@@monapinkest that's a few clicks away LOL hope all is good with everybody man top of the morning to all y'all from South Carolina United States 😊😊👊👊👊👊👍👍
You showed many models I dreamt about in my youth. The 1965 Foka was one of my favourites, the Cumulus was flown by a closed friend of mine, but I never managed to get thos models. But I fly a Clou and trainers like Caravelle and Floride (original wings, but newly built fuselage).....
Hi ReinhardYes those gliders were also my favorits in around 1970. And specially the Foka. In 1974 I got the first Cirrus. Around 3 years ago I found the yellow Foka and the Cumulus on a Danish web site for old stuff, and I got them for around 50 $ each :) Later I found another Cirrus and the White Foka,And still looking for more Vintage gliders ;)
I got a graupner ls6 my cousin got me from Germany in the 80's that I'd like to sell , anyone know how much $ I could get for it? It's not finished but all there.
@@SpeedsterDEN thanks, it's tough letting go but I think it just needs the wing joiners. Also got some dodgsen design Camano, povot, pixy, Windsong any ideas if those are worth anything? Windsong is completed and minty but the other 3 have been crashed but flyable.
Gliders have a low air resistance so they like to fly fast in a dive :) like here:ruclips.net/video/n_ohx4sQABwO/видео.htmlr at DS:ruclips.net/video/DegX_we1Mic/видео.html
Thank you :) Most of the glider are really old and the are build with only 1 aileron servo and before you could get real spoilers, so it was a easy fix to change to 2 aileron servos and use them as spoilerons. The yellow Foka and the Cirrus are more than 45 years old :)
Hi, we have 3 in my club, 1 with motor, 1 with brakes, and one as RE, I am not a fan of RES gliders but they always impress me with their performance when I fly one :)
Thanks for the reply Speedster. I have a B.O.T for about 18 years now, rudder, elevator only, just use it for thermal searching as there are no good slope soaring sites in my area. it is a very good sailplane. love your video's keep up the good work.
this video lives in my heart. from times to times i come back to watch it again. i'm looking for a nice place to fly my scratch built 1.5mt Bocian
Some fun Will be good!! Great gliders and funny pilots! 😎✌️

My Wind Drifter Two was nothing like this.
Nice old gliders :)

If it was in Germany and a untouch kit then around 350 $ on Ebay. If you have started the build maybe around or under the half if you are lucky

Very nice speed/momentum control. Old school has it's own Roost! Bet you guys slope soar too?
Yes very much, we have some nice slopes and dunes near by :) ruclips.net/video/pfoN0Jy2vkk/видео.html
Way Cool same thing here check my site too.
Can I ask how is it that these gliders fly so fast ? It is incredible to watch - - - and hear !

Because macaws of the top of the wing in relation to the bottom of the wing The way it's curved Makes all the difference
Bit close with the loop there!
Very Nice
nice
Gliders are cool but you guys are PILOTS! I noticed that most of you seem to be using spoilerons.

I did not see the Bird of time.
