Rome Fiumicino International Airport (FCO) is the main airport serving Rome and is the busiest airport in Italy. Spanned throughout two terminals (Terminal 1 and Terminal 3), Fiumicino is only one of two airports in Europe with scheduled non-stop service to all six inhabitable continents. ITA Airways (AZ/ITY), the flag carrier of Italy, is based out of Rome Fiumicino and operates its main international hub from Terminal 3.

Hi! I will arrive at terminal 1 and I want to see the big planes in terminal 3. Is it possible to ge to terminal 3 just to planespot?
FCO has really improved a lot over the last years and I saw the work is still go on (20 years ago I never expected it to become like this honestly). I almost forgot: well done, thanks. 🍺
Nice vidéo. Thank you
Beautiful airport
Nice video thank you
Thank you!
Sei un grande
So nice information. Thanks from pakistan
Olé of the best airport in the world👌
Very helpful thanks man! I will have a 4 hour layover to tunisia from brussels do you think I will have to board from terminal 3?
Usually flights within the schengen area depart from terminal1
@@simonestrinati874 we went to crete instead
Eecently Terminal 1 has been enlarged and is home to about 60 gates to shengen destinations.
Did you pass at the customs ?
I arrive at Terminal 1 (FCO) and need to go to Terminal 3 to catch another connecting international flight. Do I need to go through customs during the 2 hours layover? Thanks.

Hey can you please reply i m in tge same situation
@@aaliyaaffak8728what abt you
do you have to go through customs before your connection?
Yes
Do we need to clear immigration while going from terminal 1 to 3 to catch our connecting flights?
I'm not sure but I think so, because from T1 only flights depart for the Schengen area, so there isn't really any immigration, unlike T3. As said though, I'm not sure. If I remember correctly, the connection from T1 to T3 takes you right after the controls, so you should only go through immigration
Hey! I’m flying from the UK with a layover in Rome to then fly onto Shanghai - will I have to go through immigration whilst i’m in Rome? I’m assuming both are terminal 3? 🤔
Likely won’t need to go through Schengen immigration
@@OnTimeReports brilliant, thank you!
Do u instead go to the E gates section to transfer to Terminal 3 or do I have to exit first?
Everything is inside. You do not exit.
Thanks. Do we need transit visa for indian nationals going to india from london via rome.
Best to ask your embassy

I'm coming from the states and have a connecting flight here on the way to cairo egypt....do I go through passport control or security?
If your itinerary is on one ticket then your bags should be transferred automatically. If so, then you shouldn’t need to go through security again
@@OnTimeReports what about passport control

⭐⚪⚪⚪⚪ yes
Edit OMG TAHSNK FOR THE LOKES
i have 55mins layover in t1 to t3 i hope i can make it 😢
Hi, did you make it on time? I'm also planning to book an Alitalia flight that has only 50 minutes of layover. I would love to know your experience.
I wouldn't trust those short layovers cause you would have to rush to get to your gate worst case could be your bags may not be able to get onto the next flight because not enough time depending on how many staff is there to help
@@deepaklal5147 I asked the airline and they said if you don’t make it due to delay or something, then they will allow me to board the next flight for free (which is like 6 hours later). Yes there is a small risk of luggage delay, but by taking this flight with a short layover I’ll reach my destination on time and thus won’t waste the money on a hotel that is booked for the whole day.
@@nicks6776 now me too, did you make it? 🥲
@@nicks6776what about you, did you make it on time? I'm about to go through the same situation in a couple weeks
