Love your take on the port name - ChiviCherryCola, ChiviJerryLewis, ChiviChiliCheeseFries, ChiviChewbacca, etc, etc, etc. Made me SMILE each time - Thanks!
In my personal opinion I find this a little offensive and I prefer not to do so. It’s like to keep calling someone’s name mistakenly on purpose just because they have a different name or you can’t pronounce it properly. I’d rather try my best all the time to pronounce it or find a nickname to use instead.
I'm a big pre-planner when it comes to trips. Just about everything in this vid I had already done on my own before it popped up in my feed (Trenitalia app, pre-bought tickets, mapped the walk to the train station, etc). However, the tip on getting off the train at St. Pietro instead of at Termini was gold. I paid no attention to the actual stops while planning and just went with the recommended route to Termini to get in to town, AND WE ARE GOING TO THE VATICAN, lol. We were already a bit crunched for time and I was struggling to find a pocket for us to eat lunch. Now instead of getting off at Termini 20 minutes later and taking the A train to the Vatican, we'll have almost an hour to eat after getting off at St. Pietro. Less than a single minute of a half-hour video will save me an hour. Thank you so much.
Using the Trenitalia app is a huge benefit - I also used it during our cruise in May. There are actually nonstop trains from Civitavecchia to Rome Termini ("Frecciabianca" Express train). If you can book some days ahead the price is also very reasonable, I payed for one way in First Class incl. seat reservation 9,90 EUR, so around 20EUR return. Just consider that this train doesn't stop at San Pietro which would be the better station if you want to visit Vatican. For all other city areas Rome Termine is good.
That is very useful information thanks. We've only used a regular ticket in the past doing this journey. How does the "validation" process work when using the app version of the ticket?
@@markeaston7353 as I bought the online ticket for a specific train, there was no validation necessary. I just showed my ticket in the app to the conductor.
Thank you for your video. 2022 and 2023 I was on a Europe cruise out of Rome. The train is the cheapest way to get to Rome. Taxi was 10 euro each way to and from the port. I recommend the taxi or bus because you will walk alot. From the ship to Rome by train it will take around 2 hours. That's included taxi, waiting for the next train, buying ticket and getting information of where you want to go see in Rome. Please plan at least 2 hours to get back to the ship or you will be a pier runner. This video bring back alot of great memories, thank you again.
We took a cruise from Rome around the Mediterranean, arriving in Rome a couple days early to do all the touristy stuff. We considered all our options to get to the port (there were 7 of us in two families), and in the end decided to hire a van to take us to the port. It fit all of us and our luggage and was very reasonably priced.
Thanks. After watching your video I feel absolutely exhausted, nursing a headache, checking the odd pain in my feet, and turning the AC to Maximum. I no longer regret staying on board during my last stop in Civitavecchia. Fortunately I saw Rome years ago on a leisurely land tour and could skip it again if going by sea.
As a travel nanny who has gone on cruises with clients and after watching I know I would never do it on my dime! Great information for those who want to cruise. I always use a train app for countries I visit. Railninja was great for Portugal and Spain. Will check out your other videos.
This video is so helpful. It gave me the peace of mind to cancel my cruise ship excursion/transfer to Rome. We instead booked our train tickets and had a much cheaper and wonderful time in Rome for the short time we had there. Any time I see a post asking about getting to/from Rome I suggest the train, give them some of the details you provide and then suggest watching this video. While on the cruise I told multiple people about the Trenitalia app and helped people with their tickets etc and got so many thanks for it. Out of all the videos Ive watched for researching the ports this by far was the most beneficial.
Looking into doing this as we are cruising with Norwegian next month and taking the train into Rome. Our cruise docks at 6:45 and leaves at 7. What would you recommend for ticket times-going and returning.
This is the video I’ve been searching for to have all my questions answered regarding the train system and tickets from Civitavecchia to Rome!! Thank you! Liked and Subscribed!! 👍🏼 and thanks to all who commented with their ideas as well!❤
It was our first trip from Civi to Rome . Getting off the ship , we took a short walk to where buses that go around the port to the train station (cant remember how much we paid for the bus ride) . 3:15 . At the train station we bought a ticket to Rome . It was an hour ride to St Pietro . After a couple of hours at the vatican ,we took a metro to the Colloseum . After a few hours of exploring central Rome we headed back to the ship . A day well spent off ship .
