- This video will show you how to beat the final boss in the Dark Hours raid for The Division 2.

Few more tips:-
• The heavy's 90 seconds timer starts only when someone steps into the circle first time
• If nobody steps into the circle after killing all NPCs at start, no further NPC will spawn and you can plan. Once done, just step into the circle.
• Once the timer starts, the heavy will re-spawn at every 90 seconds
• Use Merciless for killing the heavy. Make sure you hit the bullet and wait for the pull action, and then hit again... (on his head)
• You wanna do the circles right after killing the heavy (asap) as you need more time remaining (from that 90 seconds) to do the boss damage and then kill the next heavy
• EMP helps with the drones. Make sure you charge it to full (hold skill key)
• Missile panel order (after boss kill) is confirmed by the air horn and blinking lights (like when heavy spawns)

i will say this, usually i don't watch RUclipsr, i'm kinda a old school gamers, Discovering things by myself, however, i need to admit, this one was tough and the information can be overwhelming.
all the RUclipsr i looked for need how to explain but they didn't show to me where was every stuff i needed to know.
this was so far the best video i watched about the raid, probably i won't come back to watch more videos, but you should know that you did a great job.

You can counter drones with emp pulse as well.
Now, I don’t know if it’s a fact, but had a high level of regularity to happen. When someone used EMP, the ones that survive the EMP will *aggressively* target that person. It could be an outlier situation, but it was consistent enough in that run to where he stopped using EMP, and found himself surviving way more
You know in real life we can just pull the plug instead of shooting down these things
Because these high tech military grade missile launchers are all controlled by an extension chord lmao, who wouldve thought. Our military is doing it all wrong
Hey, I didn't even touched the raid, and all I played of Division 2 after the update was enough to know that my build was OK for soloing challenging missions.
I still watch your videos on the Raid because I believe to be my job as a player to know the mechanics when I decide to take a shot at the raid, so please, keep it up.
The challenging difficulty is not even close to this specific boss fight.
@@mihail8918 Oh, I know that. But it is the content I am willing to do while I don't find a group of 8 to do the raid, and it is the means to farm gear for that. So while I'm not going to tackle the Raid, the only thing I need to be able to complete are Challenging missions.

Yeah the group I was in just couldn't understand it.
Wish they had put match making in the Raid most of the players I play with don't understand how to make that high damage build, the match making would have given me a shot to complete it in the first week. I would have liked to have had a chance a worlds first but do to the lack of match making I was unable to do this. But thanks for the videos they do help.
Idk man. Using LFG still finds people with builds that are lacking and also they may be lacking in mechanics. Ive been in like 6 raid groups this last week and i would say 4 were terrible and couldnt even down boomer to half shield. Other teams we down him 2 tries. Its all just a matter of the team you build
A little tip on rocket phase: if u go right to the razorback there will be no dmg from rockets. it explodes right above you and deal no dmg, but u must stay in closest position to the boss
Heavies are on a 90 second timer that starts from the first time someone enters a circle, it’s not related to boss damage (I’m sure you know that already, but just to clarify). Helps if someone uses a timer to make spawns predictable.
I highly recommend having Merciless as your backup weapon, specifically to take out Heavies and Doggos. Make sure you stack the primers to 5, deals massive damage to those enemies. If you aren’t stacking the primers, damage is bad. A single person with Merciless can take out a heavy by themselves if needed. I suggest at least two users in opposite corners so you pretty much have full map coverage of the heavies.
I think the lower view numbers have more to do with people loosing interest in the raid tbh

Not even talking about how good Merciless is in this fight against heavies and dogos or using EMP for the drones or Survival medkits to heal the whole team.... Been waiting the whole week for the world first's guide and that's not what I expected at all.....

Its crazy to think that this is what the raid is like on normal mode , can't wait for hard mode to come out and you need a 6 million dps build to even open the front door.

I'm sure you've seen the german DUK clan 20 minute World Record footage. Seems like they are damaging both the front and back of the truck at the same time. Think it can be done that way too? Any of the new gear set pieces dropping? Has anyone in the clan gotten any of the new Exotics? Have you manage to unlock the chest on the plane yet?
Curious to see what the viewcount on this is... Either you're in the group of ppl who have no issue completing it and have done so several times already, or you have already given up on the raid and likely the game.
I spent a couple of hours on this boss yesterday without completing it. I will definitely go back to say hello to Mr. Boomer today!

