He's good, but he has the lowest and most abysmal scaling [AUTO ATTACK] in the game. They gutted his basic attack for the sake of utility. Otherwise he would have been the most broken thing running around the game. His S3 turns his shot into a shotgun true, but 50% of his damage is split into 25% making it visibly appealing. but realistically your just dealing 50% of the dmg per shot. Which is... 1.5x a regular critical hit. added his base damage scaling from his gutted auto attack. The main charm of S3 is the Concerto gains from it turning him into a quick concerto drop after pulling off his combo fluidly. As for the auto attack calculation with S3. The calculation leads to a simplicity of him turning his shot to a normalized dmg and slightly weaker carry like chixia or mortefi which auto attack scaling and multiplier completely outstrips his... [Unfortunate.] But there's no denying how much fun he is... The sheer distance he creates and decoy makes him the perfect support for characters like chixia or yin-lin who is currently the only distance DPS characters in the game right now.
@@cookiewithlove2081 Yes his damage multipliers suck like crazy and his basic attack damage is terrible, but that's why a majority of the damage done is from jump shots and mist missiles. The devs really did screwed him over with useless sequence nodes, and his Forte/skill tree, but even with those flaws, he can still work as a main dps. If you're comparing him to other characters, yes the damage might not compare. However, if you're looking at him being able to defeat all of the content in the game, ie tower of adversity and dif VI holograms (Solo even), he is still amazing. Also, him being able to do so despite the flaws and having "less damage", I'd say it's impressive. Kind of like an Amber main demolishing the Spiral Abyss 12th floor.

Not me watching a guide video for a character I still haven't pulled. Seriously, I played his trial and loved him so much that I cursed myself. I've gotten so many copies of the other 2 rate up 4 stars and even a few non-rate ups, but not a single copy of Aalto. Please pray for me, I sorely need it!

Yup exactly! The game just came out so we still have lots to learn about different and creative ways to use a character's kit. @@a4arick106 yea i think that's where the sub dps's role, and buffs, are very important. Like for tower of adversity, my Aalto, although amazing, shines very bright when it comes to single target, but when there's a large group of enemies and a time constraint, I need an AOE sub dps to help.
my main advice for Aalto as a fellow main is ABS always be shooting you have a built in extra dodge with a taunt and even more mobility on your gates your biggest strength on Aalto is that you should have damn near zero dps downtime.
What's even more interesting is when he enters mistcloak dash, his next attack will be BA3 and you only need to attack once more to do BA4 and generate that mist. Similar concept. When swapping into him (not activating his intro skills), his BA3 automatically procs when there's a target nearby. Then you only need to attack one more time (BA4) to generate yet again another mist. Now I believed and while it may seem obvious to others already, activating his intro skills likely procs his BA4 because a mist is then generated after. So in essence, there's practically infinite ways to generate mist when his reso skill is on already short 6-sec cd if you have him at RC1. Found this on @dracgamingch and someone also commented about it. So I might as well share it here for fellow Aalto mains.

One thing I want to add, while it may seem that his inherent skill 1 and Resonance Chain 6 (RC-6) is useless, when PAIRED with Jiyan's outro skill (encourages the next resonator to do 2 Heavy Attacks within 8-sec window to inflict damage), then activating Feilian's echo skill to buff Aalto's heavy attack then his resonance liberation buffing the bullets passing before the 2 heavy attacks, I believe the damage is not to be underestimated since his RC-6 increases the dmg by 50% and if you're also using 5pc Sierra Gale echo set for Aalto then that's that. I think this is the most optimal rotation atm between Aalto and Jiyan when incorporating his heavy attack kit not to mention his heavy attack is guaranteed to crit every 30s and his Resonance Liberation (RC-6) also increases crit rate. CMIIW I have yet to check if it's possible to include in this rotation his resonance skill to taunt the enemy whilst increasing his ATK by 15% from RC-2, and the 25% aero buff for a short 6 sec from his RC-5 after mistcloak dash before doing 2 heavy attacks. Tldr; Ideal rotation within 8s upon swapping from Jiyan to RC-6 Aalto w/ Sierra gale set (+40% Aero DMG bonus) to maximize damage: Aalto's intro skill (mist is generated) > Mistcloak Dash (Aero DMG +25%) > Feilian's echo (Aero DMG +15%, Heavy Attack +12%) > Resonance Liberation (+10% ATK DMG, +8% crit rate)> Resonance Skill: Mist Avatar (ATK +15%) > 2 Heavy Attacks (+50% DMG increase, 1HA guaranteed to crit) > procs Jiyan's outro skill twice

7:05 you can check by checking your Resonator stats mid battle, it actually does update. I used this to test if I got the aero dmg bonus on the first or second hit of the gorilla echo. Just do a before-after test and make sure to reduce other variables.

