Were is this boldness at now? We have lost the boldness that the Holy Spirit has given us and we dont preach like this anymore. It hurts my heart and makes me sad. We need this now more than ever in this generation.

Too many people who are people pleasers, afraid of losing our standing among men at the expense of our relationship with God. Pastors and preachers tickling ears and preaching a watered down Gospel and isn't really the Gospel at all. There are still God-fearing, bold men out there who speak the pure truth, but I agree they're a rarity now.
My husband is a pastor & preaches like David Wilkerson. We only have 3 in our congregation. No one wants to here these messages on holiness. Eventally they get offended & leave. We still march on with Jesus!
This is the time when you go to church and hunger for this kind of preaching. Where we are told to repent instead of telling me that l need more money, a car and a good life. I am glad l found Brother Davids sermons. Still saving souls even though you sleep.
Amen. That's why we've been meeting in home fellowships now for the past few years. And the Lord has given me to preach Repentance and God's great plan and purpose for Christ (Head and Body) and all Creation. The difference is Babylon (man made religion) and Zion (the house God is building).
I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!
And what he said about Christian groups has turned out to be true. Many mainstream groups and musicians started out as gospel, eg. Katy Perry, Whitney Houston. Many start out opening for Christian groups because it's easier, then they go mainstream.
No such thing as an "anointed" sermon. Sure God can use a message. The only anointed is Jesus Christ and the only ones who HAVE the anointing i.e. the Holy Spirit are his called, chosen and faithful ones (his saints).

I was once very much one of these counterfit christians. The Lord has been doing a mighty work in me for the last two years and all Glory to God that I have seen the light of the truth!!! Praise our Heavenly Father for his love, discipline and direction. He does not abandon his children but guides them into all truth!! It is so true. People want a gentle drawing not conviction. A feel good gospel. Our own sin condemns us not the one who sees them. A true shepherd corrects the sheep and draws them back into the fold. God corrects those He loves. God give us wisdom to win the lost through your truth in a spirit of petition and love.

I upset my sister with The Truth; she will not repent, but rather she unfriended and blocked me. I was a little shocked because I truly believed that we were closer than that. But The Word does speak of the falling away and also family turning on other family because of THE WORD. She is definitely blind to her bondage and slavery to sin. She loves the world. 💔 Hurts me so much knowing that she is probably (likely) not saved, although she honestly believes that she is. People are starving for the truth. The sinners know they need something because they are empty inside and they are looking for something to give them peace of mind. I feel sorry for a lot of pastors and preachers that are not preaching the whole truth of Gods word. Sinners now think they can live anyway they want and make it to heaven as long as they go to church. From listening to these false prophets speak on youtube just make me twinge and to be honest it can suck the Luke warm christian in and take them into a false bible which is not what God is. David Wilkerson is amazing and his vision of the Times Square Church is something I still need to watch again. You have right...how can preachers like yourself preach to hard if you're speaking verbatim from the word. People just want to live their life the way they want or they will do just what they think is enough...like going to church and praying evert now and then etc. That doesn't get you into the gates of heaven. Believing that Jesus Chris is the son of God and he died for our sins and rose on the 3rd day is what gets you in. That's exactly it, sadly all people want to hear is the happy make me feel good message instead of thr full true Gospel that God called them to preach, they have lost their reverence of God, they think he will turn a blind eye and deaf ear toward them, God's judgment has come on them. I have never heard anyone preach as this blessed man, his teaching on the new covenant has change my life. I have studied the early church fathers, Augustine, origin, William Law, Andrew Jukes etc…. however I have never heard anyone preach the truth as this blessed man…. he knew the depth of the working of the inward man, and God gave brother David great revelation

