in the same tone of voice even!
2:00 dude this part had me dying!
