I find it interesting I’m finding this tonight in light of some things God spoke to me years ago. Never heard of this church or him until about a week ago.
Jesus had no place to lay his head and when he needed earthly provisions or money GOD always provided. Walk in faith and trust in GOD. Set your eyes on heaven this place is not our home.
Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ "alone" for salvation.
I wonder if Pastor Dave would approve what's happened to Times Square Church? The light show spectacle on stage and the walls and frequent celebrity singers which don't come by for free. The current minister says he/they are not like other churches. Newsflash: you've become like the other churches spending thousands of dollars earned by hard working men and women to build light shows on stage and more focused on entertaining in the hopes to attract people than allowing the Word of God to draw men and women to Him. Today's messages are feel good, self help. Dave Wilkerson spoke the Word with no apology and filled that theatre to overflowing every service. Dave did not need flash to attract.
