I suppose the time of day will also determine which train station to Civitavecchi. I believe there are several train stations that could be the actual transfer point. Also, it would be nice considering your 15 minute remark on taking the elevators to get to the correct platform and how you did that. That is, where are the elevators if not obvious and how did you find the information for the correct platform for Civitavecchia? It would seem this is rather crucial information if you have a close connection.

Correct, after you get to the port area in the train then you either take bus, shuttle or walk to the ship and yes we took small bus/ shuttle if you will.

The bus drivers where standing out of the train station waiting for people to come out to take them to the port, should be easy don’t worry, and you pay cash (make sure you have some euro 💶 on hand). Safe travels

I bought the tickets right there by the train station right off of the airport. They are 2 trains and no direct one that I’m aware of. They give you one ticket that has both trains ticket on so you pay one time and they give you the ticket for both trains to get to your destination and nobody checked the tickets at either station honestly.

No trouble on the train at all. Everybody had 3 and 4 baggage with them,No questions asked. The last bus was right out of the train station as they are all lined up and ready to take you right to the ship. The bus was not free.

Well for me it was the first time and trying to figure out so it took me longer. I would say about an hour roughly.

The bus is right off of the train station once we walk out of it there is gonna be buses and taxis lined up, the cost was 8 euros a person.

There is buses and Taxi that take you from the ship to the train station. See my other video as a reference on the disembarking process. Thank you

I would get there as early as possible to be by the port at the right time. Being there early doesn’t hurt but i would say about 1-2 hours estimate.

The ship name was Odyssey of the seas and i took it from Chicago Ohare to Rome
