But think about it, Illustrous razor is Calcharo's best weapon that buffs liberation dmg right? And thundering Mephis also buff liberation dmg right? So if you use them both they will stack together.
Do you lose your buffs from sanhua or yinlin whenever you switch to another character before the duration ends? Because if yes, is it still worth switching in between every single slam attack form the ult or do you get more dps from keeping the buff and only switching on the last hit?
yes you will lose the outro skill buff from direct buffer (sanhua or yinlin) if you switch character. And there is no benefit to do swap cancelling after outro skill.
This was my team from the start. I like sanhua's outro skill paired with verina's damage deepen. Since sanhua don't need to stay too long until her outro is available. If I get the buff, I will switch to calcharo immediately. My rotation is Verina > Sanhua > Calcharo since verina apply damage buff to ALL party but sanhua's only apply to the next one which will be calcharo. Sanhua having moonlit set (when using outro skill add damage% to next chara) is really good. :D Now, if I alr get Yinlin, I will use sanhua for my Linyang + Baizhi for full ice comp.
My go-to burst combo is the double dunk with Calcharo heavy and Jianxin monkey. When they double slam on the same enemy, it's so satisfying. I need a third dunking character. The closest I have so far is Baizhi's intro where she slams her pet down to the ground
I haven't seen much of this video, but what I can tell you is that these optimal combos require constant swaps (though I do not expect the majority of the community to do these over the top quickswaps). The best reason to go for 5pc attack is for having generic sets to share with your characters because echo exp is a massive drought that people underestimate. And also the Mech animation is instant which is a real foolproof way to not lose DPS since I imagine the majority of people aren't canceling echos. The echo exp is massive point though, at the end of the day, I think we will simply outgear this game's difficulty by simply being fully built, so why not take some echo damage loss on the chin and focus on building as many characters to have fun instead of full specific echos to hyperfixate a few units. Especially since if you aren't aware..their Tower (Abyss/MoC) allows you to share gear with everyone.
@@Ser-- I do know how to echo swap but I still think the 5 pc attack set is better because main dps character will be out longer meaning it will get the atk up over time, but idk since Prydwen says 5pc atk if better than 5pc electric. I don’t know which set to build for because I will be building every character and I don’t need to swap echos in tower.
@@Ser-- You say that echo exp is scarce and in the same comment tell him to go for 5pc attack. Way to waste your resources on a subpar set. Keep in mind you'll share your "dps set pieces" with all dps units of the same element for the longest time (even some hybrids units can benefit from multiple echoes) and it'll do better than the Attack one.
People forget to mention that even if it's true that the atk set is "generalist" you still will need two 3 cost echoes for every element and we know how difficult is to get the right 3 cost element. Also: again, you need the 3 cost elemental pieces since you don't havve access to 2x 4 cost crit echoes and that's way easier to farm for now (4-4-1-1-1). If the atk set had another calamity level echo it would be perfect as a generalist set to start the game but as of now it's difficult to build. Most people will simply use 4-4 until later unless they farm A LOT and they are lucky
Prydwen just says the 5 pc attack set does more dmg than the 5 pc electric set. Do u think that’s true or no? Because they said that they re tested the atk set echo and found it to do more dmg than electric set even with swapping. Tbh the passive for the attack set stacks every 1.5 secs which is pretty fast imo but idk how they calculate their dmg
I'm struggling to ever get 3 dead messengers during the liberation window - I'm not dodging, swapping, or getting hit. Do you know why this might be? Maybe a ping issue? (I'm on 200ms)
Yes. The Liberation problem is there because of high ping, there is a video showing cal tutorial on low vs high ping, the problem is, after the first Death Messenger, the N2 misses to add a stack causing you needing more sequence to add to the last stack before you can do your 2nd Death Messenger, then causing you running out of time before the 3rd, you need to delay before N2, so that the last slash of N5 fills up exactly 5 stacks.
@@Sealbeats basic attack. This is talking about the combo in his ULT mode, I can do 3 Death Messenger with for example, quickly dodging after N1, then press N2. (N being basic attack). The timing is REALLY tight, as it fails sometimes...
@@jerrychen3428 It's from Ve1tedRose, "Calcaro Trial, low ping" (or high), the video itself doesn't show the solution. And it turns out I was actually cancelling N2 during the quick dash... (I gain stack during the dash and the one before last sequence, somehow fills the last stack...) you need to try it out yourself to see.