Great video, Morgan! Like you, I took the train from Civitavecchia to Termini in the spring. There was so much luggage piled by the doors that it impacted people getting on and off the train. Memorable trip! Keep up the good work!
Loved the variations of the name. I was going to take the ferry from Barcelona to Chevy chase and then the train to Rome. This has given me confidence that I could complete this with the minimum of stress.
We just got back from a Mediterranean cruise, our itinerary had us on 2 day stays in Civitavecchia and Livorno. Also a port this is a distance away from it's advertised city stop. 1) I used the OMIO app for Italian train ticket purchase. 2) I booked the train tickets in advance and early in the day. 3) We were on NCL that supplied a bus to city centre on both those ports. Keep those steps down on needless walking, they are better spent on sight seeing. 4) Comfy shoes, 40k steps the first day and 20k the second because we thought, lets take buses today. The only things that saves me undue stress are that I have mild OCD, and I was a boy scout when I was young. Be Prepared. We did the same thing the following two days into Firenze (Florence) P.S. Buy and learn how to use an esim
Same for me. I have been laughing as I try to understand the Civitta...words since English is my 2nd language after French. Thank you for being such a good source of information with your personal funny touch. 😂❤
Just be aware, if you are on an Oasis class RCL ship, the dock is a lot further away. There is a free shuttle to a central square in Civit but the walk to the train station is much further, about 35-40 minutes.
Yes. That central square was hard to find when walking from the train station. A very long walk with luggage. It’s best to take a taxi from the train station to the ship (if you can do this) or to the central square for the free bus to your ship. The port area is huge.
The one time we sailed from “Rome” we took one of the Rome to Civvi independent transport services. (arranged by our travel agent so I don’t know which one). The driver got stopped by the police, we assumed for speeding. We weren’t allowed off the minibus and spent half an hour in a lay-by staring at a picnic table and trash can while the driver and police resolved whatever the problem was. I think the next time I’d go with the cruise’s transfer service.
When I went on my cruise of the Mediterranean, one of the stops was in Naples,. Since the ship wasn't leaving until later that day, I found I had twelve hours to myself, so I took a cab to the train station, and took the supersonic train to Rome, and did a walking tour from Termini to St Peter's square, then took a cab back to Termini, and another hour long supersonci trip back. If I had taken the regular train, it would have taken 3 hours, one-way each. I'm glad I did it. Like you, I bought my tickets, beforehand. In fact, I bought them online before I even left for the cruise. It was very convenient.
Termini Station is a nightmare - and a prime pickpocket spot. also, as you noted, the Civitacvecchia line's platform is so far from the main terminal. For those reasons, we always get off/on at either the S.Pietro or Trastevere stations which are closer to the places most people would want to see. Also, we have always been able to take FREE shuttles buses from the CV port entrance directly to our ships (and vice-versa); so you only have to walk between the train station and the port entrance (near the Tourist Info stall).
@neresq - really thanks a lot. better read your advice (it takes 15sec) than hearing this guy complaining (at least 10min) and giving no real advice after all. why do this "job" if you do not like it? never understand
This is the first time to EVER subscribe to an informational video (are these even called videos?). I will be travelling from Rome to the Civitavictoria [my Grandaughter's middle name] Port to catch a cruise to Lisbon, the following day. You provided some great tips and made me feel more comfortable, knowing I will be navigating everything solo. I love your sense of humor. Ty.
Have taken the train to S. Pietro and back 3 times on different cruises with no issues. European trains (UK apart,) are normally very good and on time. Last year we took a train from Livorno into Florence and back, again with no issues.
Caught the train to Rome back in August and was able to book the tickets through our UK Trainline app. Very easy trip but we had a shuttle to the edge of the port which meant we walked through a shopping street to get to the station. Walked back, it was a long way in the heat. Our ship was docked a mile down the dock from the security gate!
I absolutely L❤VE your pronunciations of Civitavecchia. When we went on our cruise, because of you, I practiced so much to get it right. And, because of you, I still goofed it up. Thank you for the awesome content you continue to produce!
Thank you for this video! I've literally been looking for information for the past few weeks as we are going on a cruise in a month! We were going to take the direct shuttle to the train station from the ship but I read that it may take some time for it to start as it waits until it's full. If the walk really is about 20 minutes, we would absolutely do that!
Great info! We have been to Rome four times but never by cruise. On the subject of taking a chance on riding the train without a valid ticket, if you are caught you will be fined. Sometimes as much as 50 euro on a ride that would cost 10.