There is a reason that Christopher hitchens and the Muslim champion Dr Dedat never challenged a man like David Wilkerson to debate. It is because a man of great experience will never be at the mercy or lose to a man with an argument.
A lot of people say their relationship with the Lord is "Between them and God", and to a degree that is true. BUT: No matter if you think you are a "nobody" or if you are a pastor of a church or anywhere in between...you DO have a sphere of influence and your life is a witness to those around you, friends, loved ones, neighbors, and more. If you aren't walking what you're talking and if you aren't allowing the Lord to guide and transform you...but are calling yourself a Christian...your life is still a witness to those around you...albeit a bad one! Repent and let the Lord guide and correct you, obey Him, and not only see the wonderful things He can do in and through you...but let the world see it too...as a fitting testimony to the power of God!
You sound like a Calvinist. I pray God blesses you with eyes to see and ears to hear the TRUTH. We don't obey the Lord to earn Salvation, that's impossible. We obey Him because we LOVE Him, and HE said HIMSELF "If you love me, obey My Commandments". If you believe in hyper-grace or any of this other nonsense that makes it okay to live a carnal, sinful life while calling yourself a Christian, you need to take another look at what Jesus actually taught. When I know that my God is all wise and His Commandments come from that perfect wisdom, I would be a fool to think I somehow know better and can run my life in the foolish ways of the world. The video demonstrates that David was one of an increasingly rare breed, one who feared God rather than man. Romans 8 vs 13-14 affirms his message. “For if we are living according to the flesh, we must die. But if by the Spirit we are putting to death the deeds of the body, we will live”. Grace is not given to license sin, but to empower us to overcome it.
God is not one to fear and does not want us to fear him, but show his love for us and take that love to the rest of the world! He is a God slow to anger and full of kindness and love, not your fire and brimstone ready to destroy anyone who disobeys him!

Preachers today love to preach about the "kindness" of God. But in Romans 11:22 NASB, Paul warns us not to forget about His "severity". If we fail to continue in His kindness, we (too) will be "cut off". In the preceding verse, he warns us that "we stand, only by our faith". So we ought not be conceited, but "fear". A few preachers may go to the opposite extreme and fail to do justice to God's kindness. But they would be extremely rare these days. I understand God to be like a nuclear power station. Treat it right, and there is nothing to fear. But lose respect for it, and you stand to be incinerated. We don't mess with nuclear power, much less God. There are many other passages I would refer to such as Matthew 10:28 and Hebrews 10:26-31. I expect that you might say that such passages do not apply to true believers. That would be a "dangerous" thing to say, to deny significant portions of Scripture. I would continue "off line" if you wished.

This man of God speaks to you the truth. I was watching television one day. I loved watching the history channel. And I watched about 1or 2. Now before I started watching the second history show, I said to my self I need to pray and read the bible. They before you knew it I watched the history channel all day. And I remember saying to myself I don't want to read the bible. It's something evil about the TV that makes you not care about the things of God. And when I was done watching the TV, I felt so empty and guilty that I spent all that time watching TV and no time I gave to God in read or praying.
This message hits straight to the heart of the matter. How many Christians when we confront them with the TRUTH, their reaction is "who are you to judge me." Because many do not spend enough time with The Word of God. Spend too much time in things of the world. TV is one of the main cause and lust of the flesh.

It is because the man with great experience will never lose or be at the mercy of a man with an argument. Dedat made exactly one mistake when he was inexperienced in debate circuit. That Muslim decided to pick on a man by the name of Josh McDowell for his first major symposium in South Africa in 1980. Josh mopped the floor with him, exposed him and everything he was up to, and absolutely obliterated most of Dedat's major points. He never challenged a real strong Christian again. Christopher hitchens never took on anybody of the caliber of Josh McDowell, Keith Green, or David Wilkerson and his debates. He knew where the strong were and not to go there.

If you have asked Jesus in your heart. The Holy Spirit will convict you and that makes sin hard and you feel bad. He showed me last year he’s coming and trust me I had a lot of idols in my life. I have put them down and am walking clean because I know the Lord doesn’t want me to do those things. I pray the Lord leads you brother.
They choose their company very wisely. As with me I’d rather walk alone or with few friends than gain the world and lose my soul. You’d be surprised how many don’t want light or even to lay their lives down for Christ. How can to walk together except they agree. Referring to the things of God.
It's the true word of God & it's really going on.....its a form of Godliness denying the very power of God to save them. I've watched the demise and destruction in people who've been warned to a very bitter end. I still grieve and weep because they refused to believe the true gospel for a different spirit and another gospel. 🙏 This man was truly from God.
Well that makes 2 of us. I'll personally go thank him for the truth. Cause I was almost gone forever and didn't have a clue why. Cause all I ever done was listen to easy preachers and was nearly done forever, and God and his Mercy, didn't want me to be lost forever and led me to find this awesome man. About ten years-ago, I was sleeping at my parents' house, when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, I saw what appeared to be a man weeping, as I peered in closer to see who this was and why he was weeping, it hit me, "This is Jesus weeping for me." Now, you may want to ask me the following question, "How do you know that it was Jesus that you saw weeping for you in that dream that night?" And the answer to that question, is, that, I know that it was Jesus that I saw weeping for me in that dream that night, because once I realized that it was him, I immediately woke-up, jumped out of my bed, and got on my face, in fear and trembling, for what must have been, at least, ten minutes. Now, if you do not believe that what I am telling you is the truth, then please, let me ask you a question, if I may; if that was just a mere man that I saw weeping for me in that dream that night, then why did I respond with fear?
I know your subject has probably been forgotten by you after 3 months but I woke also immediately after the Lord told me my wife had betrayed our marriage covenant(unfaithful) so yes I believe that's an attribute of experiencing the Lord after coming to us in a dream.

