      @@averagemaintenance3875 how many pulleys are there all together? Is there two idler pulleys and two pulleys on the tensioner pulley? I really couldn't find an answer to this anywhere. My friend has a vibration with noise and hope it's not the water pump but it's got enough miles on it that justify all the pulleys being replaced.

    • @averagemaintenance3875
      @averagemaintenance3875 2 дня назад

      @quevicular To not misinform, you can check for yourself the diagram at 0:40 mark and see how many pulleys are there considering what tensioner is, colling compressor, alternator, and more. In my opinion, water pump and tensioners are most prone to go bad. But it's hard to tell with older cars. Good luck.

    I have this model. I'm not prepared to wash my dishes before putting them in the DISHWASHER because of a poorly designed filter! We constantly get the E1 error. You can see that the supposed "filter" doesn't stop anything. Food gets through to the pump, which clogs, or allows food through to the drain hose, and clogs that. Then the dishwasher beeps and gives the error code, and stops. You then have to press cancel drain (sometimes twice). We then run the rinse cycle. Maytag replaced the pump, the drain hose (twice), in the first 3 months. That worked only for 3 months. I've just scheduled the 4th callout in 15 months.

    Sadly, this didn’t work on my truck, but…Ram just recently extended the warranty on the seals on the fin and lights. I called in and let them know that the seal failed on my back window.I explained that the only way for my window frame to crack on the inside of my truck was if water was getting into the seal and expanding from freezing temps. They replaced it. I didn’t have to pay a dime. I didn’t go through the dealership, but contacted the Ram warranty service directly. They gave me a code to give the dealership to schedule the replacement.

      Was it a recall? My truck is doing the same and my headliner is wet. I also keep shorting out the rear bed light bulbs. I think it’s all from the bad seal???

      @@dailygrinders89 It’s not a recall. Ram sent out a letter saying they were extending the warranty on the seals on the fin and back window lights. I called to see if they would also cover the window seal and they did.

      @dailygrinders89 I heard you could go to the dealer and get it fixed, but different people have different stories. See comments on my video and check out other's videos .Do you homework and than decide what to do. Good luck.

      @dailygrinder89 My dealer wanted to charge me $1200 plus labor to replace the window. Said there was no way to cover it. When I called Ram Warranty Services, they made the call to cover it and gave me a reference code to give to the dealer.

    Does this one clean better? What was it about the 5105 that you didn’t like?

      I gifted my 5105 to my son and wanted to buy same brand but a little bit simpler due to current prices . Both clean the same good. Old one was more technologically advanced. In my opinion one thing that is better with new one is noise. New one is a little bit more quieter.

    I have watched several videos on cleaning the EZ Trap- this is by far the best one I have seen in terms of information if not production value! Nice job, very much appreciated!