In an effort to save money and avoid unnecessary stress, I am a planner! I purchased my tickets a couple months prior to my trip so I'm glad I got that down. It was very helpful to get an idea of the time to travel from the ship to the train station and get a glimpse of what to expect. Thanks! Our cruise starts and ends in Barcelona so I'm about to go watch that video now. 🙂
Aerobus from the airport into Barcelona is cheap and very convenient! Also, there is a bus that takes you to the cruise port, The Cruise Bus, also called the Blue Bus, which is an easy way to get to the ship. You buy tickets from the bus drivers, €3 a single ticket, €4.50 round trip. They take cash payments only. Just a couple cheaper options to get in and out of Barcelona. I should add that i usually only have one piece of luggage, but it’s still very manageable.
I've been waiting for this. I will need it twice next May. And again in November 2024. Both to and from Civi(fill-in-the-blank) Thank you so much. I wonder if my wife has stopped laughing yet.
Great info thanks! We leave soon for Rome and will be taking the train from Rome to the port. I did get the TrenItalia app, and they have a train/bus combo ticket you can buy. Not sure if you were aware of that. Family of four with luggage is only 37 euros from Roma Termini to Civitavecchia, train & bus.
We took a train from Termini to the cruise port last year. It cost 12 Euros each and that included a bus vtom the train station to the boat. Took about 90 minutes and stopped a lot. There was no place to put luggage except right by the doors. I sat on the luggage but there were lots of other travelers doing the same thing. I would take the train to the port again it was easy.
Where did you buy the ticket that includes the bus ride to the ship? Also can you explain how you sat on your luggage? You mean you have the luggage by the train door and you just sat on the luggage by the door?
Having been and out of Civi and Rome three times we have taken three different means of travel. The best is to be ready to take the green bus, that wanders around the port and winds up at the "downtown" bus station. This trip is free. OR if you choose, you may request to be let off at the main gate and walk the beautiful promanade to the train station (about 10 minutes) Note: the 9:00 train is an express to Roma Terminal. Enjoy.
I did this a few months ago on my Toscana cruise with Costa - I was amazed that there were so many organisations selling the train tickets (at a marked up price) directly outside the train station. I did think that Rome was a bit awkward to get to from the port - it's SO cumbersome to get from the ship to the town, then to the station, then into Rome. My advice - just go visit Rome another time, and spend your day enjoying the ship while I've so quiet!
We also arrived to Civvy and took the train into Rome. As first time cruisers and users of the train system there, we found Civvy train station was a nightmare. In future we will use the app for sure! We also found ourselves sitting next to a lovely Nun who also was reading the Vatican News on her phone. Who knows, she may have been the same lady although it was back in 2019😊
i have been watching endless videos on this exact scenario we will be going on our journey next sunday , and let me tell you ... your has been the most comprehensive and relatable thank you so much .. also civichewbacca was my favorite hahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!
Great stuff. Best is to get the train to St. Paul's beside the Vatican then walk across Rome visiting the sights. Throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain and return on train from main Terminal.
We were docked in Civi-etc on our cruise in 2009. I don’t remember a long walk to the train station, but I was younger then. We did get off the train at the stop by the Vatican because we wanted to go there first. Walking the city was interesting on the cobblestone streets but we did the same things you did; get pizza, gelato and an espresso so we could use the coffee shop bathroom. We just sidled up to the coffee bar and ordered our espresso’s, tossed it down just like the other Italians at the bar then went to do our business. The walk to the train at the station was lo-o-ng. At least 15 minutes but the train was so nice. I think we got in the first class car by mistake but no one questioned us. We’ll be there on our cruise on the Sun Princess in April ( never go in the summer) but we may just pass on going into the city and stay in Civi. I really enjoy your videos and your sense of humor!
Perfect timing Morgan. I fly tomorrow and will be on a train from FCO to Termini, then to Civitivecchia ( love all your variations)…. It was great to see your trip, and I had already downloaded the app.
@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides Yes, it was an easy trip. I bought my ticket at the ticket office since the line was short and their system wasn’t processing cards, so I’m glad I always carry some local currency. Changed trains at Trastevere, met a nice family from Quebec.
