Actually, I talked with another content creator, Maygi, who let me know that there’s another combo that has been a lot easier for me. It fits in 3 E’s in exchange for removing one chain of 4A’s. It’s: R -> E -> 4A / dash cancel -> 1A -> E -> 4A / dash cancel -> 1A -> E -> Hold
I’m Ngl I’m not sure abt the damage difference, but I think it’s incredibly hard nonetheless to execute any combo perfectly, as you mentioned in the video

@@nightycross5706hey congrats on C1, to my knowledge leveling the ultimate doesn’t actually lengthen its duration. I know it’s so so hard, which part do you think you’re struggling with? For me it’s timing the dash cancel after her fourth hit, but idk if that’s the same for u
I have the opposite issue, I'm able to land the combo so consistently that it's not even close to frame perfect. Which might mean I'm missing something
@@meebeepup Thanks for your reply. Finally, I understood that cancelling the last move of the basic combo is truly necessary. But most of the time I have to do only one basic combo because some dodge or hit, so I can use the forte inside the ultimate window.
Right now, I'm struggling because even having the team builded, my Jianxin/Danjin/HavocRover is much more versatile and powerful.

Just a tip for people aren't sure sometimes when they need to heavy attack after getting hit.
In a normal rotation after res liberation, you get to use 3 res skills and 2 NA strings. When you press res skill as soon you enter burst mode, you can use the CD as a timer to know how long you are in burst. The skill is 4s in burst mode.The first skill use means 10-9secs remaining, 2nd means 6-5ses and 3rd means 2-1sec.
I say this cause sometimes when we get interrupted, we panic heavy attack because we think we gonna run out of time and miss the optimal window to use the heavy attack. Of course, this only works if you are interrupted while the skill is on cooldown, but i still hope it helps some of you.

When you hold heavy attack while you have 1s left on the ulti, does the heavy attack get snapshotted? Even if you swap cancel?

use mortefi to test that and see if her DOT in the heavy goes down

This is what I love about WuWa's combat, all the craziest, coolest and flashiest stuff players can do are not fully hidden behind how much you spent on the character, but instead most of it depends on how good you are at playing and knowing the intricacies of the combat system. I feel like this game could only become so much better as time passes by

I love that I can go from Encore + Sanhua swaps with splashes of Baizhi for crazy swap cancel techs
or I could just solo bosses as Danchi hovering at 1% of my health.
What's crazier? Both feel just as good to play and are just as effective. It's the first gatcha game ever where I blew through the released content within the first few days of launch. Often I'll tire out mid way and come back in the next big patch but this time I was just having so much fun with the exploration and combat, next thing I knew I was done with the current content (story wise).
Encore was my first pull off Jiyans banner and have been using nothing but her with Sanhua on one team and Danchi + Rover (Havoc) in another team.
Swapping is really good in this game... I've never felt a millisecond where my character pauses after swap before I get to move again.
i have an issue with baizu where if she swaps in without an intro skill she takes a second to summon the botan thing. I'll try to call her in and use the aoe basic skill to heal and she won't recognize the prompt cause she summons instead.

@@AIejam I wouldn't say its part of her kit so much as its a quirk of her fighting style. She relies on a summons so her reaction time coming out of a switch is slow. It still seems like a glitch since she doesn't log the input and simply use the skill after she summons instead she just ignores the prompt entirely. When you intro to her she pops out with the summons active I'm not sure why it is that when you switch to her without the skill she suddenly needs to re-summon him every switch. When i switch to a melee character i don't need to wait for them to draw their weapons.
@@MrArrow54 thats why i feel that she is worse than verina by a sizeable margin. With verina at least when she swaps in without intro, it starts her off at the 3rd basic atk so you can just atk twice more to get the 5th atk forte gauge. or you can just skill or echo before swappin back to encore in time for the e. But with baizhi, the end lag and active frames are horrendous. Can't even get the turtle echo or a skill off in time
@@weatherinme6882 ya her quick swap and cancel swap potential sucks. And the lag makes her bad to quickly jump in pop a heal and switch out. Im hoping we get a better second option for healer cause the drop from verina to baizu is steep.

@ShiemonM yeah I played genshin for years and have several maxed out teams on my account and never got 2 5 stars on the same 10 pull. My first 10 pull on the 5 star selector banner and I get 2 five stars that are actually quite good. Felt great hahaha

@milkxv yeah I'm not sure. I have gotten 2 more 5 stars to include jiyan and the guarantee pull 10 before pity. Nit bad but the rates definitely calmed down after than first pull

@@nonessss2810 Depends whether you have Verina or don't want to use Baizhi, but Jianxin is definitely a hybrid sub dps, you use her ULT for pulling/Extra Damage and change to main dps if Outro/Intro is avail. then blast the enemy with your main DPS Ult especially better if the main dps is heavily reliant on their ULT for big damage aka Calcharo,Rover.
@@karashuun1083 well the good thing about this game is you can switch off echos and weapons mid tower run so you can swap off ur echos from ur sub dps and support since all sub dps and supports use the same echo sets so you really only need to built 2-3 sets for the dmg dealers
The only nerf I’ll accept is for Encore to shut the hell up every time you sprint. She’s 10 times louder than everyone else. Massive damage to my ears
just use another character to walk around, lol. You can swap to her to use the infernal rider than swap her out.

