There’s actually no bad characters in wuthering waves. It’s all about what you invest into them and then understand the kit and play style of whoever you’re using. And the right echo can also make a difference
Man Aalto is so fun. My only regret is that I'm skipping yinlin banner where Aalto is on rate up. S1 opens up some more extended combos and S3 is huge, not just in raw dps but because it's so fun seeing a bajillion green numbers and the louder sfx. It's also really good for concerto energy. I really hope I get some Aalto dupes soon. Really appreciate this video. Aalto's combo game has a ton of variety and is so much fun while also being stylish 😎
Additionally, I think he is cheaper to invest than the other gun characters. With his not so impactful passive skills (the one that guarantee a crit on his aim shot every 30 sec, and the one that recover stamina) you can simply just SKIP them. Put all the money and materials to main skills and bonus status. Gg ez. Big W.

The way you play is so stylish!!! Unfortunately my butter fingers always mess up positioning with him so I never look as slick 😭 and I also face super stamina issues... I also realised his mid air attacks only produce one mist bullet so I wonder if being able to generate more mist bullets balance out his basics lack of damage otherwise.
his s3 makes it so he releases 3 bullets unfortunately. The s3 does increase his damage by a lot, especially when jumpshooting. If you're playing on mobile yea it's hard to spam attack so quickly without making a mistake.
Hewwo :3 I gotten most of the combos I did, though idk if its a me problem, but I shoot in the mist portal, theres a delay of my shots passing and then splitting maybe 3 meters in front as the enemy is in between. If its a small nitpick that aint gonna stop my Aalto building :3
you can cancel monke after the first hit, as long as it hits. just swap to verina to get his buff then swap back to alto + verina is always airborne after her intro so u are already airborne for shots
Jinhsi and Yinlin have shown me just how important a second DPS can be. Time to bench Mortefi and build Aalto for old buddy Jiyan. It sucks to have to do a full rotation with Verona and Mortefi before Jiyan can do proper damage again. Aalto’s buff is more consistent for Jiyan ESPECIALLY when Mortefi is useless if Jiyan Ult isn’t up
yes your sub dps is very important. I should have added in my video that Aalto with Sanhua as sub dps is good for bosses and single target...but Aalto and Yinlin (or someone that does off field dps) is needed for large groups of enemies.

I have a question. If I do BA to create a mist, then followed by his skill which also create a mist, then shoot it through both of the Mist, will it have any difference compared to shoot through one mist?
unfortunately it doesnt stack through 2 mists. however, if you shoot through mist and through his liberation gate, those shots will receive a 10% damage increase. :)
does sanhua buff aalto's midair attacks? i assumed not as basics and heavies are distinct from one another, similar to how id imagine midair attacks are?
I am curious about the wording too I have seen an increase in damage when she uses her outro to aalto (without the echoes). Tried searching online but a lot of the websites refer to midair shots as part of his basic attacks.

Welp you must be doing something wrong with ur jiyan then, jiyan is absolutely the strongest unit in the game doing like 1.5x more than all character’s damage rn, alto’s dmg is nothing comparing to jiyan lol

I pulled for yinlin and her weapon and i didnt use her once because how low dmg she does even paired with calcharo lol encore with sanhua does more dmg and faster rotation.
c6 would be amazing if you are using macro's to heavy attack just like machine gun chixia. gonna wait for sometime tho since it's not an exploit/script but i think it's grey area, genshin never banned macros tho
Crap I should have mentioned it in the video. I pair him with Yinlin. She's great for handling the squishies while Aalto targets the harder monsters. 😆
I had an S0 for a long time before Yinlins banner and he was great. if sanhua is not properly built you might be able to use yinlin for off field dps to help with damage.
LOL you don't. At least, for now. It's pretty useless as for the time it takes to shoot the heavy...it's not much added damage to be worth it. However, they might add weapons or maybe echoes that might focus on adding more damage to heavy attack to make it viable. Or people can try to use echoes with all heavy attack damage bonus on substats...but I don't know if it's worth the time and materials to try. 😅

yes you'll need to position yourself so you are not too close to the enemy to cast your mist because they will walk through it

I ult and do damage but my Yinlin, with basically the SAME stats, out damages him DRASTICALLY with her skill