Honestly I got him at S6 (by accident), so I thought, why not build him since i was given his unlocked form, but I still know nothing about his playstyle. I have thought that his playstyle is a quick switch of his skills and his quick movement, yet I still can't pull it off like you do. The jump shoot is a new inspiration to me on how to utilize his skills better. Your tips with the placement of his burst too is something I've taken note. Best regards from soon to be Aalto user.
Thanks for the guide. Is there a reason to do liberation before skill instead of vice versa, besides being slightly more energy efficient? In my limited testing I found it for comfortable to do skill then liberation, since it positions the gate closer to you so it’s easier to aim through. I haven’t built my Aalto up yet though so I haven’t really played enough to know his nuances.
The liberation give an attack bonus to shots fired through the liberation gate...I havent tested it...but I'm assuming the mist bullets going through the gate also receive that bonus. Ideally, you want to do echo, liberation, skill, jumpshot, dash through the mist, and cast skill again. (or cast skill again and then dash through the mist - just depends if the mist is still there when you finish jumpshotting). I hope this video helps!
Yasss AALTO LOVERS AND MAINS UNITE! He's so underrated. I cant wait for those same people that say that make an updated tierlist with Aalto now much higher lol. A D-TIER character shouldn't be able to kill high level holograms...so like...he can't be a D-tier since he can solo high level holograms! 😆

The nice thing is he's a standard 4 star so you'll eventually get copies of him when you make wishes. Plus, since there's not that many 4 stars on the roster...he'll get another rate up banner soon! :) For now, just enjoy him as is. It'll also get you used to his kit so that when you do have s3...you'll be tearin it up even more! 😆😆😆
As a Chixia main I think I found my 3rd dps hahah I have a leveled up 5* gun, he's already at sequence 5, and I already have a fully built Sanhua. I also think it would be fun to go zoomin with him in the overworld while Chixia's inferno rider is on CD
I need to see a calculation of his damage standing vs jumping. Ye it is faster than regular attack but not by much. Only valid point would be to use jump attacks if you don't end ur basic combo part 6 which is 179.73% at max rank vs 59.65 % air which is roughly 3 shots, which will be fast trades, but you dont generate mist with A6.
3 shots mid air?? LMAO you're not jumping high enough lol I can get about 10 shots in within 1 jump; sometimes 9 if I don't jump high enough. But let's maths: the total percentage of a basic combo is 341.35 and the total of midair shots assuming you can get 10 shots in one jump is 436.60. With how fast I shoot it's about the same time as a basic attack combo. Lets say if you have 100% crit rate and 100% crit damage : basic attack 341.35+100% =682.70%, 10 midair jumps 436.60+100%=873.20%. Let's say you have 150% crit damage: 341.35+150%=853.38% 436.60+150%=1091.50% 200% Crit Damage: 341.35+200%=1024.05% 436.60+200%=1309.80% The difference between both basic and midair attacks increases the higher the crit damage goes up. When you also consider that firing many shots within a short period of time, you have more possibility of it procing a crit. vs the amount of procs you might get on just a 5 shot combo. This notion is the main reason that midair jumping is the most effective. It's common sense in gambling or anything dealing with probability that if you have more rolls/chances/shots, you have a higher percentage of winning/proc-ing. I've also noticed now more aalto mains doing the same thing and posting it on youtube...and it's because it's more effective. Even without the math I can visually see a healthbar and enemy dying much faster with midair shots. Before I tried jumpshotting...fighting with just the basic combo was very slow. Anyway, you might not think it's very much but with Aalto, supposedly bring D-tier and the weakest character, he can use all the added damage he can get. Also, I'm not sure what you're on about A6...what's that? His attacks combo has only 5 shots: not6. 🤔 Anyway, if you don't think it's worth it, do you boo. Everyone can play the game the way they want to play and the characters they want to play. I'm just out here trying to help people that want to play Aalto that might be struggling with clearing harder content. If you don't even wanna try something that can possibly help you, then don't. 😆😉👍

