I listened to it 2 times then went back a 3rd time and took notes because I just can’t let this Truth slip by me! The part when he says, ‘ “We are seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father” is PROOF that God IS keeping His covenant with us through Jesus’... well for me, that reaches my very soul! Father in Heaven, thank you rising up Holy men and women of God throughout the ages of time. Thank you for the great cloud of witnesses who have gone before us. Thank you for keeping us inspite of ourselves, thank you for the New and better Covenant which is by Jesus Christ. Our hearts grieve that our Pastor Wilkerson is no longer with us. Is it easy or hard to be saved and stay saved? If it is hard then that means it is dependent on our efforts and if so how can anyone be saved since ALL fall short? Isn't it God's will that all be saved? Tell me, if at the moment I am not keeping God's commandments and have just sinned does that mean I am lost and if so then that means it never mattered that before that I was confessing and keeping God's commandments for 50 years but now God doesn't love me because I failed? Isn't God more faithful than we? What if I died right before I starting sinning would that not have prevented me from becoming lost? Why would God allow or not allow more time to become lost? Are children saved? If little children go to heaven and are saved then why doesn't God take everyone as children so that they can all be saved? I really like this. I grew up in a very legalistic Church, and, I only got saved about 6 years ago, but after two decades and some change of having been fed legalism, it sure is a tricky one to get out of. Thank God that Christ won the battle for me.

Not sure of the full context of your inquiry but I can say this much...Do not WILLFULLY sin. Make up your mind to not do what displeases God. Once you make up your mind, you need to RELY on the Holy Spirit to help you walk it out...every single day. We need help from the Holy Spirit because our flesh naturally wants to do wrong. If you do sin, go to God, confess that sin, ask for forgiveness, then receive His forgiveness.

Anything that takes your focus off Godly things and teaching is not edifying, I use to smoke weed and I thought it was ok, but I found that I could not focus on the things of God while under the influence of marijuana, it says in the bible to be sober and vigilant, I repented and stopped smoking it, it was something I did before I got saved and because I listened to the wrong pepole instead of listening to God's word, it was a stronghold in my life that kept me from hearing God's voice, sure there's medical benefits in cbd oils , but using marijuana just to get high is not of God, it's a fleshly desire and the devil uses it among many other things that are seemingly harmless to entice you to sin, I challenge you to to dig deep into the bible and study so you can know for yourself what is right and what is wrong, I say all these things out of love and concern although I don't know you, I feel God laid it on my heart to reply to your comment, God bless and seek the Lord
It depends. Are you smoking for medical reasons, or to get high? Scripture doesn't say don't drink, but it says don't be a drunkard. If you're saved, you know the answer to this question. The Holy Spirit will tell you. Cannabis is no different than any medication. Used correctly, there's nothing wrong with it. Abused, the Holy Spirit will tell you you're wrong.

You do have to have the desire to be obedient but it's out of love and this is where the Holy spirit comes in to hold your hand. God will reveal to you how much he loves you in worship and prayer and while reading the word of God. We are transformed.
Yes!!! Absolutely!!! Love that you must get from God. God is Love and we really don't know what love is until we know who God is. We can't come to God nor have the desire to come to him unless he draw us to himself. The scripture says that no man can come to me unless I draw him. The very faith that we have is a gift that comes from God. And that faith is distributed by the Holy spirit in the measure in which he decides. It is a gift like the many gifts you read in the book of Corinthian; therefore, no one can boast. It is all by God's holy design. My desire is nothing if I am not willing to be made willing to do the will of God. He is looking for the broken and contrite in spirit and heart. A willing will. Not one who has it all together and making empty promises like...I will stop doing this or that and the other...NO!!!.. I have been there and have done that with futile results. I had to allow him to draw me in my nothingness so he could make me something, but not in myself but in the one you he placed inside of me which is himself in the form of his Son Jesus Christ via HOLY SPIRIT.

Pslam 40 has been taken out of context.Go down to verse 12 and see it is Dvid who is talking not Chrsit as it speaks of his inequities. Christ's obedience to come in the flesh and die for the sins of mankind does not save anybody. It make a provision to save anybody. God has put eternity in our hearts.He has given us a conscience and placed us on earth to see His invisible power through nature.This causes us to seek God.So even seeking that man does is a grace given by God.The seeking causes the grace of God to convict us of our sin which lead to godly sorrow and repentance. This repentance causes God to grant you forgiveness made possible through the cross. In addition you are given the gift of the holy spirit to teach you,santify you to become more and more like Jesus.Yes, its all by Grace but it doesn't mean you do nothing.We respond to God Grace through faith and repentance to be forgiven.So its not obedience that saves us but by faith. The the evidence that you have been saved by faith will be an obedient life.To think you have been saved by faith and continue to keep on sinning is a delusion.Obedience is a natural outcome and an overflow of thanksgiving to those who have truly seen in their Spirit what Christ has done for them.Read the epistle of james and Romans 1 in context. Repent is a command not a work. Let’s not confuse being circumcised and, washing, and animal sacrifice, etc. With the need to repent and turn to Jesus and experience his forgiveness and cleansing.

