David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

I prayed for my husband to get saved for year's God came through and my husband received Jesus then learning lhe had cancer I took care of him fo 6 month and he went on to be with the lord we made it through by faith in God that was 12 years ago jm now 85 and God is still taking care of me Thank you Jesus for loving me

This is exactly where I’m at in my walk with the Lord Jesus , He just told me to quit my job I was planning on retiring at and loved this job , when I wrote up my resignation letter I told them that I was resigning because Jesus told me too and they thought I was crazy but I know it planted a seed in them also I worked for a large airline and had a great job great pay great benefits but I must trust Jesus and follow after Jesus not this world

In the industrial advanced nations we, by and large, have not had to have faith for anything much more than crisis and troubles.
Our hearts have grown fat with ease, comfort and safety and lean on faith, love, trust and holy reverent fear of God.
I thank God He has taken businesses and homes and everything away from me and taught me to trust Him.
He asked if I would be willing to give all up and receive everything back by Him a few years ago and do so for Him, for my family and witnesses to look on and learn, and for the times that were to come.
I live impossible situations by my old standards and others, but have never had more peace and security with God, and better yet, my wife and children easily say "God will do something, He always does." They said it just yesterday when the transmission went out on our car.
I'm seriously disabled now because of my heart, disability takes forever to get, raising a grandson, and, and, and, but we know God is True, Faithful and loves us.
The impossible, 24 hour lockouts, (resolved by a miracle) no car, resolved by someone hearing about my need and giving me one, a daughter they said was going to die and to call the family because there was no more to do, to then live and be on her feet 2 days after they pulled all their tubes and I.V.s, on and on I could go.
Faith in God, _HIM_ , Him and His Declared Word Only! All He wants is for us to believe HIM, HIS HEART FOR US! And from us He asks for our hearts.
I've died a thousand deaths to myself and countless other things, none were easy, especially not for an old can-do-get-er-done country boy.
America, the days are coming upon us where anything you have will be by Faith,it's what God told me 22 years ago that it would be this way at this very time and here it is, we see it unfolding here and around the world.
Quit men and seek God. Accept whatever He does to force you to believe because, He is your Father and because of His never ending love for you, He is trying to teach you and train you for your good and for His Glory.
Turn everyone off and get your own self before God and seek Him. When you're empty,when your all done for, He'll speak to you.

Thank you Ahava for posting. It's good to hear David use a little levity, but he is one of the most sincere and sober preachers I've ever experienced. Through the years we received all his taped recorded messages and news letters from the beginning of them. I've always been impressed by his willingness for our sake to be transparent and share openly his personal hurts and short comings. Few Christians can say with the Apostle Paul, " follow me as I have followed Christ ", but David is one of them.
He’s the real deal. No doubt bout it.

David Wilkerson was good at making you fear God. In fact, he loved preaching “God will get you. You’re about to fall away, and here’s what’s gonna happen when you do. God will bring destruction on you, since you want to sin and not trust God.”

I have an URGENT prayer request, if God moves on your heart about it. There is a man named Chris who is in prison for doing some unimaginable violence some years ago. It’s caused agony in his heart. When he first got to prison, the devil taunted him tremendously through other inmates to commit suicide. The only book he had there was a bible, and he read it cover to cover. He began searching for God and sending bible verses to other inmates, and has had a growing desire over time to help the other inmates. I can see God working in his heart, but he still CAN’T forgive himself for what he did, and that is my prayer request: that the Lord will give him the grace to forgive himself that he be born again, and walk on the path of truth. If anyone is willing to pray for him CONTINUALLY, God bless you abundantly! Again, his name is Chris.

Alisa S Forgiving ourself us not scriptural. This is denying Jesu's sacrifice on the cross. All Chris needs to do is accept Jesus as is saviour. Christ's grace and forgiveness is all we need.

My friend, there are many bible verses about how we are commanded and required to forgive from the heart. The ones i listed below are only a few of them. This principle of forgiveness (and unforgiveness) doesn’t only apply to forgiving others, but to forgive ourselves as well. It would be strange for the Lord to tell us to forgive others, but then not care about forgiving ourselves as well. If it wasn’t neccessary to forgive, then the Lord wouldn’t be telling us repeatedly over and over again to forgive. Peace ❤️🙏🏻

My God, such profound message. I know God is the God of the impossible and if mu faith us as small as a mustard seed, so many miracles can/will happen in my life. But I'm so taken over by fear and lack of faith in God. The reason for this is; lack of reading the Word thaylt results in my faith being weak.
Jesus said that men need the Word of God just like bread and we need His Word to sustain us every day. It is a nutrient to our spirit. If we stopped feeding from the Word, we stop getting the benefits and our faith starts to weaken.
I listen to lots of sermons, do lots of praise and worship but my orayer life and reading the Word is lacking. Thank God for this message and reminder that there are consequences of not trusting God 🙌🏾.
We can't walk in the spirit without a close intimate relationship through prayer. Reading His word is important but prayer is above all.
This so true I need to start feeding myself with the words and be consistent. Build up my prayer and fasting life have a closer walk/relationship with Him then things will change in my Christian life.

I love his boldness, it's needed.
Young people need this. This will wake them up. He is a true Man of God of sound doctrine.
That is the way he preaches, we are not all the same. His passion for the word of God comes through, the high pitch and the urgency in his voice, earnestly willing us to get it has he has. Perhaps the real problem you have with his preaching is that it convicts you.
By the way speak for yourself, not for all young people. You may not like it, but other young people may love his style.