Love playing him so much now that I’ve given him some TLC and built him. I’m still struggling to get the Static Mist pistol for him and still need to level his skills and get more wavebands. But it’s such a difference already
He's so fun to play! Yea he just gets better and better! You'll eventually get his c3 naturally by just wishing since there aren't that many 4 stars. Hopefully you can get the static mist soon! Leveling skills is so expensive and time consuming but definitely worth it!
Aalto's Heavy Atk Buff's arent useless they are just not for the way you play him almost all Characters have multiple ways you can play them the Heavy Atk Aalto is more for Burst / Swap Dps Teams ie you E then R followed by the 100% crit rate maximum Crit dmg scaled Heavy then swap to your sustain dps. Aalto's is cool af tho and doesn't deserve to be so low in tierlists just like a lot of other Characters everybody can kinda do their own thing except for maybe Lingyang who seriously needs some changes so he doesn't lose 80% of his dmg in Bossfights were he needs to dodge ruining his combo's. xD
ahh ic...yea, it ain't for me, but if people wanna do that they should! 😆 Once I've gotten to the point in wuwa like where I am with genshin, I would try to test out more off builds like the heavy attack one. Basically try n get echoes with as much heavy attack dmg bonus and see if it actually slaps. I love trying off meta builds...like currently I'm building a charge attack dps Gorou in Genshin. 😆

Yay I'm glad my video is getting people to try out Aalto! Just a note though, for difficult content, he is mostly a single target character...so you might want to pair him with a sub dps that can do AOE damage like Yinlin. :) I hope you have fun building him and playing him!

Great question! He's amazing on single target and also can demolish groups in the open world. However, since he does not have AOE, he'll either need to be able to kill the entire mob quickly with as much buffs as possible or you'll need to have a very well built sub dps that can deal with the smaller enemies with their AOE. For example, Yinlin would be able to do that off field AOE.

interesting. I didnt think about air attacks, my thought was the intended way to play was pow-pow-pow -> run behind enemy -> pow-pow-pow -> in endless loop. it seemed very functional but doing that with lock-on gave me motion sickness
Yea I think that's how most people have been playing him. Some people think it's fun and flashy so they keep playing him...while meta people play like that and find the damage to be underwhelming. Jump attacking as much as you can while doing the pow-pow-pow dash through mist greatly increases his damage per second output. :) Hope this guide helped you out!

I've been main Aalto from the begining, I did all difficult V solo with Aalto except for the giant monkey because it has resistance to the element. And only manage to kill in difficult VI the Heron boss... ofc i had to use food because their HP its huge at difficult VI. The most epic fight was fightning the Tempest V solo with Aalto, it took me like 3h lol. I have him at Sequence 6, but Heavy attack is useless AF, don't waste your time in it, also use his mid air attack after casting the liberation resonance. And try to mantain the buff that last 6 seconds after passing through the Mist. That's all, My main Aalto has 1.5k attack, 63.1% CR and 238% Crit dmg, all my echos are maxed except for a cost 3 which is at lvl 20. Btw try to get as substat % increase of Basic attack and %increase of resonance skill, mine has 18.7% in both and its pretty good, because you will be doing most dmg through your basic attack and your skill resonance.

Gun characters in this game are cool but they take a lot more effort to learn and invest in getting good results cuz they are 4 star so for now I put them on the back burner while waiting for 5-star Gunslinger Dante style cuz both Aalto and Chixia are not my type while Mortepi are purely Jiyan support I play PGR CN and know what a peak Gun wielder designed by Kuro could look like and I'm looking forward to future Wuwa
Grew to love the character as well (I prefer using the Japanese VO though; felt it was more emotionally impactful than the English track, but that's just me :V)-found him to be complex and solid in the antihero mold after finishing his story, but ngl, first impressions were negative lol I think it's the slick-backed hair and the swagger that was off-putting initially, only to realize by story's end this guy's a mensch. Happy to be wrong! Aalto's cool in my book.

Today was the 1st time I cleared the tempest memphis hologram and it was with him....if he was a 5 star he would be too overpowered cause he's better than the standard 5stars at s6
Yes CONGRATS! He's so good! I think a lot of people just didn't understand his kit well enough to put the time into building him properly, but once given the right investment...he's definitely 5 star material lol.
It's ok, much like all gacha games, building characters is slow since resources are limited. If you spend a week just focusing on just Aalto, you'll get him better much sooner!