Thank you for showing us what its like to use the train sure looked busy sadly just heard from some neighbors They had family that were pick pocket at one of the train station, Luckily not too much was taken as they had other purses under their clothing with the important things . It was so busy at the tickets thats when it happen Its was a small gym bag rugsack with umbrella sunscreen, few snacks that was taken . Still nerve racking that it happened 😢. Great video. Have a Good weekend 🥰
THANK YOU for this. We did get to Rome and back from Chimichurga! Now they have taxis that go to train station for 6e. Thanks - we got off early (your advice) and purchased our tickets online!!!!
In 2016 my wife and I started our Princess cruise in Civichevychase and took the train. We had to go to an off site terminal to check in and then bussed us to the terminal.
This is fantastic! Wish I'd had this video a few years ago when we took the train from Civitacherrycola 😂 into Rome to meet up with the guides from Can't Be Missed tours. We got a little lost trying to find the Stazione and I was so worried we were going to miss the train and thankfully, some kind locals pointed us in the right direction. Whew! Will definitely be watching your video walk next time we do this.
about twisting your ankle.....same thing happened to a friend, then she fell and smashed her knee, she was taken to a hospital, did not make it back to the ship on time. Luckily her daughter ran back to the ship to get her passport. She was in the hospital for 3 days because her knee needed surgery. Then she stay at a hotel for a few days to heal. Point is, if the ship had left with her passport she would of had a huge problem. So take your passport with you. Just make sure it can not be stolen from you.
Thank you for a great video. We are traveling to Italy in Fall 2025. We’ll fly into Rome, do the touristy thing then take the train to Civichimichuri as you mention. Not so scary now. Thanks!❤
Isn't Barcelona cruise port moving from where it is. When we cruised out of Rome we started there so we hired a car to drive us to Citivecchia and I think that was the best thing.
We did that some 20 years ago. Cruise wanted 50 usd per person and a family ticket on the train was 5.40 euros return, including free travel on the underground. Nice that they have a nice walkway now. Back then there was none and we were told off by a harbour official because we were not supposed to walk.
I love you video.. you are funny delivering the facts.... I am not afraid to make the same trip with my wife...she is so extra... when it comes to use vip transportation from. Airports to ports to hotels
My husband and I took the train into Rome with no problems. The only scary part was that the trains tend to go on strike fairly often. We were fine but did find out that the next day they had a one day strike. The positive thing about taking the train is not geting caught up in the busy car traffic driving into Rome.
Nice job on the video & great tips about app and diff train lines. We took the train to Civitavecchia last year for our Med cruise and overnighted in Santa Marinella - nice little beach town!
Thank you so much fir sharing your experience. It’s very useful. Public transportation does need a little getting used to! The walks are so long and you barely had any time in Rome. 🙁
I always use the train from the airport to Civitavecchia. It’s easy and cheap. Normally I stay one or two nights in Civitavecchia before embarking. It’s a great little town with some fabulous restaurants and bars, as well as a nice beach. The walk from the town to the ship doesn’t take long even with luggage.
We stayed there and got ripped off in the B&B...it was totally overpriced and the duvet covers were so worn. The host was on top of us...walking into our room and changing the position of the things. The town has too few hotels and b&B and they are bad quality and overpriced
I did the same last year on my cruise. Getting to Rome was easy but finding my train back to Civi from Roma Termini was an absolute nightmare. The train was late and the platform wasn't displayed until just before it arrived. And it was quite far from where the departure board was in some sort of different section of the station. I followed the signs to the platform until I ended up at a gate which was closed. I found a staff member how to get to the platform and was told I had to go all the way back where the gates to the other platforms were, go through the gates there and then come back down to where the closed gate was and there it was still what felt like about half a mile before I finally got to the platform.
@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides i didn’t even see that you responded to me 11 months ago 😂!! But to answer your question yes in two weeks I’m actually doing a back to back cruise and will be in Rome for 3 days 😂 Civi-Chewbacca was my favorite (I watched your video again and cracked up as if it was the first time i heard it. And PS I just ordered your book can’t wait to read it !!!
Thanks so much for this info! You provide excellent info with such a wonderful flair. Our cruise is October 2025, and I'm pretty freaked out. I appreciate you Morgan!
I'm very glad I could help you prepare! Please consider a channel membership or grabbing a copy of "Getting Stitches on a Cruise Ship" to help me out, too ;-) What ship will you be on?
