2 Roaring Mack MR Front Loading Garbage Trucks from Flood Brothers

In today’s video we have two of Flood’s older commercial trucks that I’ve happened to run into completely by accident. Flood actually has a pretty good variety of commercial trucks, with their newest being a refurbed MR McNeilus that had the body cut down to 25 yards, and they also run a couple old residential trucks on commercial too. The first truck we see is a Labrie Optimizer, which I caught late one afternoon finishing up a downtown route. This one was super fun to watch, since the driver revved it to the absolute maximum and you don’t see this body too often at all. After that is Heil Half/Pack is featured finishing up some dumpsters at an apartment complex. Both trucks ran at a great speed and sounded exceptionally well, I hope you all enjoy the video!

For those of you unfamiliar with my channel, I document refuse trucks and equipment in my area and wherever I happen to travel.
That Labrie Mack MR was making music with her Cummins L10 engine! Add to that the insanely fast speed of the lift arms which made it super fun to watch. That Heil gave me BFI vibes too! I do not think we will ever see a modern truck move this fast and sound this good ever again sadly.
Not quite sure if it had an L10 since Mack uses their own engine, but nonetheless it sounded fantastic! That Heil was pretty reminiscent of BFI too, and I think you’re definitely right they just don’t build them like they used to unfortunately
This was a great video- the driver makes it look easy maneuvering through all these lots and cars and moving the trash bins around. It’s got to be real tough to do all that.

I am happy to say that a MR Labrie picks up our dumpster weekly. We also have a heil just like the one in this video. This video hits home for me and IMO, this is one of your best uploads. Hats off to an amazing video!

So much better than the wind up toy sounding natural gas engines with their high pitch noise and knocking sounds. I like the old Mack mr sounds with diesel. Also love how they haul it in these things. So many trucks go so slow with the forks
Yeah I agree completely, newer trucks don’t even compare to these. These drivers sure were skilled and moved really fast too, much better than other guys who almost baby the trucks haha
Terrific finds! Both trucks were very enjoyable. The Labrie was a surprise to me, so used to seeing Heils on these older MRs. Was very entertained by how quick and smooth that truck ran too. Thought I'd like the Heil more but actually found myself wanting more footage of the Labrie. Great driver in that truck. Awesome video!!

Great video my man! Really loved the roar on these trucks. That Labrie was super fun to watch, you don’t really see that kind of FL too often. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I really dig the orange and green on these trucks. Nice video!

Awesome vid Grant! Both of these trucks were awesome sounding - some of the fastest I've seen! Definitely cool to see FLs from Flood, as all that's really seen from them is Curottos. The clip at 5:00 was from your compilation right?
Thank you! They sure were fun to listen to, and very fast indeed! They do sure have a lot of Curottos, I’m definitely hoping someday soon I can find one of their older rear loads or ASLs. You are correct, that truck is from the compilation.