lol Jump shots do not seem to work well for Chixia and Mortefi. I think JumpShots are specifically for Aalto since he's able to shoot super fast and deal way more damage than his standard basic attack...but the dev's didnt bother mentioning it anywhere in the game. 😆😅
I used to be a lingyang main cause i love him but was kinda coping with his damage then i saw your previous video and switched to aalto and I CAN FINALLY DO DAMAGE and i love myself a white haired boyfriend
haha he's so fun! Well I wouldnt say cheese exactly...Bosses are still pretty hard, can still get one shot if you dont have timing right, and you gotta deal as much damage to kill it before the timer ends. But yes, it definitely makes it easier to kill holograms lol. 😆
did u know u cant dodge when u near his ult it really is the only downside of him which is kinda big in hologram if u cant dodge as of dmg u can always make something works with good gear it just require more good echo to work..i use him still because hes fun but never in higher lvl hologram maybe
haha well the thing is you have to try not to be too close to the enemy when using his ult. The boss can just walk through it, and as you said, if you try to dodge while in the enemy's face and right next to your gate of quandry...then you'll get smacked lol. It's all about positioning, patience, and knowing where and when to use your liberation. The devs have made it clear that the game is a skill based game...so if you master the mechanics you can kill higher level holograms. I mean, I did, so can you! I'm glad you're having fun using him. I think you'll be able to do high level holograms and harder content with him the more and more you get better using him, especially with better echoes. 😁
Im trying to pull him and make it at least s3 but it always went to Yuanwu which is I think he's already s15 my gosh! I ended having Aalto and make him only s1. sad!
Aww Hopefully you'll get more of him since he's a standard 4 star. You'll get more copies eventually! I had S30 Yuanwu and like S50 Taoqi before i could get my Aalto to S6. And when I was trying to get S6 Mortefi...I have like an S200 Danjin. 😅😅
It depends on which part of the kit u like to use the most...but the best alternatives are Undying Flame for added skill dmg, thunderbolt also is reliable since you are shooting a lot anyway. Nova burst if you dash more 😆

@@CVGTigz one tip to save resources is to not spend any more if the first stat is not crit 💀 (If you wanna be super stingy) but as a gambler, you can only stop leveling after getting one bad stay As a super gambler don’t stop 💀👌

Hes weird because aalto really is our basic attack dps. If you look at hin like every other character you would never know to look at vasic attack. Every other skill scaling is pretty lack luster.
yea when i first got him on jiyan's banner, i wished a lot more hoping to get another copy (while also trying to get more copies of mortefi). Its just a bit sad that his 1st inherit skill is kinda useless since he rarely make use of heavy attack! Im also maining him on my alt acc with yinlin sub dps ! He is so fun to use especially if you mastered mist jumping 🤣

I got my first copy on Jiyan's banner. Although I was wishing on Jiyan's banner hoping to get R6 Mortefi (I ended up with R5 before it ended), I still only got the 1 copy of Aalto, all the while getting 2 copies of Jiyan and a lost 50/50 to Jianxin. When Yinlin's banner came out and I saw that Aalto had rate up...i wished as much as i could for Aalto. I didnt even want Yinlin. I was able to get Aalto to R6, but at the cost of 2 copies of Yinlin and another copy of Jianxin. I DO NOT recommend anyone doing what I did. I only do it because I whale on Genshin and now on Wuwa. 😅😆
EXACTLY! It's your game, play who you want! I also find tier lists to be misleading as most of the people creating them will have their favorites according to what they like in terms of damage and playstyle. Plus, the game hasn't really been out long enough for us to fully learn everyone's kits and tech that you wouldn't know until you've actually tried fully building and using their kit. I saw a streamer doing a tier list and they said they rated a person low but didnt even have that character leveled. Like, how would you know where that character stands if yours is Level 1?! Plus, if I've learned anything from Genshin, a character can come out and be not so great, but then a couple months later more characters artifacts and gear comes out and that character is like OP. LOL.
@@RHDYTstudio most likely a bug. I also notice when I'm too close to an enemy and they do like a jump/pounce attack...they end up above me hitting an invisible ceiling and they're up there for a while. lol.

I wouldn't judge based on 4 star. All of the units right now have potential to be amazing. For example Danjin does incredible damage and she's a 4 atar
Lol yea I got Jiyan and built him really good, but the playstyle got boring because it was mostly just holding down his attack with his liberation, and a bunch of plunging. Luckily we can give Aalto all of his Echoes lol. Also, Jiyan is just there now as eye candy and trophy husbando.
yes unfortunately it took me 2 Yinlins and 1 Jianxin to get him to c6. lol He's a standard 4 star though, so you'll naturally get him to c6 eventually whenever you wish on any banner. I hope you get him many many times soon! 😆
OOO i wanna try making an all gun team. Since they're shooters...might not need a healer lol 🤔 Especially in the open world. Also, Mortefi is great! I was trying to get him to S6 but only managed to get him to S5. He's still great even at S0. I just like airjumping with Aalto more...it feels like it's something meant for Aalto and not for Mortefi.

