I'm just so happy to hear her say how good she feels. I've struggled with depression all my life and those holes that you can fall in from time to time are so hard, but man when you climb out it's the best feeling in the world. I hope she can always feel this good, she's such a lovely person .
Kristi, I completely understand the feeling of starting to fall back in love with things after coming out of a depression. It's such an amazing feeling knowing that it was just a dark patch and that it wasn't actually you. It's been a few years for me now, but watching this video brought all those excited and happy feelings back. I'm so eternally happy for you and your healing.

It is literally the worst thing. I stopped doing everything I loved. And what makes it harder is when people don't understand it. Even after talking to my mom about it she still doesn't truly understand it. She sees it like you can just shake it off and I tell her I don't want to feel like this. Maybe one day she can understand, it's been 17 years tho. But I still love love love my mom.

After losing my father to covid and battling breast cancer, I stopped caring too. After a year and getting help, I'm finally excited about makeup again! I have missed you and your love of it as well.

Tip for the brow pen:
Leave it sitting upside down with your makeup brushes if it seems like it’s trying out. It brings all the pigment back up to the tip. Think of the concept of having to dip a brush back into eyeshadow, felt can be the same way.

As someone who resisted medication until I couldn’t deny that I needed it anymore (4-5 years now on medication!) I am so happy to see you happy! It’s an indescribable feeling of relief when you find your combo that works for you. Happy to see you back!

Thank you for being so open about your mental health. Because of that video, I finally called my doctor and we agreed to try meds. I have tried everything else, like therapy, healthy eating, exercise etc and my anxiety was still thru the roof. I’m about 2 weeks in and starting to feel better. So thank you. ❤️

@@RawBeautyKristi I’m also trying to find a dr for the same reason I’ve battled for 4 yrs 3 yrs off meds and hoping to try meds again while also in therapy which I wasn’t in before. My therapist said he thinks I should try meds. So yes thank you for sharing and I’m glad you’re feeling better. I can only hope for the same results as my depression has been extremely bad and I’m doing nothing for myself besides watching yt videos but can’t get out of bed unless I absolutely have to. So ty and please keep talking about it. Hopefully the stigma will go away. Much love and I hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving Day

there is a 'calm' about you, a contentment, almost a relief, about you now. i love it, and i'm so happy you're back and where you are today! also, i agree about the Huda shiny-ness lol. i love that you're like [one of] the only few who doesn't reach for red/pink/orange/yellow eyeshadow every single time! this LORAC palette looks like a dream, thanx for opening my eyes to it! :)
One thing I love about your videos is how I can actually see the makeup you are using. A lot of other people I can see a version of what it looks like in their videos, but you make it so easy for us.

While I may not be a longtime viewer I was immediately drawn to you. I cannot say how happy it makes me to see you happy. Pretty sure some of that extra glowiness was all Kristi shining through.
The Lorac Beauty & the Beast palette was one of the most beautifully curated palette I’ve ever seen. Stunning and unique shades. Elegant packaging. Great formula. Also the Pirates of the Caribbean palette was amazing too!! Such unique shades that represented the concepts perfectly. I would love to try some new releases from Lorac. 💚

I’ve had the colourpop eyebrow pen for about 3 months about and it’s still going strong- definitely not dried out. It’s my favorite brow pen that I’ve tried so far. Love how tiny it is.

So, so happy for you. As someone whose anxiety disorder turned into a panic disorder a couple of years ago, and it still rears its ugly head every year around the same time, I can't tell you how much I empathize with the feelings you expressed, and how happy I am you're doing better. I think a part of my issue is Seasonal Affective Disorder. I live in WA too and have been trying out a light therapy lamp to help.
Live in WA too. B12 and vitamin d help a little but don’t take anxiety away at all 💜💜💕💕 been so exhausted since the time change sorry you’re going through that 💜

Yea I was so shocked at how good feeling good felt when my SSRIs kicked in and I started sleeping again. Things are fun again! The sun seemed like it literally shined brighter. I just wanted to scream from the rooftops how much better things were so yea it’s gonna be a common topic for you for awhile. Freakin enjoy it! So happy for you.

I have to tell you that my heart and mind are so thankful for this upload. My heart and meaning as a person has been crushed as of a week ago today. My husband and I found out that we have had a “missed miscarriage “ which had been a huge blow to us and our sons. We were already struggling because our car is on its last two legs and my job is giving me grief about trying to take time off for our healing. As of now, they argue they are not responsible but I cannot at this time say more than that as we are seeking guidance. I’ve never been through anything like this before. I’m broken, broke and do not know how to heal yet. I’m reaching out to resources for mental help from my ob. But lord it is hard to accept and I thank god (literally) for you because you and your energy and message helps me feel not only better but normal. I hope you and your family are well and healthy. I wish you nothing but the best.
Please send positive vibes our way because I am at the end of my rope and could really use a friend right now 💞
Jennifer, Having had 2 miscarriages I understand. The pain is intense and some people think you should just brush it off. Not possible. Keeping you in my thoughts, the pain does lessen with time.

I know it sounds strange but it almost feels better to speak to people I don’t know that have experienced it rather than a close friend that has not.