I recommend taking the train and heading north to Tarquinia, it’s super short trip and this mid evil little town has history goes to pre Roman times where the Etruscans were. The food, wine and atmosphere there is phenomenal, the town is up on a hill with spectacular views of the sea. Rome is too far and not enough time …
I loved all of your variations of Ciitavacchia!!! I'm sitting at my desk at work listening to your video & each one cracked me up, literally laughing out loud (my coworkers probably thought I've lost it!)! :D

I absolutely L❤VE your pronunciations of Civitavecchia. When we went on our cruise, because of you, I practiced so much to get it right. And, because of you, I still goofed it up. Thank you for the awesome content you continue to produce!
And thank YOU for being the first person to watch and comment!
😂 omg, your pronunciations of civitavecchia made my morning
It means, approximately, old town. Vecchia is a feminine version of the adjective "old ."
Love it!😅
Thank you for this video! I've literally been looking for information for the past few weeks as we are going on a cruise in a month! We were going to take the direct shuttle to the train station from the ship but I read that it may take some time for it to start as it waits until it's full. If the walk really is about 20 minutes, we would absolutely do that!
it is
We learned so much from your video, great job! Your names for Civitavecchia are hilarious.
I'm very glad I could help!
Hilarious Morgan! How did you keep a straight face with those city names? They just kept getting better!
Heehee. Loved all of your new names for the port! Especially Chevy chase!
I hope it goes smoothly and you have a great time!
Again, how to get this combo train bus ticket?
You are helpful and hilarious 😂 I’m now convinced to suck it up and pay for the 10 hour shore excursion from the ship!!🚢
Really hilarious pronunciations! We are going to Rome on a cruise next June! Very excited and this vlog was very helpful!
Enjoy.
morgan, you always make me smile!! ;). the variations on the cruise port had me laughing out loud. thanks for the chuckle.... :)
Great information with a little humor. Thanks.
We also arrived to Civvy and took the train into Rome. As first time cruisers and users of the train system there, we found Civvy train station was a nightmare. In future we will use the app for sure! We also found ourselves sitting next to a lovely Nun who also was reading the Vatican News on her phone. Who knows, she may have been the same lady although it was back in 2019😊
This was so helpful. And you are hilarious. Every time you called "Civitavecchia" something else, I LOL'd. Thank you!
Happy to help, and to put a smile on your face!
Very interesting ! And Funny ! Thank you
i have been watching endless videos on this exact scenario we will be going on our journey next sunday , and let me tell you ... your has been the most comprehensive and relatable thank you so much .. also civichewbacca was my favorite hahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!
I'm so glad I could help you prepare for your cruise to Civichestxray! What ship will you be on?
On my way next week so this is very helpful. Thank you Morgan.
This video makes me very happy I spent an arm and a leg on a cruise excursion. I’d literally be in Rome by the time he left. lol.
This was a hilarious video, Morgan. I love your humour! 😍
Funny!!! My wife has your book ready for our next cruise which starts on 9/12. I read vicariously through her. 😊
Thank you so much for taking your time to provide us with plenty of solutions for our future trip. Best from Puerto Rico!
Thanks. I learned a lot with this video. I'm on the NCL Epic next May leaving out of Civitavecchia. I downloaded the train app as I watched the video.
Perfect timing Morgan. I fly tomorrow and will be on a train from FCO to Termini, then to Civitivecchia ( love all your variations)…. It was great to see your trip, and I had already downloaded the app.
Did you make it? How did it go? Welcome to Civichilicheesefries!
@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides Yes, it was an easy trip. I bought my ticket at the ticket office since the line was short and their system wasn’t processing cards, so I’m glad I always carry some local currency. Changed trains at Trastevere, met a nice family from Quebec.
Thank you for showing us what its like to use the train sure looked busy sadly just heard from some neighbors
They had family that were pick pocket at one of the train station, Luckily not too much was taken as they had other purses under their clothing with the important things . It was so busy at the tickets thats when it happen
Its was a small gym bag rugsack with umbrella sunscreen, few snacks that was taken .
Still nerve racking that it happened 😢.
Great video. Have a Good weekend 🥰
I wish the bag contained a glitter bomb.
Yes!!!!! Iykyk. @@michaels3003
Captain Morgan!!! A great video with lots of good advice, thank you. I love the various permutations you have for Civitavecchia🤣🤣🤣
Glad I could brighten your day!
If you are going one way from termini, buy your ticket to Civitivecchia Porto, and it will include the bus.
Thank you for your tips and the humor! We all need more humor!
I’m ready to watch this video again immediately just to hear all your variations of Civichewbacca.