He's good, but he has the lowest and most abysmal scaling [AUTO ATTACK] in the game.
They gutted his basic attack for the sake of utility.
Otherwise he would have been the most broken thing running around the game.
His S3 turns his shot into a shotgun true, but 50% of his damage is split into 25% making it visibly appealing.
but realistically your just dealing 50% of the dmg per shot. Which is... 1.5x a regular critical hit. added his base damage scaling from his gutted auto attack.
The main charm of S3 is the Concerto gains from it turning him into a quick concerto drop after pulling off his combo fluidly.
As for the auto attack calculation with S3.
The calculation leads to a simplicity of him turning his shot to a normalized dmg and slightly weaker carry like chixia or mortefi which auto attack scaling and multiplier completely outstrips his... [Unfortunate.]
But there's no denying how much fun he is...
The sheer distance he creates and decoy makes him the perfect support for characters like chixia or yin-lin who is currently the only distance DPS characters in the game right now.
@@cookiewithlove2081 Yes his damage multipliers suck like crazy and his basic attack damage is terrible, but that's why a majority of the damage done is from jump shots and mist missiles. The devs really did screwed him over with useless sequence nodes, and his Forte/skill tree, but even with those flaws, he can still work as a main dps. If you're comparing him to other characters, yes the damage might not compare. However, if you're looking at him being able to defeat all of the content in the game, ie tower of adversity and dif VI holograms (Solo even), he is still amazing. Also, him being able to do so despite the flaws and having "less damage", I'd say it's impressive. Kind of like an Amber main demolishing the Spiral Abyss 12th floor.

Not me watching a guide video for a character I still haven't pulled. Seriously, I played his trial and loved him so much that I cursed myself. I've gotten so many copies of the other 2 rate up 4 stars and even a few non-rate ups, but not a single copy of Aalto. Please pray for me, I sorely need it!

Yup exactly! The game just came out so we still have lots to learn about different and creative ways to use a character's kit. @@a4arick106 yea i think that's where the sub dps's role, and buffs, are very important. Like for tower of adversity, my Aalto, although amazing, shines very bright when it comes to single target, but when there's a large group of enemies and a time constraint, I need an AOE sub dps to help.
my main advice for Aalto as a fellow main is ABS always be shooting you have a built in extra dodge with a taunt and even more mobility on your gates your biggest strength on Aalto is that you should have damn near zero dps downtime.

What's even more interesting is when he enters mistcloak dash, his next attack will be BA3 and you only need to attack once more to do BA4 and generate that mist.
Similar concept. When swapping into him (not activating his intro skills), his BA3 automatically procs when there's a target nearby. Then you only need to attack one more time (BA4) to generate yet again another mist.
Now I believed and while it may seem obvious to others already, activating his intro skills likely procs his BA4 because a mist is then generated after.
So in essence, there's practically infinite ways to generate mist when his reso skill is on already short 6-sec cd if you have him at RC1.
Found this on @dracgamingch and someone also commented about it. So I might as well share it here for fellow Aalto mains.

One thing I want to add, while it may seem that his inherent skill 1 and Resonance Chain 6 (RC-6) is useless, when PAIRED with Jiyan's outro skill (encourages the next resonator to do 2 Heavy Attacks within 8-sec window to inflict damage), then activating Feilian's echo skill to buff Aalto's heavy attack then his resonance liberation buffing the bullets passing before the 2 heavy attacks, I believe the damage is not to be underestimated since his RC-6 increases the dmg by 50% and if you're also using 5pc Sierra Gale echo set for Aalto then that's that.
I think this is the most optimal rotation atm between Aalto and Jiyan when incorporating his heavy attack kit not to mention his heavy attack is guaranteed to crit every 30s and his Resonance Liberation (RC-6) also increases crit rate. CMIIW
I have yet to check if it's possible to include in this rotation his resonance skill to taunt the enemy whilst increasing his ATK by 15% from RC-2, and the 25% aero buff for a short 6 sec from his RC-5 after mistcloak dash before doing 2 heavy attacks.
Tldr; Ideal rotation within 8s upon swapping from Jiyan to RC-6 Aalto w/ Sierra gale set (+40% Aero DMG bonus) to maximize damage:
Aalto's intro skill (mist is generated) > Mistcloak Dash (Aero DMG +25%) > Feilian's echo (Aero DMG +15%, Heavy Attack +12%) > Resonance Liberation (+10% ATK DMG, +8% crit rate)> Resonance Skill: Mist Avatar (ATK +15%) > 2 Heavy Attacks (+50% DMG increase, 1HA guaranteed to crit) > procs Jiyan's outro skill twice

I used this to test if I got the aero dmg bonus on the first or second hit of the gorilla echo. Just do a before-after test and make sure to reduce other variables.