You see that circle in the bottom left side? When that circle is full, your outro skill and (usually) intro skills are charged. The outro skill usually gives the next character buffs and the intro skill usually does some damage upon being switched in
Hi just started today and im aiming for Calcharo and Yinlin + verina combos! I got very lucky and got Calcharo, Verina, jianxin, Sanhua and MortefiS2. Should I keep Sanshua, Juanxin or Mortefi, im kinda confused... @.@
In case you guys thought this is hard, do keep in mind that you can use transformative echo's animation cancel, while echo dashes in air (dreamless for example), to find yourself immediatly in air with next character, for free plunge attack 😂😂
Hello just a question would love if somebody responded. I play calcharo often and built him quite a lot but since Jinshi is in the game now with her new weapon Ages of harvest and I dont want to build Jinshi so thats why I am asking: Should I try to get the Lustrous razor or Ages of harvest for calcharo? Which one is more worth it investing in?
Lust Razor BIS until better Broadblade with Crit comes along, Jinhsi weapon is good for her due to the unique trait it has, Lustruous razor is also very good trait for Kakarot himself, doesnt matter which weapon both have their good sides but Lustrous better for now
The whole point of me wanting Yinlin was because of the duo switching with Calcharo. If they don't really work well together I might just skip this whole patch.
@@joby419Still work. But you cant play like you used to in beta. Calcharo gets the buff but by the time you return to Yinlin, the buff is over. In the end Yinlin is like a better Sanhua for Calcharo cuz Yinlin's ult deals a lot of burst damage then swap back to Calcharo to just go berserk. Honestly i was disappointed aswell at first but i realized that the beta ver was WAY too strong since we wont be underleveled for too long. In the released ver we can reach max level characters soon.
heya thanks for the great video! i have a question, i can't seem to get the third HA in his Liberation window somehow, do you have any idea what i'm doing wrong?
Thanks for this! Whats the best for sub dps between sanhua s0 and mortefi s6? Also If you could do a jianxin build it will be great! I see so many different type of build for her I’m lost
For jianxin, if you are using her as a hybrid support for her shield withverina, I’d use lingering tunes for the extra damage. If you are using her without verina, I’d go for the healing set and use a healing echo to get a damage buff.
Is the normal attacks even necessary at this point? It doesn't really contribute that much aside from aesthetics, yes the damage output will be higher since you're doing more attacks but we could instead use that time to utilize and swap to other characters, build up energy, concerto, etc. Not to mention you'd have to dodge around which you'll likely not be able to complete the AEAEAAEH, while swapping around will give you more iFrames. I personally just use this combo: EEE TCancel Hold Q(Flautist), switch to Verina, Q(Bell-borne) Ult, switch to Mortefi, Ult, Q(Imp Heron), Switch to Calcharo, Mercy cancel with Mortefi, Skill, Switch back to Calcharo, Ult, DM cancel with mortefi again, so on so forth...
That’s absolutely right. You can see in the pinned comment there’s a new rotation now with just E and filling the gap with post dodge basic attacks or Echos
Do we know yet if it's worth quick swapping mid liberation rotation given that now we know you'll lose the outro skill buff from sub DPS even if you swap back before they visually leave.
apparently during cbt the outro skill buff will stay if you do swap cancelling. Becuase of that calcharo+yinlin duo outperform jiyan in cbt. Now kuro decided to nerf all direct buffers outro skill when your character is switched off field.
@littlebrethren9486 That's what I've heard, yeah, and it's kinda unfortunate timing for these calcharo guides since most assumed he was gonna heavily lean into it when yinlin comes out. Now, he just may stay on field and spam attacks as shown simply because switching may lose more than gain DPS.
Loving the explanation! Questions: 1) Do we need to use his skill during his liberation mode? 2) How to echo animation cancel? Is it by dash or swap? Or both? 3) Why when I quickswap animation cancel, the skill would NOT continue on itself? For instance if I use MC's echo and quickswap to another, the Dreamless echo wouldn't continue doing it's stuff? I am playing with mobile. Anyone knows?
for the 44111 echoes, is that a 5 electro echoes or 2 electro 2 lingering tunes because in the picture it has an icon of lingering, and up to what level is the 44111 good?
I am currently running 44111 with double crit rate on because of poor substats and ease of build. Electro is the only one you can have the full set with two 4 costs
I think it doesn't matter that much, the picture shows what's optimal but the DPS difference is negligible imo. For up to what lvl 44111 is good, I think it's gonna be good until we get decent crit rate with 43311 build.