Those who truly follow Jesus only have ONE THING to fear, being mindful of the love that God, our Father, has for us will last forever. The ONLY THING that we have to fear is that we hurt, offend, and/or we sin against God Almighty. Even if we 'mess up', God's love empowers us to find perfect restoration into His family and give us the plan to be more than conquerors life instead of death and the grave! As you read the good news in the Holy Bible, your faith will increase and you will understand how "Perfect love casts out all fear." Please read I John 1 where God declares that if you CONFESS your sins/GOD, who loves you, He does FORGIVE you, and HE CLEANSES you from all unrighteous ... evil that could harm you and/or destroy you! You will live eternally ... somewhere ... for the Soul never dies! God lets each person/Soul choose the Way back to God through following Jesús Kingdom ... OR ... hell, the unpardonable sin of rejecting Jesus, the only Mediator able to restore mankind to God. Be wise ... choose Jesús. The problem with the world isn't God's perfect love for people, for He provee that on the Cross; the problem is that to many people hurt God and reject His Son, Jesus. You need not fear a dream or anything else if you make the LORD Jesús Christ, Son of God, Savior over all of your life. I pray God bless you and lead you in the best pathway for your life. Amen

Yep also one of my favorites - he too has gone to be with the Lord. Sadly, I can’t think of a single living man of God of Wilkerson and Prince’s caliber. I am blessed by a couple good ones but still not in these men’s level.
There's a few left. God always has His remnant. Most are found now in small home fellowships and even Zoom gatherings of fervent saints. I'm blessed to be a part of three such fellowships for the past few years now, and given the opportunity to teach the "Gospel of the Kingdom" that Jesus, the Apostles and Prophets preached, the "narrow Way."
If this has been preacher on January 15, 1990, people change a lot. Because I did. Died in November, 1994, thank God a billion times He brought me back 🙏, after 2 hours in Hell, as I was told later by 2 people who were there.