Honestly I got him at S6 (by accident), so I thought, why not build him since i was given his unlocked form, but I still know nothing about his playstyle. I have thought that his playstyle is a quick switch of his skills and his quick movement, yet I still can't pull it off like you do. Thanks for the guide. Is there a reason to do liberation before skill instead of vice versa, besides being slightly more energy efficient? In my limited testing I found it for comfortable to do skill then liberation, since it positions the gate closer to you so it’s easier to aim through. I haven’t built my Aalto up yet though so I haven’t really played enough to know his nuances.
The liberation give an attack bonus to shots fired through the liberation gate...I havent tested it...but I'm assuming the mist bullets going through the gate also receive that bonus. Ideally, you want to do echo, liberation, skill, jumpshot, dash through the mist, and cast skill again. (or cast skill again and then dash through the mist - just depends if the mist is still there when you finish jumpshotting). I hope this video helps!

The nice thing is he's a standard 4 star so you'll eventually get copies of him when you make wishes. Plus, since there's not that many 4 stars on the roster...he'll get another rate up banner soon! :) For now, just enjoy him as is. It'll also get you used to his kit so that when you do have s3...you'll be tearin it up even more! 😆😆😆

As a Chixia main I think I found my 3rd dps hahah I have a leveled up 5* gun, he's already at sequence 5, and I already have a fully built Sanhua. I also think it would be fun to go zoomin with him in the overworld while Chixia's inferno rider is on CD
yaaaay! Yes! I forgot to mention that he's great in exploring and traversing the overworld!
I need to see a calculation of his damage standing vs jumping. Ye it is faster than regular attack but not by much. Only valid point would be to use jump attacks if you don't end ur basic combo part 6 which is 179.73% at max rank vs 59.65 % air which is roughly 3 shots, which will be fast trades, but you dont generate mist with A6.
3 shots mid air?? LMAO you're not jumping high enough lol I can get about 10 shots in within 1 jump; sometimes 9 if I don't jump high enough. But let's maths: the total percentage of a basic combo is 341.35 and the total of midair shots assuming you can get 10 shots in one jump is 436.60. With how fast I shoot it's about the same time as a basic attack combo. Lets say if you have 100% crit rate and 100% crit damage : basic attack 341.35+100% =682.70%, 10 midair jumps 436.60+100%=873.20%.
Let's say you have 150% crit damage: 341.35+150%=853.38%
436.60+150%=1091.50%
200% Crit Damage:
341.35+200%=1024.05%
436.60+200%=1309.80%
The difference between both basic and midair attacks increases the higher the crit damage goes up. When you also consider that firing many shots within a short period of time, you have more possibility of it procing a crit. vs the amount of procs you might get on just a 5 shot combo. This notion is the main reason that midair jumping is the most effective. It's common sense in gambling or anything dealing with probability that if you have more rolls/chances/shots, you have a higher percentage of winning/proc-ing. I've also noticed now more aalto mains doing the same thing and posting it on youtube...and it's because it's more effective.
Even without the math I can visually see a healthbar and enemy dying much faster with midair shots. Before I tried jumpshotting...fighting with just the basic combo was very slow. Anyway, you might not think it's very much but with Aalto, supposedly bring D-tier and the weakest character, he can use all the added damage he can get. Also, I'm not sure what you're on about A6...what's that? His attacks combo has only 5 shots: not6. 🤔
Anyway, if you don't think it's worth it, do you boo. Everyone can play the game the way they want to play and the characters they want to play. I'm just out here trying to help people that want to play Aalto that might be struggling with clearing harder content. If you don't even wanna try something that can possibly help you, then don't. 😆😉👍

Love playing him so much now that I’ve given him some TLC and built him.
I’m still struggling to get the Static Mist pistol for him and still need to level his skills and get more wavebands.
But it’s such a difference already
He's so fun to play! Yea he just gets better and better! You'll eventually get his c3 naturally by just wishing since there aren't that many 4 stars. Hopefully you can get the static mist soon! Leveling skills is so expensive and time consuming but definitely worth it!

