Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Shield Bash Champion build (no detonations/afflictions)
This Champion/Warrior build scales Defense and adds half of it to the shield damage via the Champion passive "The Best Defense". This results in a huge amount of base damage that is getting scaled with weapon damage, shield damage, heavy attack damage, rage (via unique items), final damage, damage vs. enemies with low health and crit damage.
The build has 300 rage which can be activated via the rune. With 300 rage the Woodsong Cleaver gives 150% Barrier and Armor damage and the Field-Commander's Helm gives 150% general damage. Teardown for the White Dwarf C build as this was requested by a viewer. The ship uses a lot of "da Gama 1000 Cargo Hold" modules as they have the best cargo per mass ratio. I wanted to test different combinations of weapon feats and check how dual pistols compare to automatic rifles. It seems a Fullpulse automatic rifle with Burst Module is still the best gun, but dual pistols with Burst Module in combination with Momentum or Autotrigger can be pretty close.

It's a glitch built hack job. Do this with out the stupid glitching.
Since patch 1.14.70 glitching/merging is an official feature of the game - you can toggle it on/off in the game settings. Mine is similar. 4 x1x3. It has a cockpit, 2x1 hab, reactor, grav drive, landing bay, and rear engines. It has two additional side mounted engines. A couple of smuggler cargo holds are attached to the back and sides. That's it. With the best type B reactor it has great shields and guns. The engines are type A for max speed, Now, if only the game would let me do a little more with it.

Do you think this combo is worth giving up COX-2? I feel like it is, since truly infinite ram can offset the loss of crit damage. Plus the knockout combo doesn’t care about crits
Yes with the knockout combo you don't need crits, also COX-2 is counter productive as it reduces your RAM and probably takes too much cyberware capacity to fit it in. This playstyle is nice for 95% of the game, but you might have to adapt for scripted boss fights where you can't use the knockout combo. But you can try to find a combo that can support both playstyles. If you want to go for damage with crits then stacking health/healing and using Overclock mode might be better.

@@NOLA_ftw Nice. If you use the knockout combo as your main thing it's probably worth to change your quickhack order (less scrolling). I just loaded up my old save file and recorded my character stats. Cool little ship... I wished you showed how you merged the parts ... seeing how they nerfed the Merging no flip type of consolidation technique.
Three weeks ago I created a video how glitching works without flip and variant glitches, maybe check this if you want to replicate it now. With the next patch (probably coming out next week with the dlc release), the flip and variant glitches will be back as a feature that can be enabled in the game settings. It's already getting tested in the beta patch on Steam. I wait until this change is live to create a detailed build video for this ship as with flip and variant glitches this is easier to build.

I haven't played this shitty game since release, never got far, gave up after reaching Neon, but I did enjoy the ship building most of all when I did play and I have to say this ship looks beautiful, good job, I love the design it's exactly what I would have hoped to create eventually 👌
You know what would be good to mod? If they add in more complex HABs that are new shapes, like L shaped habs, H shaped, or such that is a single unit and not multiple. This way the connection of doors and ladders will vastly differ, even better is if it has a top and bottom variant where a open balcony exists for you to leap off for shortcuts.

Yes this was created after update 1.13.61. As you can see in the beginning flip and variant glitches no longer work, also the duplicate glitch no longer works like before and now requires selecting the whole ship to make the duplicted parts merge. Also this is on PC and I don't know if you can do the same on console and/or with a controller.

Cool little ship. Bravo 👏 I’ve used Steve’s small Star Wars mod ships. They weight next to nothing and are super fast. Only con: not much of a cockpit 😂

Yes, just with a small cooldown in between. The Quantum tuner lets you elimate the cooldown for a limited time.
@@crazy-tommyno there's no cooldown if you time RAM Reallocator's refill. You can get refill after refill in one scan and if timed right you won't trigger it's cooldown when you release scan. You can do hack a while camp in one go and come out with near if not max RAM and RAM Reallocator ready to go.

Why do people consider glitched builds like this valid? This is exploiting a bug in the build system and therefore cheating. I mean, I guess it really doesn't matter, as it's a single-player game, but at least build ships that make sense...
I agree to some degree. I also don't like ships that need fast travel to be useable like I mentioned in the video description. I just did this one for the challenge. In general using glitches lets you build smaller or more aesthetically diverse ships. Glitching might allow you to save on some parts like adding multiple weapons/equipment to the same attachment slot, which could be mild "cheating". All other limitations like for example jump range, mobility or fuel cost still apply to glitched builds. Personally I consider glitching less as "cheating" than using mods. Not sure if you checked out the popular ship building mods offered in the game yet - most of these add inbalanced ship parts with inflated stats and almost no mass. So if you don't like "cheating" stay away from mods or be really careful what mods you want to use.

Sorry, I initially wanted to show it but forgot to get up from the pilot seat when recording the video. Basically only the cockpit is accessible and you can't enter the backpart with all the glitched components as the door is blocked by the porthole. Next to the pilot seat I added a sleeping bag and a research station and as the door isn't accessible any way I placed a crafting station at the backwall of the cockpit. If you add the mod VikingTek- Compact Reactor and Grav Drives mod then all the reactors and grav drives will be the same shape and size as the Odin 3050-C Shield Generator. You will be able to fill in all the reactor and grav drive spots with habs then be able to place the reactors and grav drives on top of your ships or inside of things and they will not cip into your habs.