Not sure of the full context of your inquiry but I can say this much...Do not WILLFULLY sin. Make up your mind to not do what displeases God. Once you make up your mind, you need to RELY on the Holy Spirit to help you walk it out...every single day. We need help from the Holy Spirit because our flesh naturally wants to do wrong. If you do sin, go to God, confess that sin, ask for forgiveness, then receive His forgiveness.

Marijuana is not a sin this is the problem with the world because the government said its bad because they want you to spend money on medication instead of the natural healing plants God put here for us!
Anything that takes your focus off Godly things and teaching is not edifying, I use to smoke weed and I thought it was ok, but I found that I could not focus on the things of God while under the influence of marijuana, it says in the bible to be sober and vigilant, I repented and stopped smoking it, it was something I did before I got saved and because I listened to the wrong pepole instead of listening to God's word, it was a stronghold in my life that kept me from hearing God's voice, sure there's medical benefits in cbd oils , but using marijuana just to get high is not of God, it's a fleshly desire and the devil uses it among many other things that are seemingly harmless to entice you to sin, I challenge you to to dig deep into the bible and study so you can know for yourself what is right and what is wrong, I say all these things out of love and concern although I don't know you, I feel God laid it on my heart to reply to your comment, God bless and seek the Lord

It depends. Are you smoking for medical reasons, or to get high? Scripture doesn't say don't drink, but it says don't be a drunkard.
If you're saved, you know the answer to this question. The Holy Spirit will tell you. Cannabis is no different than any medication. Used correctly, there's nothing wrong with it. Abused, the Holy Spirit will tell you you're wrong.

Sean Fleming the minute you say that I have no will power to do the will of God....that is when you are well on your way.....you must be in total dependence of the holy spirit.....you cant do it without him.....forsake your will power....forsake all your abilities and so called skills....just pray and ask for his strength.... not day by day.... but moment by moment....you can just say 'help"...doesnt take some long drawn out prayer....the lord understand and can gather all that you have in your heart to say before you even say it....he knows what all is behind what you are trying to say...when you just say....HELP!!:)

You do have to have the desire to be obedient but it's out of love and this is where the Holy spirit comes in to hold your hand. God will reveal to you how much he loves you in worship and prayer and while reading the word of God. We are transformed.
Yes!!! Absolutely!!! Love that you must get from God. God is Love and we really don't know what love is until we know who God is. We can't come to God nor have the desire to come to him unless he draw us to himself. The scripture says that no man can come to me unless I draw him. The very faith that we have is a gift that comes from God. And that faith is distributed by the Holy spirit in the measure in which he decides. It is a gift like the many gifts you read in the book of Corinthian; therefore, no one can boast. It is all by God's holy design. My desire is nothing if I am not willing to be made willing to do the will of God. He is looking for the broken and contrite in spirit and heart. A willing will. Not one who has it all together and making empty promises like...I will stop doing this or that and the other...NO!!!.. I have been there and have done that with futile results. I had to allow him to draw me in my nothingness so he could make me something, but not in myself but in the one you he placed inside of me which is himself in the form of his Son Jesus Christ via HOLY SPIRIT.

Christ's obedience to come in the flesh and die for the sins of mankind does not save anybody. It make a provision to save anybody.
God has put eternity in our hearts.He has given us a conscience and placed us on earth to see His invisible power through nature.This causes us to seek God.So even seeking that man does is a grace given by God.The seeking causes the grace of God to convict us of our sin which lead to godly sorrow and repentance. This repentance causes God to grant you forgiveness made possible through the cross. In addition you are given the gift of the holy spirit to teach you,santify you to become more and more like Jesus.Yes, its all by Grace but it doesn't mean you do nothing.We respond to God Grace through faith and repentance to be forgiven.So its not obedience that saves us but by faith. The the evidence that you have been saved by faith will be an obedient life.To think you have been saved by faith and continue to keep on sinning is a delusion.Obedience is a natural outcome and an overflow of thanksgiving to those who have truly seen in their Spirit what Christ has done for them.Read the epistle of james and Romans 1 in context. Act 16:32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
You cannot be a "little Christ" Christian unless you actually act like Christ. That jailer in your quote wanted what Paul had and by hearing what Christ SAID, he knew that he had to kill the old man and had to figuratively wash his old sins off of him.
Of course you can say that you just need to "believe that he paid for your sins"... but your Scripture doesn't say that... David Wilkerson says that