Aalto's Heavy Atk Buff's arent useless they are just not for the way you play him almost all Characters have multiple ways you can play them the Heavy Atk Aalto is more for Burst / Swap Dps Teams ie you E then R followed by the 100% crit rate maximum Crit dmg scaled Heavy then swap to your sustain dps.
Aalto's is cool af tho and doesn't deserve to be so low in tierlists just like a lot of other Characters everybody can kinda do their own thing except for maybe Lingyang who seriously needs some changes so he doesn't lose 80% of his dmg in Bossfights were he needs to dodge ruining his combo's. xD
ahh ic...yea, it ain't for me, but if people wanna do that they should! 😆 Once I've gotten to the point in wuwa like where I am with genshin, I would try to test out more off builds like the heavy attack one. Basically try n get echoes with as much heavy attack dmg bonus and see if it actually slaps. I love trying off meta builds...like currently I'm building a charge attack dps Gorou in Genshin. 😆

Great question! He's amazing on single target and also can demolish groups in the open world. However, since he does not have AOE, he'll either need to be able to kill the entire mob quickly with as much buffs as possible or you'll need to have a very well built sub dps that can deal with the smaller enemies with their AOE. For example, Yinlin would be able to do that off field AOE.

interesting. I didnt think about air attacks, my thought was the intended way to play was pow-pow-pow -> run behind enemy -> pow-pow-pow -> in endless loop. it seemed very functional but doing that with lock-on gave me motion sickness
Yea I think that's how most people have been playing him. Some people think it's fun and flashy so they keep playing him...while meta people play like that and find the damage to be underwhelming. Jump attacking as much as you can while doing the pow-pow-pow dash through mist greatly increases his damage per second output. :) Hope this guide helped you out!

I've been main Aalto from the begining, I did all difficult V solo with Aalto except for the giant monkey because it has resistance to the element. And only manage to kill in difficult VI the Heron boss... ofc i had to use food because their HP its huge at difficult VI.
The most epic fight was fightning the Tempest V solo with Aalto, it took me like 3h lol.
I have him at Sequence 6, but Heavy attack is useless AF, don't waste your time in it, also use his mid air attack after casting the liberation resonance. And try to mantain the buff that last 6 seconds after passing through the Mist.
That's all, My main Aalto has 1.5k attack, 63.1% CR and 238% Crit dmg, all my echos are maxed except for a cost 3 which is at lvl 20.
Btw try to get as substat % increase of Basic attack and %increase of resonance skill, mine has 18.7% in both and its pretty good, because you will be doing most dmg through your basic attack and your skill resonance.

Gun characters in this game are cool but they take a lot more effort to learn and invest in getting good results cuz they are 4 star so for now I put them on the back burner while waiting for 5-star Gunslinger Dante style cuz both Aalto and Chixia are not my type while Mortepi are purely Jiyan support

Grew to love the character as well (I prefer using the Japanese VO though; felt it was more emotionally impactful than the English track, but that's just me :V)-found him to be complex and solid in the antihero mold after finishing his story, but ngl, first impressions were negative lol I think it's the slick-backed hair and the swagger that was off-putting initially, only to realize by story's end this guy's a mensch. Happy to be wrong! Aalto's cool in my book.

It's ok, much like all gacha games, building characters is slow since resources are limited. If you spend a week just focusing on just Aalto, you'll get him better much sooner!

lol Jump shots do not seem to work well for Chixia and Mortefi. I think JumpShots are specifically for Aalto since he's able to shoot super fast and deal way more damage than his standard basic attack...but the dev's didnt bother mentioning it anywhere in the game. 😆😅
I used to be a lingyang main cause i love him but was kinda coping with his damage then i saw your previous video and switched to aalto and I CAN FINALLY DO DAMAGE and i love myself a white haired boyfriend

He fun to use..he can solo cheese heron 6...and s3 needed tbh..if don't have it don't yet invest that his super kit with jump shooting
haha he's so fun! Well I wouldnt say cheese exactly...Bosses are still pretty hard, can still get one shot if you dont have timing right, and you gotta deal as much damage to kill it before the timer ends. But yes, it definitely makes it easier to kill holograms lol. 😆
did u know u cant dodge when u near his ult it really is the only downside of him which is kinda big in hologram if u cant dodge as of dmg u can always make something works with good gear it just require more good echo to work..i use him still because hes fun but never in higher lvl hologram maybe
haha well the thing is you have to try not to be too close to the enemy when using his ult. The boss can just walk through it, and as you said, if you try to dodge while in the enemy's face and right next to your gate of quandry...then you'll get smacked lol. It's all about positioning, patience, and knowing where and when to use your liberation. The devs have made it clear that the game is a skill based game...so if you master the mechanics you can kill higher level holograms. I mean, I did, so can you! I'm glad you're having fun using him. I think you'll be able to do high level holograms and harder content with him the more and more you get better using him, especially with better echoes. 😁
when I was pulling for yinlin i got like 10 Aalto copies, so I guess it's time to build him