This is been invaluable …. Stopping here on my cruise in July …. Will NOT be taking train to Rome 😂😂😂😂 thank you for taking one for the team ❤
Glad it was helpful!
@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides it was it was!! Only just discovered you but super helpful vlogs ….. and make me chuckle too … keep on doin whatcha doin
THANK YOU for this. We did get to Rome and back from Chimichurga! Now they have taxis that go to train station for 6e. Thanks - we got off early (your advice) and purchased our tickets online!!!!
That is awesome! Very glad I could help 💪🏻
Your creative pronunciations of the downtown Rome area cracked me up! Made my day! 😂
In 2016 my wife and I started our Princess cruise in Civichevychase and took the train. We had to go to an off site terminal to check in and then bussed us to the terminal.
We use RomeCabs when in Rome. Very nice bunch.
This video made my day! The highlight of the topic the pronunciation of the port name 😂 love it!!
Great video, Morgan! Very informative and, as always, entertaining!
Thank you for a great video. We are traveling to Italy in Fall 2025. We’ll fly into Rome, do the touristy thing then take the train to Civichimichuri as you mention. Not so scary now. Thanks!❤
I'm so glad I could help! I hope you have a great time and make it to Civichewbacca with no problems.
Your mispronunciations of the city has me cracking up, loving this video so far
I'm glad I could put a smile on your face.
I used to be able to pronounce the name of the city but since listening to you for a few years I no longer can 😂
Omg love love your blogs. You are so entertaining and yet very informative. Thank you for you!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You are very welcome, Kathryn!
Good on you for figuring out how to do it without the cruise line!
Good to know about the strike
I was laughing so hard at your pronunciations of Chi-ChevyChase! Great video! 😂😅 💃 🎰 🍹 🌱
Cherry cola is my favorite! When we where there the bus took you all the way to the ship. Ok, maybe chili con carne lol
Enjoyed all the new names for the Port!
Nice job on the video & great tips about app and diff train lines. We took the train to Civitavecchia last year for our Med cruise and overnighted in Santa Marinella - nice little beach town!
Very good video! Love your sense of humor! Thanks a mil!
Thank you so much fir sharing your experience. It’s very useful. Public transportation does need a little getting used to! The walks are so long and you barely had any time in Rome. 🙁
Wow that was very informative! Going to Civi-Cherry Coke next year on Odyssey of the seas and your video was very helpful, thanks 😊
Did you go?? We are leaving in 2 months. Any advice . We are also going on Odyssey
@@veronicapellino9034 No not yet :( My trip is in november 2024
Europe has an awesome commuter rail system.
Great information Morgan xx
This video was super helpful for my summer planning and you're great at sharing info and tips! Not boring at all :) big thanks!
Well you have convinced me that I do not want to be hauling my luggage on the train to the port! lol Chevychubaka looks busy and a far walk!
That sounds stressful!
Every time you said the name of the town i was cracking up. Thank you for the info
Glad I could put a smile on your face. Are you planning a trip to Civichalupa?
@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides i didn’t even see that you responded to me 11 months ago 😂!! But to answer your question yes in two weeks I’m actually doing a back to back cruise and will be in Rome for 3 days 😂 Civi-Chewbacca was my favorite (I watched your video again and cracked up as if it was the first time i heard it. And PS I just ordered your book can’t wait to read it !!!
Thank you for the information. I feel a little more confident traveling alone to Rome and/or Florence using the train.
I'm glad I could help! When is your visit?
8:18 this is so helpful!!!!!!!!
Very informative! I am better prepared for my trip. Plus love all of the Civitavecchia pronunciations. lol
We fly to Rome next week and sail royal Caribbean from Ravenna! Then after the cruise fly out of Venice.
I just got back from Civitavecchia. Fortunately the New Statendam have a shuttle bus to the train station.
free or cost?
I recommend taking the train and heading north to Tarquinia, it’s super short trip and this mid evil little town has history goes to pre Roman times where the Etruscans were. The food, wine and atmosphere there is phenomenal, the town is up on a hill with spectacular views of the sea. Rome is too far and not enough time …
I loved all of your variations of Ciitavacchia!!! I'm sitting at my desk at work listening to your video & each one cracked me up, literally laughing out loud (my coworkers probably thought I've lost it!)! :D
I don't want to be responsible for you getting called into HR!
Sorry. Civitavecchia. He pronounced it correctly at the very beginning. A lot of people do not bother.
This is very helpful for our upcoming trip. Thank you