I love watching games like this evolve over time. In this case, it's been fun for people to realize that Encore isn't bad because of the long charge time of her heavy attack. If anything, it's that charge time that makes her so viable in this swapping strat. Great video.

Yep i was thinking about that cause if Encore enters after Sanhuas outro, use E and swap again to Sanhua, she will loose the outros buff, right?
Maybe the combo is making the first swap before Sanhua charged her outro making the second swap gives the buff to Encore

with encore you exchange twice I cast the tree's skill resonance act at the same time and you forget to use the eco it do a lot of damages

Confused by your team recoomendations. You show Yangyang with Jianxin, but then say Sanhua is her best team, but don't mention the 3rd member? Also, why does Prydwen say Encore's best team is Havok Rover and Jianxin?
Yangyang is great sub-dps support during the mob stage in ToA, it makes the rotation far easier because of her energy regen outro and also a great gatherer
Got Encore and jiyan at the same ten pull. Got Jiyan’s weapon and got Yinlin’s weapon just recently. Maxed both of them.. but oh boy… while jiyan does do insane damage… ENCORE does GODLY DAMAGE. idk why this tierlist content creators put her in “B” tier. sheeeesh

The swap cancel is very effective for Encore.
She haunted me 4 times in 3 of my rerolling account. The 4th account, she came to my begginer banner THEN the Jiyan banner too, AND dragged Jiyan home with her 😅

Like it be said in real life its "Dojo techniques, not for real fight".
I love the theory crafting and all but here we are not in Genshin where many fights are full of slow enemies and ULT spam strat is enough.
There is too much rampage bosses in this game for that kinds of complex and so amazing rotations but extremely hard to achieve. You need chameleon eyes and octopus fingers at least and a chip in your brain for even in some elites fights.
I don't even mention playing on phone ...
But it's cool to see that is possible, I will see what do I can to do with it.

You would always almost prioritize dodging/parrying the mechanics for boss enemies, otherwise you get punished/die if you are underleveled. leaving less time for dps window. executing the full combo during shield break would be the typical gameplay, unless you have memorized the boss patterns knowing where the full combo can be executed on a case-to-case basis
How much exactly can the swap in character do in between her skill?
I just started practicing, but so far I'm always too late for her second part of her skill.

her skill timing is quite tight, you're possibly only getting most char intro or skill/echo and not both of them

As always, it depends. In the example shown in the video, absolutely yes. He was hitting like 5 enemies so that's like 5x more damage. Giving up grouping for buffs would probably be around +50% to 1 or 2 enemies. Bring outro buffs vs bosses and grouping vs mobs.
Am I getting something wrong here? The rotation at the end doesn't feel *close* to frame perfect. I've been doing it consistently.

Yes but Sanhua is like Bennett, you want her in multiple places so if you can manage a team with her and one without her then you're doing fine.

Looking at other dps, Ling Yang 20k, Calcharo 22k, Jiyan 25k and then she comes at 29.5k.
Its funny because everyone who has been following the game since tech test (3 million nuke) can tell you she was much stronger than that and outright game breaking.
She kept getting nerf each itteration, tech test-cbt1-cbt2-release, and still ended up so strong lol.
can someone confirm if Encore forte charge explosion snapshot or not? it counts as liberation damage, so if i use Jianxin outro (liberation dmg boost), does the buff stick if i swap off encore during the charge?
my encore with 2 Duplicate or C2 spamming ulti i pair with Rover Spectro ER build quite fun to swap 😂

Been absolutely loving playing Lingyang since day 1 and committed to him because of how much he grew on me, despite all the meta nerds saying he was the worst dps. I remained true to my heart and now I'm glad he's getting the recognition that he deserved.
Now if only they could FIX their goddamn game then I'd be more willing to put more hours into this, Instead we got lag/stutter issues everywhere, music audio keeps disappearing 5mins after log in, puzzles getting bugged and so on.

3:30 if i get my sanhua intro attack, i can do that, E, and timed attack before i go back for 2nd encore E... if i do it right, sometimes im late and timing can be hard. also i hear every1 talking about "encore levitate mechanic" but no1 is explaining it :|