Im trying to pull him and make it at least s3 but it always went to Yuanwu which is I think he's already s15 my gosh! I ended having Aalto and make him only s1. sad!
Aww Hopefully you'll get more of him since he's a standard 4 star. You'll get more copies eventually! I had S30 Yuanwu and like S50 Taoqi before i could get my Aalto to S6. And when I was trying to get S6 Mortefi...I have like an S200 Danjin. 😅😅

It depends on which part of the kit u like to use the most...but the best alternatives are Undying Flame for added skill dmg, thunderbolt also is reliable since you are shooting a lot anyway. Nova burst if you dash more 😆
i wanna try playing him onfield too so any option for main dps role i guess >< im guessing thats the thunderbolt then? i have him on undying flame right now, is that okay for quickswap with him?

what do you mean about the hard attacks. you might not be lifting your finger high enough to just shoot shoot shoot. Or you might be pressing too hard. 🤔

Hes weird because aalto really is our basic attack dps. If you look at hin like every other character you would never know to look at vasic attack. Every other skill scaling is pretty lack luster.

yea when i first got him on jiyan's banner, i wished a lot more hoping to get another copy (while also trying to get more copies of mortefi). I didnt get anymore on jiyans, but finally got more on Yinlins. I hope you get him! I'm sure you will eventually because he's a standard 4 star...and hopefully soon! Goodluck on your pulls!
Its just a bit sad that his 1st inherit skill is kinda useless since he rarely make use of heavy attack! Im also maining him on my alt acc with yinlin sub dps ! He is so fun to use especially if you mastered mist jumping 🤣

How u get many copies of Alto?
I got my first copy on Jiyan's banner. Although I was wishing on Jiyan's banner hoping to get R6 Mortefi (I ended up with R5 before it ended), I still only got the 1 copy of Aalto, all the while getting 2 copies of Jiyan and a lost 50/50 to Jianxin.
When Yinlin's banner came out and I saw that Aalto had rate up...i wished as much as i could for Aalto. I didnt even want Yinlin. I was able to get Aalto to R6, but at the cost of 2 copies of Yinlin and another copy of Jianxin. I DO NOT recommend anyone doing what I did. I only do it because I whale on Genshin and now on Wuwa. 😅😆
I'm f2p and I have Aalto at c3, I really want c4 but I'm at 65 pity so I won't risk it. maybe I'll get him without rate up next banner 😅

EXACTLY! It's your game, play who you want! I also find tier lists to be misleading as most of the people creating them will have their favorites according to what they like in terms of damage and playstyle. Plus, the game hasn't really been out long enough for us to fully learn everyone's kits and tech that you wouldn't know until you've actually tried fully building and using their kit. I saw a streamer doing a tier list and they said they rated a person low but didnt even have that character leveled. Like, how would you know where that character stands if yours is Level 1?! Plus, if I've learned anything from Genshin, a character can come out and be not so great, but then a couple months later more characters artifacts and gear comes out and that character is like OP. LOL.

I have not...but i did notice when I'm in the enemy's face and casting mist bullets, sometimes they fly away and dont hit the enemy .

@@RHDYTstudio most likely a bug. I also notice when I'm too close to an enemy and they do like a jump/pounce attack...they end up above me hitting an invisible ceiling and they're up there for a while. lol.
@@CVGTigz I haven't experienced that one but I sometimes fight enemies inside terrain and only plunge attack can hit them

I wouldn't judge based on 4 star. All of the units right now have potential to be amazing. For example Danjin does incredible damage and she's a 4 atar

Lol yea I got Jiyan and built him really good, but the playstyle got boring because it was mostly just holding down his attack with his liberation, and a bunch of plunging. Luckily we can give Aalto all of his Echoes lol. Also, Jiyan is just there now as eye candy and trophy husbando.

yes unfortunately it took me 2 Yinlins and 1 Jianxin to get him to c6. lol He's a standard 4 star though, so you'll naturally get him to c6 eventually whenever you wish on any banner. I hope you get him many many times soon! 😆

OOO i wanna try making an all gun team. Since they're shooters...might not need a healer lol 🤔 Especially in the open world. Also, Mortefi is great! I was trying to get him to S6 but only managed to get him to S5. He's still great even at S0. I just like airjumping with Aalto more...it feels like it's something meant for Aalto and not for Mortefi.

Congrats! Yah that's the way to go. I had leveled Jiyan at first but then decided to go Aalto main...I put all my focus on building him before everyone else. Took a while but totally worth it!