So what makes sanhua better than jianxin? That 38% liberation would make jianxin better right? Why is sanhua better? I thought the basic attack buffs didn’t affect calcharo in his liberation mode? @TimaeuSS
I think sanhua is good in any team because of her really fast burst that does decent damage and the amount of energy that she generates, so in this case she helps calcharo to have his ultimate as soon as possible
@@OctavioHuizar-or9jn is the energy she generates just from the amount of hits her ice break does? I was looking in her kit and didn't see anywhere where it says it gave energy to your other teammates (outside of the 50% gain from off field characters)
And I thought that resonance liberation 5 hit combo before slam is counted as a Basic attack, am I wrong? I though that's the only reason we're using sanhua
@@YooruYT no it counts as liberation damage. From what i've gathered she is solely there to give calcharo more energy to be able to ult and intro/outro skill way more often than not
how does Calcharo cancel his animations during his ultimate state in the duo showcase with Yinlin? and is it still worth swapping out during his resonance liberation state at the cost of losing the outro skill buff from other units?
gameplay footage is from cbt 2 i think , after the changes to the outros where u lose the buff if u switch again its not gonna be worth losing yinlin's buff during calchero ult burst window probably.
After Yinlin his best set probably gonna be the Abomination one, he already has a lot of damage percent with her outro, atk should be more valuable in that team, both electro ecos are awful to use and the abomination deals a lot of damage and no animation, we need more theorycrafter in this game😭
Ugh, I don't even know if I wanna pull Yinlin anymore. I'm pretty dang happy with Sanhua atm. Feel like it'd be much better for me to get another dps or maybe even a weapon or something.
For the 5 star weapon, would you get one for calcharo or for yinlin? Because I either get calcharo's best in slot or yinlin a really good weapon (and she's more valuable than him because she can buff every team)...
What? You don't need to pick one or the other? Yinlin's weapon is a limited banner weapon. Calcharo's weapon is a standard banner weapon. You don't use the same resources to get them
Wuwa to me is like PGR combatwise, but with even more freedom. Being able to either switch, dodge or attack midair adds to the fun that pgr didn't have, altho pgr combat is already as fun as it gets.
People love this guy because the skill ceiling is high. I still play him monkey style (aka sometimes just button mashing randomly) and still having fun. Not optimal, but it's important to have fun. In my case... Memorizing rotations, or timing attacks etc... is just not for me, I play by the ear and instinct. So just find your own version of fun
But think about it, Illustrous razor is Calcharo's best weapon that buffs liberation dmg right? And thundering Mephis also buff liberation dmg right? So if you use them both they will stack together. So Tempest Mephis is not that good either.
@@yorn2577 Is it really true that Illustrous razor is Calcharo's better weapon than Verdant Summit like they said in the video here? Cause I keep seeing people saying that Verdant summit is better 😵
always been jian. even better jian yinlin calcharo. u get the most out of them for calcharo main. sanhua is 2nd best option for now. and in the future will be ultimately ignored and used for your other DPSers such as yinglang.
Need a crit guide. What is worth it even tho base crit is only 150% dmg, meaning every base crit chance % is +0.5%dmg? How much does ATK and atk% compare? It makes me confused... me 'ead 'urts...
Im thinking of calcharo yinlin jianxin team with jianxin using moonlit set max support build and then double stack yinlin and jianxin buffs on calcharo. I think jianxin will be better than Verina so you can spam calcharo attacks without needing to dodge.

@@naruhodo554thanks for the tip brother, this can just be delayed with a skill input correct?
@@Sealbeats basic attack. This is talking about the combo in his ULT mode, I can do 3 Death Messenger with for example, quickly dodging after N1, then press N2. (N being basic attack). The timing is REALLY tight, as it fails sometimes...
@@naruhodo554 That's actually really good to know, thank you. Do you happen to know where I can find this video?
@@jerrychen3428 It's from Ve1tedRose, "Calcaro Trial, low ping" (or high), the video itself doesn't show the solution.
And it turns out I was actually cancelling N2 during the quick dash... (I gain stack during the dash and the one before last sequence, somehow fills the last stack...) you need to try it out yourself to see.
That last gameplay really humbled me
great guide, i don't understand much of it but it help a lot. i can't really mash buttom that well lol. What are outro and intro skill?
You see that circle in the bottom left side? When that circle is full, your outro skill and (usually) intro skills are charged. The outro skill usually gives the next character buffs and the intro skill usually does some damage upon being switched in
Hi sir. Question for Chalcaro skill priority, is it his Resonance or Forte Circuit to prioritize first? thanks!
U explain so clear with this kind explanation i can make more improvement
Wow you got a new follower 👍🏻
Swap cancelling has been nerfed removing outro buffs as soon as we swap, but idk if it still works with all team dmg deepen outro like verina's.
im just glad i can use jianxin somewhere
Jianxin is actually good. I team her with mortefy (forgot the spelling sorry).
