    I just purchased a Maytag dishwasher and this is my first time using a dishwasher. My question is do it supposed to have a little water inside the dishwasher at the bottom after using it. thank you for this video it was helpful. I also need to purchase the mounting brackets.

      It is normal to have a little water at the bottom, especially if drying cycle was not used. Mounting brackets needed to be part of package if you purchased it new.

    So many problems with this installation. National code requires the a GFCI outlet. As well, code does not allow the outlet to be installed in the same cavity as the appliance. The outlet is missing the cover. Finally, you have a 20 Amp outlet in what appears to be a 15 Amp (14 gauge) wiring. You didn't show leveling of the appliance. NEVER install sealing tape on compression fitting threads. The threads only hold the compression fitting tight and does nothing for sealing.

      Thank you for the info. I am sure it will be helpful for others. I will consider electrical suggestions for myself. As for leveling, I did not need to do it.

    Hi. Does this model come with a power cord? It says on home depot specs that it does but i have heard others say it does not. Great video:)

      It does not come with a power cord. In my case, I had to buy an installation kit with a power cord, as you could see on the beginning o the video. Thank you for liking the video.

    Is a strain relief the same as a 2-screw wire clamp? If so, what is the diameter of the hole?

    • @averagemaintenance3875
      @averagemaintenance3875  Год назад +1

      I am not home at moment and can't give you specifics about hole size, but you can watch it around 8:06 mark again and see about it. Thank you for watching.
