I stopped going to my church because I got tired of 2 fast songs, 2 slow songs and a 10 minute sermon on love and three line sinner's prayer and people clap and welcome people into the body of Christ. You never hear about repentance, or correction, conviction or discipline or judgement. People come in going to hell and leave the same way. I can listen to David Wilkerson, John Hagee, Leonard Ravinhill, Charles Spurgeon, Voddie Bachmun, Carter Conlon, and other preachers that preach the full council of God.

It's so sad that there are maybe 20/25 people in our church that usef to be well packed when i was younger. I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. I want to share this dream that I had about a year ago. The authenticity of it, is as real as the God who gave me this dream. In this dream I was at my church, and the main pastor was preaching and on the flat screens you can see cars crashing, havoc on the streets and it was obvious he was talking about the rapture. I cannot remember everything, but I will never forget seeing the main pastor walking out waving goodbye! and just then I saw how in the front by the altar the other pastors were there, and the church was full and I saw how people disappeared. What amazed me the most was that I myself stayed to watch this scene that frightened me a lot. 2nd thing that amazed me was, the fact that at least 70% of the church was still full of people. Which it was God telling me, to prepare myself to live in Holiness and separated for Jesus Christ or else stay back and also that many are going to be left behind because they are living just like the non-christians..

@Barbara Freeman Bashing other believers in bitterness. I'll tell you what, I've sat in the pews of modern churches who appeased itching ears and gave amazing pep talks all in the name of Jesus! I had my pastor tell me that because I wanted to quit vaping, I was religious! Anything to abandon my flesh made me a legalist! After leaving that church and seeing the truth of wolves in sheep's clothing, I now feel this call to anguish as pastor Wilkerson called it, as I feel the father's heart for the body of Christ who have gone so wayward in the world. I've searched for preachers who preach sound doctrine that leads to repentance and speaks against sin and lust, and Mr Wilkerson was one of the greatest! He spoke the truth! He didn't care if he offended because he cared more about men's souls than their feelings! If you feel offended toward this kind of truth being preached, then you should be seeking the truth of the father in fasting and prayer because your ears are closed! And when you are done avoiding or backtracking or trying to excuse your blunder, also explain why you are calling the original Christians “Pagan” in your foolish accusation.

Over and over this is addressed. 1) Paul called those who focus on days “weak brethren” who do not know the Truth. 2) Paul said that those who observe days, weeks, months and years of a labor in vain, for he labored to tell them the truth, but they could not break from their tradition. 3) Romans also says that one man (weak) treats one day as holy, but another treats ALL DAYS as the same, and that EACH should be fully convinced in his own mind, and that the Gospel should not be discredited by such petty things. 4) It is also written that YOU have no place in judgment over such matter, because the Lords servant will stand because the Lord is able to MAKE him stand. But, ya’ll rarely read the Bible. You see to “miss” all these things. 5) In the Book of Acts, the Elders, Apostles and the whole Church has a PERFECT OPPORTUNITY to enforce the Sabbath, but they refused to push the Law. They even said that to do so was to provoke the ANGER of God! 6) Over and over we read how God made the Gentiles RIGHTEOUS in the ABSENCE of the Law (including the Sabbath), and since God gave them the Holy Spirit in the obvious LACK of observing the Law (including the Sabbath), it is very foolish to suggest that they go under bondage when their liberty was already made clear with the gift of the Holy Spirit. I could go on and on. Judaizers work backwards … because you do not know the Lord, or His Character, or His Word … evidenced above and even now.

I stopped going to my church because I got tired of 2 fast songs, 2 slow songs and a 10 minute sermon on love and three line sinner's prayer and people clap and welcome people into the body of Christ. You never hear about repentance, or correction, conviction or discipline or judgement. People come in going to hell and leave the same way. I can listen to David Wilkerson, John Hagee, Leonard Ravinhill, Charles Spurgeon, Voddie Bachmun, Carter Conlon, and other preachers that preach the full council of God.

Our preacher preaches this message and more like it. He doesn't molly coddle anyone. No candy coating for itching ears. It's so sad that there are maybe 20/25 people in our church that usef to be well packed when i was younger. People with the itching ear syndrome can't handle the truth and seek out the ones that only preach feel good sermons (Osteen?). Jesus didnt candy coat anything so we as His followers shouldn't either. You tell the truth to people not to criticize but to show your love and concern for their very soul.

I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

Forget about the pastors today and all those prosperity pastors this is the true word of god we need to get back to basics in JESUS CHRIST
I want to share this dream that I had about a year ago. The authenticity of it, is as real as the God who gave me this dream. In this dream I was at my church, and the main pastor was preaching and on the flat screens you can see cars crashing, havoc on the streets and it was obvious he was talking about the rapture. I cannot remember everything, but I will never forget seeing the main pastor walking out waving goodbye! and just then I saw how in the front by the altar the other pastors were there, and the church was full and I saw how people disappeared. What amazed me the most was that I myself stayed to watch this scene that frightened me a lot. 2nd thing that amazed me was, the fact that at least 70% of the church was still full of people. Which it was God telling me, to prepare myself to live in Holiness and separated for Jesus Christ or else stay back and also that many are going to be left behind because they are living just like the non-christians..

@Barbara Freeman Bashing other believers in bitterness. I'll tell you what, I've sat in the pews of modern churches who appeased itching ears and gave amazing pep talks all in the name of Jesus! I had my pastor tell me that because I wanted to quit vaping, I was religious! Anything to abandon my flesh made me a legalist! After leaving that church and seeing the truth of wolves in sheep's clothing, I now feel this call to anguish as pastor Wilkerson called it, as I feel the father's heart for the body of Christ who have gone so wayward in the world. I've searched for preachers who preach sound doctrine that leads to repentance and speaks against sin and lust, and Mr Wilkerson was one of the greatest! He spoke the truth! He didn't care if he offended because he cared more about men's souls than their feelings! If you feel offended toward this kind of truth being preached, then you should be seeking the truth of the father in fasting and prayer because your ears are closed! he was crucified before the sabbath, but the bible says it was a "high day" sabbath, first day of the feast of unleavened bread, not a regular friday-saturday sabbath. it happened on passover, which at that time was wednesday, not friday. he was buried hastily so that it would be finished before the high sabbath which began at sunset.