David Wilkerson was one of the most Holy Spirit anointed preachers ever. He called out sin, preached Holy Spirit conviction messages and was obedient to God. The unfortunate part today in most churches is that Holy Spirit has left the building and no one has discernment to acknowledge His absence. So few are preaching the Way of the Cross anymore. Yet God always has a remnant. There are some of us still teaching Repentance and Obedience, and the requirements upon those who will "come after" Jesus and receive the promises of Revelation 2 & 3. May we be am0ong those with "ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches." Amen.
I notice a lot of comments describing how sad a person is because this type of preaching no longer seems prevalent in todays church. What you must understand is that your sadness and despair is THE problem. YOU must preach the gospel, stop waiting for someone to come along to do it for you. Stop uplifting one person to do God's will, it is very dangerous. You are worthy to preach the gospel, not just Brother Wilkerson or someone else. The church must never be complacent.
It's now March 2023. Back in the '70s, when I first became a believer, it was David Wilkerson's sermons and teachings that I listened to on the radio. I would have never received this type of instruction where I lived at the time. Predominately Roman Catholic and the LDS Church. God has His hand over me. Thank you, Jesus.
Listening to him it seems like no one can ever be good enough for God. I therefore leave all of my sin at the cross and I rest in the knowledge that Jesus loves me despite the problems of sin that I have in my life and that HE is faithful to forgive because I am humble enough to admit my failure to live the kind of life that He wants me to live.
John, he didn't preach from the position of condemnation. He touched the heart of God. The reason you felt that way is because you don't have an appreciation of what sin is. If you hate the devil, you would hate his nature equally because sin is his nature. It sounds like you believe that God would ignore your sins on judgement day. That must be the 'god' of your own creation or imagination. God has given you everything you need to live a holy life. What is your relationship with the Holy Spirit? Are you being led by Him? Romans 8:14 declares that only those who are led by God's Spirit are His.
Our Lord is so beautiful. His Holy Spirit so magnificent. Our Father in heaven so loving. He makes tears of joy in our hearts and delivers new life. Praise Jesus!
I remember when I was a teenager and my mother was in a church that God And his holy spirit came down and dwell in this church there was speaking in tongues praising God was the best way that God could have ever shown me I didn't join that church I regret that but what I saw. I live for Jesus and have been struggling with addiction and God never let me down never give up hambone 329
I'll glad to see that there are still men of God still out there preaching the true gospel no matter what the cost. You wont hear this on TBN. If someone has a problem with this message they have the spirit of the word in them and need to born again.
You don't have to be a christian because your in a church. You are not a car if you stand in a garage.I love God. I don't love churches that take take take . All about the money now days. "And now, O Father, glorify Thou Me with Thine own self with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was." -John 17:5 Notice how Jesus said "Glorify Me with the Glory which I had with You before the world was"? This means that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was with the Father in the beginning of creation. Notice how in Genesis 1:26 God said let US make man in OUR image? This is implying that there is more then one right? US OUR? Jesus again while He is praying in John 17... "And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your own Name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one, as WE are."-John 17:11 Jesus is now saying that God the Father and Him are ONE and also the Holy Spirit is God. It is like a family, there could be 10 people but they are one family with each other. 1In the beginning was the Word,(Jesus) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. 4In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.-John 1:1-5 "7For there are Three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word,(Jesus Christ) and the Holy Ghost: and these Three are one. 8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.9If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which He hath testified of His Son. 10He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made Him (God) a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of His Son. 11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." -1 John 5:7-12 The Holy Spirit is also God and He is the Spirit of truth.-John chapters 14-16 Jesus told us we are to preach the Gospel (the Truth) and make disciples baptizing them in the Name of the Father , Son(Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. So there is God the Father, God the Son(Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and WE will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loves Me not keeps not My sayings: and the word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father's which sent me. 25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,(who is also God) whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.- John 14:23-26 This is why Christians MUST be in their prayer closets and be filled with the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and only He can unlock the Scriptures to us. This is why modern Christians today have no power to turn the world upside down as the Apostles did in Acts and why they have little understanding of Scripture because there is no prayer and where is the Empowerment (Being baptized in the Holy Spirit) in their lives. As the bible says in James "you have not because you ask not, but when you ask, you ask amiss." If Christians today are not sure about what they believe then go to the LORD in prayer and diligently seek Him for the Truth. there is only one Gospel, no other; only one Jesus, and any other is a counterfeit. As Paul said to the Corinthians.... "For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." -2 Corinthians 11:4 And this is a WARNING to the church because we were warned of false teaching and doctrines of demons in the last days. If you still don't believe then take all of your beliefs to God and let Him tell you whether you are believing truth or not, because He WILL tell you. "Let us, therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded;(like minded) and if in anything you be otherwise minded,(having different beliefs of the Gospel) God shall reveal even this unto you." -Philippians 3:15 David Wilkerson was a true man of God and Holy Spirit filled.
***** All throughout the New Testament we read how there is the Father (God the Father) the Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit (who is God). It also says in Genesis that the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."-Genesis 1:2 So we know that the Word (Jesus) was with God the Father in creation, but we also see the Spirit of God in the beginning in Genesis 2. So that means that the Holy Spirit has to be God. You didn't put all of what I put in 1 John, you missed this part.... "For there are Three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these Three are one." -1 John 5:7 Isn't God in Heaven? Isn't His Throne in Heaven? Then Who are these Three that bear record? It is God the Father, God the Son, (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus said in Matthew 28 that we are to make disciples and baptize them in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is not mathematically 1, He is Triune. In the Hebrew tongue, in the Old Testament we know God as Elohim, which is meaning more than one. Also in the Old Testament when we read about God being One, that word one in the Hebrew tongue is Echad, which means unity, or unified. So we go back to what John said in 1 John 5:7, when he said that there are Three in Heaven that bear record, and They are One, in unity. It is just like a man and woman when they come together in marriage, as God said in Genesis 2:24 "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." So there is two, a man and woman, but under marriage they become one with each other, they are in unity with each other as one flesh. So God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit are One with each other, unified, Echad, Elohim. We also read in the bible that the Church of Jesus Christ is ONE body, though there many members, we are ONE body, we are in UNITY with each other and Jesus Christ is the head of the Church.(Read 1 Corinthians 12) Now, what I have to say is that I am not here to debate. You asked for the Biblical proof, the Truth, and I gave it to you. If you are still uncertain then all I can say is that you yourself need to take it to the Lord. The bible says we are not to lean on our own understanding Proverbs 3:5, it is only God who can reveal the Truth to you. 6Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. 10But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit:(the Holy Spirit) for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. -1 Corinthians 2:6-13 Also Read John chapters 14-16, and you will find out all about the Holy Spirit.