Hi just started today and im aiming for Calcharo and Yinlin + verina combos! I got very lucky and got Calcharo, Verina, jianxin, Sanhua and MortefiS2. Should I keep Sanshua, Juanxin or Mortefi, im kinda confused... @.@
Actually, you don't even have to for him to jump; after initial attack animation, you can still swap-cancel it.
Damn that kakarot and mommy duo was insanely fire to play 🔥
In case you guys thought this is hard, do keep in mind that you can use transformative echo's animation cancel, while echo dashes in air (dreamless for example), to find yourself immediatly in air with next character, for free plunge attack 😂😂
Calcharo is the combine of sepiroth looks, vergil vibes and a bit kenjaku head
Hello just a question would love if somebody responded. I play calcharo often and built him quite a lot but since Jinshi is in the game now with her new weapon Ages of harvest and I dont want to build Jinshi so thats why I am asking:
Should I try to get the Lustrous razor or Ages of harvest for calcharo? Which one is more worth it investing in?
Lust Razor BIS until better Broadblade with Crit comes along, Jinhsi weapon is good for her due to the unique trait it has, Lustruous razor is also very good trait for Kakarot himself, doesnt matter which weapon both have their good sides but Lustrous better for now
My brain couldn't pay attention with the jumpy vr character lmao
is it worth switch after the nerfs? all the outro buffs are lost on switch since the launch, I think recommending switch is wrong
Hi timaeuSS... do you recommend building the mc first? even tho we got calcharo/jiyan?
The combo duo with yinlin is insane
heya thanks for the great video! i have a question, i can't seem to get the third HA in his Liberation window somehow, do you have any idea what i'm doing wrong?
We need a dummy in city to try different combos
We'll probably get player housing at some point. Remember that we are in 1.0
Thanks for this!
@@TimaeuSS Thanks, I definitely missed that one. mb
Hi @TimaeuSS --- R2 Verdant or still Lustrous for Calcharo? Thnx
Seriously, is it that hard to decide this? 😅
Loving the explanation!
Questions:
1) Do we need to use his skill during his liberation mode?
2) How to echo animation cancel? Is it by dash or swap? Or both?
3) Why when I quickswap animation cancel, the skill would NOT continue on itself? For instance if I use MC's echo and quickswap to another, the Dreamless echo wouldn't continue doing it's stuff? I am playing with mobile. Anyone knows?
1-no
2-u should swap
3-dreamless can continue u should probably wait a little longer before swapping
for the 44111 echoes, is that a 5 electro echoes or 2 electro 2 lingering tunes because in the picture it has an icon of lingering, and up to what level is the 44111 good?
I am currently running 44111 with double crit rate on because of poor substats and ease of build. Electro is the only one you can have the full set with two 4 costs
I think it doesn't matter that much, the picture shows what's optimal but the DPS difference is negligible imo. For up to what lvl 44111 is good, I think it's gonna be good until we get decent crit rate with 43311 build.
@@shoryuken88and havoc :)
@@dash1t12yes, it's just the 50%, I have my doubts about she being that good as CN players say too but we will see
And I thought that resonance liberation 5 hit combo before slam is counted as a Basic attack, am I wrong? I though that's the only reason we're using sanhua
@@YooruYT no it counts as liberation damage. From what i've gathered she is solely there to give calcharo more energy to be able to ult and intro/outro skill way more often than not
Rip my phone doing this combo😢
how does Calcharo cancel his animations during his ultimate state in the duo showcase with Yinlin? and is it still worth swapping out during his resonance liberation state at the cost of losing the outro skill buff from other units?
gameplay footage is from cbt 2 i think , after the changes to the outros where u lose the buff if u switch again its not gonna be worth losing yinlin's buff during calchero ult burst window probably.
After Yinlin his best set probably gonna be the Abomination one, he already has a lot of damage percent with her outro, atk should be more valuable in that team, both electro ecos are awful to use and the abomination deals a lot of damage and no animation, we need more theorycrafter in this game😭
the duo showcase won't be the optimal playstyle anymore because of the nerf in outro skill (after you switch out your character)
Hahaha loving the background music, thats the Dirty Backyard theme from Nikke right?
you're really looks like Gateo ToF 2.0 thats cool keep it up on your content
I'm holding on to my 5-Star Selector, see if I get Yinlin. If I do, Calcharo will be picked.
the buff from outro[jianxin/yinlin/sanhua] if u play like Death Messenger > sup dps > switch back Will the buff disappear? or it still effective?