I would also add that scripture states the Holy Spirit is given to those who are OBEDIENT to Jesus Christ. (Acts 5:32) And that James 4:4 tells us that friendship with the world is not only enmity with God, but spiritual adultery. You can't serve two masters and be faithful to both.
Wow!! We see this in spades today, in 2022. What Pastor Wilkerson said about the second-rate musicians being allowed to carry on in the church, is something I've felt for a long time as well.
This message means more to me than the food I eat while I am a preacher on the streets. Pastor, beloved who has gone before us, held so much that God gave him, yet he was still gentle with it and showed the loving kindness of rebukement amongst us. I personally miss you David, God used you in a commanding, unmistable and most relevant way. But even now, as I am typing I should thanked my God first. God does all this for us my bretheren. Amen. There is a vast difference between denominational Religion (Babylon) and the Church Jesus is building on the Rock (Zion). A few of us teach the "Gospel of the Kingdom" that Jesus, the Apostles and Prophets preached.

You can still find Holy Spirit filled people today but it's mostly at the local level. There are lots of prosperity gospel teachers and false prophets running around today. You should check out Torch Of Christ Ministries on RUclips, he's a holy spirit led evangelist
Too many people who are people pleasers, afraid of losing our standing among men at the expense of our relationship with God. Pastors and preachers tickling ears and preaching a watered down Gospel and isn't really the Gospel at all. There are still God-fearing, bold men out there who speak the pure truth, but I agree they're a rarity now.
My husband is a pastor & preaches like David Wilkerson. We only have 3 in our congregation. No one wants to here these messages on holiness. Eventally they get offended & leave. We still march on with Jesus!

Amen. That's why we've been meeting in home fellowships now for the past few years. And the Lord has given me to preach Repentance and God's great plan and purpose for Christ (Head and Body) and all Creation. The difference is Babylon (man made religion) and Zion (the house God is building).
I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

No such thing as an "anointed" sermon. Sure God can use a message. The only anointed is Jesus Christ and the only ones who HAVE the anointing i.e. the Holy Spirit are his called, chosen and faithful ones (his saints).

A lot of people say their relationship with the Lord is "Between them and God", and to a degree that is true. BUT: No matter if you think you are a "nobody" or if you are a pastor of a church or anywhere in between...you DO have a sphere of influence and your life is a witness to those around you, friends, loved ones, neighbors, and more.
If you aren't walking what you're talking and if you aren't allowing the Lord to guide and transform you...but are calling yourself a Christian...your life is still a witness to those around you...albeit a bad one! Repent and let the Lord guide and correct you, obey Him, and not only see the wonderful things He can do in and through you...but let the world see it too...as a fitting testimony to the power of God!

Romans 8 vs 13-14 affirms his message. “For if we are living according to the flesh, we must die. But if by the Spirit we are putting to death the deeds of the body, we will live”. Grace is not given to license sin, but to empower us to overcome it.

Preachers today love to preach about the "kindness" of God. But in Romans 11:22 NASB, Paul warns us not to forget about His "severity". If we fail to continue in His kindness, we (too) will be "cut off". In the preceding verse, he warns us that "we stand, only by our faith". So we ought not be conceited, but "fear". A few preachers may go to the opposite extreme and fail to do justice to God's kindness. But they would be extremely rare these days.
I understand God to be like a nuclear power station. Treat it right, and there is nothing to fear. But lose respect for it, and you stand to be incinerated. We don't mess with nuclear power, much less God.
There are many other passages I would refer to such as Matthew 10:28 and Hebrews 10:26-31. I expect that you might say that such passages do not apply to true believers. That would be a "dangerous" thing to say, to deny significant portions of Scripture. I would continue "off line" if you wished.

This man of God speaks to you the truth. I was watching television one day. I loved watching the history channel. And I watched about 1or 2. Now before I started watching the second history show, I said to my self I need to pray and read the bible. They before you knew it I watched the history channel all day. And I remember saying to myself I don't want to read the bible. It's something evil about the TV that makes you not care about the things of God. And when I was done watching the TV, I felt so empty and guilty that I spent all that time watching TV and no time I gave to God in read or praying.

About ten years-ago, I was sleeping at my parents' house, when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, I saw what appeared to be a man weeping, as I peered in closer to see who this was and why he was weeping, it hit me, "This is Jesus weeping for me." Now, you may want to ask me the following question, "How do you know that it was Jesus that you saw weeping for you in that dream that night?" And the answer to that question, is, that, I know that it was Jesus that I saw weeping for me in that dream that night, because once I realized that it was him, I immediately woke-up, jumped out of my bed, and got on my face, in fear and trembling, for what must have been, at least, ten minutes. There's a few left. God always has His remnant. Most are found now in small home fellowships and even Zoom gatherings of fervent saints. I'm blessed to be a part of three such fellowships for the past few years now, and given the opportunity to teach the "Gospel of the Kingdom" that Jesus, the Apostles and Prophets preached, the "narrow Way."

David Wilkerson was one of the most Holy Spirit anointed preachers ever. He called out sin, preached Holy Spirit conviction messages and was obedient to God. The unfortunate part today in most churches is that Holy Spirit has left the building and no one has discernment to acknowledge His absence.

We need more ministers like David Wilkerson. I miss the real Word being taught in the Church. I think the people of the world are crying out for something that is NOT like the world.

We need a serious Back-to-the-Bible Revival in this nation. So few are preaching the Way of the Cross anymore. Yet God always has a remnant. There are some of us still teaching Repentance and Obedience, and the requirements upon those who will "come after" Jesus and receive the promises of Revelation 2 & 3.
May we be am0ong those with "ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches."

I notice a lot of comments describing how sad a person is because this type of preaching no longer seems prevalent in todays church. What you must understand is that your sadness and despair is THE problem. YOU must preach the gospel, stop waiting for someone to come along to do it for you. Stop uplifting one person to do God's will, it is very dangerous. You are worthy to preach the gospel, not just Brother Wilkerson or someone else. The church must never be complacent.
It's now March 2023. Back in the '70s, when I first became a believer, it was David Wilkerson's sermons and teachings that I listened to on the radio. I would have never received this type of instruction where I lived at the time. Predominately Roman Catholic and the LDS Church. God has His hand over me. Thank you, Jesus.
Listening to him it seems like no one can ever be good enough for God. I therefore leave all of my sin at the cross and I rest in the knowledge that Jesus loves me despite the problems of sin that I have in my life and that HE is faithful to forgive because I am humble enough to admit my failure to live the kind of life that He wants me to live.
John, he didn't preach from the position of condemnation. He touched the heart of God. The reason you felt that way is because you don't have an appreciation of what sin is. If you hate the devil, you would hate his nature equally because sin is his nature. It sounds like you believe that God would ignore your sins on judgement day. That must be the 'god' of your own creation or imagination. God has given you everything you need to live a holy life. What is your relationship with the Holy Spirit? Are you being led by Him? Romans 8:14 declares that only those who are led by God's Spirit are His.
Our Lord is so beautiful. His Holy Spirit so magnificent. Our Father in heaven so loving. He makes tears of joy in our hearts and delivers new life. Praise Jesus!

I'll glad to see that there are still men of God still out there preaching the true gospel no matter what the cost. You wont hear this on TBN. If someone has a problem with this message they have the spirit of the word in them and need to born again.