Yes the buff will disappear
@@ainzgrey6100 Then if you play verina buff > yinlin or some sup outro > play only calcharo untill burst end Wouldn't it be better?
If you play with yinlin when she comes out try to do quick swap with each death messenger but with jianxin no swapping unless buff will go
Ugh, I don't even know if I wanna pull Yinlin anymore. I'm pretty dang happy with Sanhua atm. Feel like it'd be much better for me to get another dps or maybe even a weapon or something.
Спасибо!
How much damage do I lose (in " %") if I just do basic rotation?
Is the extra damage that important?
I have the five star weapon for my Cal. And he wrecks. My favorite character. I play with him all day
The crit damage from jiyan's sword isn't that important? I would've thought crit rate/crit damage on weapons was BiS
does it change from cbt that if you swap during heavy he'll lose outro dmg buff from subdps (yinlin/jianxin)? so its worth doing the swap anymore?
Curious aswell
For the 5 star weapon, would you get one for calcharo or for yinlin? Because I either get calcharo's best in slot or yinlin a really good weapon (and she's more valuable than him because she can buff every team)...
What? You don't need to pick one or the other?
Yinlin's weapon is a limited banner weapon. Calcharo's weapon is a standard banner weapon. You don't use the same resources to get them
@@Kizen. You're answering it from a perspective of someone spending money on the game... Xdd
@@lizardltd No, I'm not
You get free standard pulls... You never spend astrite on standard. you ONLY spend astrite on limited banners
Is the 5* standard really need cause i had verdant summit in 10 pull n was thinking to use the 5* selector weapon for mc
Wuwa to me is like PGR combatwise, but with even more freedom. Being able to either switch, dodge or attack midair adds to the fun that pgr didn't have, altho pgr combat is already as fun as it gets.
at this point i watch the video for the rap battle at the beginning, wish they were longer.
still a very great guide
Yeah switch from Thundering to Tempest because I have hard time to finish the consecutive 6 slash without dodging sometimes. Anyway Good guide!
Tnx for the guide
Should I team him up with Sanhua-Baizhi or Sanhua-Jianxin? Help T.T
i dunno of i should choose calcharo or encore. i love the swapping out but also love parrying. which is stronger? and which is more fun and cool?
Encore is easier to play and theoretically stronger. Cal is cooler and do more burst.
@@vocation8032 got it, thanks I'll get encore and hope to get calcharo with luck
how much is Verina energy regen for it to regen that fast?
If you have c1 calcharo - does it change the weapon taken cause of the energy gain?
If you have S1, try to make him S2 because S1 is not that big of change for him
The Real Punishers, yes they Punishing my Raven
Would YinLin’s echo set change if she’s in a 3 man comp with Calcharo vs the 2 man comp with him?
I pulled for the jiyan sword and got r2, should i still try to pull for the weapon targeted banner
I remember when Diluc was the best DPS on Genshin.. 😅
People now know better they excpected power creep
Idk what happen when charo n yinlin combo, everything in my head going blur
How good is calcharo s1?
Pretty please!
Danjin version!
Wouldn't skill + attack + skill + dodge + attack + skill be a more optimal combo?
But think about it, Illustrous razor is Calcharo's best weapon that buffs liberation dmg right? And thundering Mephis also buff liberation dmg right? So if you use them both they will stack together. So Tempest Mephis is not that good either.
its impratctical, you'll never get that 6 hit with thundering bcs you need to dodge
@@yorn2577 Is it really true that Illustrous razor is Calcharo's better weapon than Verdant Summit like they said in the video here? Cause I keep seeing people saying that Verdant summit is better 😵
Verdant is a stat stick, he cannot make use of it's full passive unlike LR,i use verdant because it's visually appealing@@jhontan2255
I was expecting some mention of his ER requirements.
so is sanhua or jianxin better with calcharo as of now?
always been jian. even better jian yinlin calcharo. u get the most out of them for calcharo main. sanhua is 2nd best option for now. and in the future will be ultimately ignored and used for your other DPSers such as yinglang.
Doesn't he buffs his ultimate if he used a heavy before using it?
Need a crit guide. What is worth it even tho base crit is only 150% dmg, meaning every base crit chance % is +0.5%dmg? How much does ATK and atk% compare? It makes me confused... me 'ead 'urts...
Im thinking of calcharo yinlin jianxin team with jianxin using moonlit set max support build and then double stack yinlin and jianxin buffs on calcharo.
I think jianxin will be better than Verina so you can spam calcharo attacks without needing to dodge.
Wonder when any of the CCs for Wuwa will create a Mobile gameplay combo guide.
Much harder to play on mobile