This is Jesus praying before He was crucified for our sins. "And now, O Father, glorify Thou Me with Thine own self with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was." -John 17:5
Notice how Jesus said "Glorify Me with the Glory which I had with You before the world was"? This means that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was with the Father in the beginning of creation. Notice how in Genesis 1:26 God said let US make man in OUR image? This is implying that there is more then one right? US OUR?
Jesus again while He is praying in John 17... "And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your own Name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one, as WE are."-John 17:11
Jesus is now saying that God the Father and Him are ONE and also the Holy Spirit is God. It is like a family, there could be 10 people but they are one family with each other.
1In the beginning was the Word,(Jesus) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. 4In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.-John 1:1-5
"7For there are Three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word,(Jesus Christ) and the Holy Ghost: and these Three are one. 8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.9If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which He hath testified of His Son. 10He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made Him (God) a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of His Son. 11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." -1 John 5:7-12
The Holy Spirit is also God and He is the Spirit of truth.-John chapters 14-16
Jesus told us we are to preach the Gospel (the Truth) and make disciples baptizing them in the Name of the Father , Son(Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. So there is God the Father, God the Son(Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit.
23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and WE will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loves Me not keeps not My sayings: and the word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,(who is also God) whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.- John 14:23-26
This is why Christians MUST be in their prayer closets and be filled with the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and only He can unlock the Scriptures to us. This is why modern Christians today have no power to turn the world upside down as the Apostles did in Acts and why they have little understanding of Scripture because there is no prayer and where is the Empowerment (Being baptized in the Holy Spirit) in their lives. As the bible says in James "you have not because you ask not, but when you ask, you ask amiss."
If Christians today are not sure about what they believe then go to the LORD in prayer and diligently seek Him for the Truth. there is only one Gospel, no other; only one Jesus, and any other is a counterfeit. As Paul said to the Corinthians....
"For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." -2 Corinthians 11:4 And this is a WARNING to the church because we were warned of false teaching and doctrines of demons in the last days.
If you still don't believe then take all of your beliefs to God and let Him tell you whether you are believing truth or not, because He WILL tell you. "Let us, therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded;(like minded) and if in anything you be otherwise minded,(having different beliefs of the Gospel) God shall reveal even this unto you." -Philippians 3:15
David Wilkerson was a true man of God and Holy Spirit filled.
***** All throughout the New Testament we read how there is the Father (God the Father) the Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit (who is God). It also says in Genesis that the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."-Genesis 1:2
So we know that the Word (Jesus) was with God the Father in creation, but we also see the Spirit of God in the beginning in Genesis 2. So that means that the Holy Spirit has to be God.
You didn't put all of what I put in 1 John, you missed this part....

Isn't God in Heaven? Isn't His Throne in Heaven? Then Who are these Three that bear record? It is God the Father, God the Son, (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus said in Matthew 28 that we are to make disciples and baptize them in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God is not mathematically 1, He is Triune. In the Hebrew tongue, in the Old Testament we know God as Elohim, which is meaning more than one. Also in the Old Testament when we read about God being One, that word one in the Hebrew tongue is Echad, which means unity, or unified.
So we go back to what John said in 1 John 5:7, when he said that there are Three in Heaven that bear record, and They are One, in unity. It is just like a man and woman when they come together in marriage, as God said in Genesis 2:24 "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."
So there is two, a man and woman, but under marriage they become one with each other, they are in unity with each other as one flesh. So God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit are One with each other, unified, Echad, Elohim.
We also read in the bible that the Church of Jesus Christ is ONE body, though there many members, we are ONE body, we are in UNITY with each other and Jesus Christ is the head of the Church.(Read 1 Corinthians 12)
Now, what I have to say is that I am not here to debate. You asked for the Biblical proof, the Truth, and I gave it to you. If you are still uncertain then all I can say is that you yourself need to take it to the Lord. The bible says we are not to lean on our own understanding Proverbs 3:5, it is only God who can reveal the Truth to you.
6Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.
10But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit:(the Holy Spirit) for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. -1 Corinthians 2:6-13
Also Read John chapters 14-16, and you will find out all about the Holy Spirit.

I would also add that scripture states the Holy Spirit is given to those who are OBEDIENT to Jesus Christ. (Acts 5:32) And that James 4:4 tells us that friendship with the world is not only enmity with God, but spiritual adultery. You can't serve two masters and be faithful to both.

Wow!! We see this in spades today, in 2022. What Pastor Wilkerson said about the second-rate musicians being allowed to carry on in the church, is something I've felt for a long time as well.
This message means more to me than the food I eat while I am a preacher on the streets. Pastor, beloved who has gone before us, held so much that God gave him, yet he was still gentle with it and showed the loving kindness of rebukement amongst us. I personally miss you David, God used you in a commanding, unmistable and most relevant way. But even now, as I am typing I should thanked my God first. God does all this for us my bretheren. Amen. There is a vast difference between denominational Religion (Babylon) and the Church Jesus is building on the Rock (Zion). A few of us teach the "Gospel of the Kingdom" that Jesus, the Apostles and Prophets preached.