The Raid isn't even hard what people don't realize is your build is sooooo important and team work is needed. Even for console like yes AI's are a pain in the ass but thats the hardest part.
I play this game a bit. But the way marco kill the heavy by himself in a 8 men group is amazing. GG.
pro tip:use merciless on fattys,it kills them in 1 stack(5 primery 1 detonator rounds) it deals direct dmg to hp(same with robot dogs) ,merciless dmg goes up with wep dmg talents,dmg to elites n explosive dmg
That is 5 stacks, not one. One stack would be one primer and one detonator.

How do you figure out the order in which you need to destroy the rocket launchers after killing the boss?
The panel will light up when it's ready to be destroyed. with 2p on each one it's plenty of time.

I don't want an easier raid- I want better grouping options. I hate having to join guilds (or create them) just to start out on the "unproven- not raiding" list. Randoms are hard enough to coordinate on missions we've all run a dozen times, since everyone treats these as dps runs- how fast can we kill the boss.
Awesome walkthroughs. Now i just need to find 7 more players. Not qith matchmaking though. Theres a reason i solo challenge and heroic.
That'd be a brag if soloing heroic/challenge missions was impressive
Me and my clan already won this raid. And we did nothing you said in the video.
1) We use to synchronize to enter the white circle at the same time.
2) We use a crossbow to open the hatch of the razorback's entrance and shove a concussion grenade through the hole.
3) A member with Hard Hired suit goes to take care of the 2 or 3 drones spawned.
4) Those Heavy "Boomers" we kill shooting at their butts, with any high DPS weapon.
5) We take down the front side first, then the backside.
6) When Razorback is done, we all destroy the rockets launcher computers to finish the raid.

How do you know what the order is to destroy the rocket launchers after the boss health is 0?
any tips in finding people to do the raid? I still hope there will be a match making system implemented in the future.
I've seen the video of all the bosses, and considering you really need communication to defeat them, doing it with pick up will be a massive waste of time, because you will always have somebody with cappry gear and/or who doesn't pay attention. Then it's the wipe.

Everyone wanted a Destiny style raid, and wanted them to be harder since the ones in div 1 were easy right? Then why do people complain about the difficulty of this raid? This still isn’t anything compared to Destiny raids lol
I just got to this boss yesterday for the 1st time. I leveled up a 2nd character and i hope i can maybe take him down today! One more chance for the patch!

Just out of curiosity has anyone tried using sweet dreams on boomer/Buddy? i mean i hear so many complaints about the healing, you would think that maybe that specific gun is probably useful for such a situation. not saying it's a necessity but for those that seem to be struggling.
I think I saw someone on reddit posting that it doesn't work on Boomer. I would assume it doesn't work on buddy either.

@@n00bonastick Some people use it on the lmg for the holstered talent. As for the raid, while dps is important, I think coordination is the most important aspect.
@@mihail8918 yeah i know, i kinda run double duty and Filler up. it's a couple of seconds longer in terms of dps consistency but the outcome is that i never have to go to the ammo box because double duty literally refills my ammo. so if i lose 100 ammo on LMG i switch to my secondary and continue dps reload from empty and 20% ammo back. it's like i never used the ammo.
I also do it on a rotation tho so that the timer on Double Duty ends after. so i may use the side arm shotty to trigger filler up. then go back to LMG and secondary rotation to trigger double duty again to get the ammo back.

tbh the raid isnt for the casual players, people have jobs and other things in life like kids. knowing that the raid is so time consuming in terms of farming the right gear and a 1-5 hour raid, it's just too hard imo. love to see a nurfed version that has less rewards. BTW console here.

Really depends on ur build. If you run clutch then invest in all Crit and health, leaves u with around 200k. But generally speaking around 250k is enough to survive and not too much that you can’t heal up to full if needed.

Raid needs 12 players not 8. Actual raids have tanks, healers, and damage players. This "raid" is pure dps which makes it a joke. There needs to be an option to que up for a tank, skill, or dps build

Raid bosses combat system looks very boring.
I hope the company do something new to the division 1,, like a expansion on the map because the division is not like we expected on the division 2 the story lost now we fighting with machines,, nothing real good like gear and weapons like division one on the division 2 we need do a lot thing to created a exotic weapons the dark zone is really poor..I think has more player on the division 1 playing better,,

It is indeed. i found out that the majority of times it doesn't deploy is when i am too close to cover.

@@mihail8918 rooted, recharged, protective deploy only works on the chem launcher, it might just be my personal experience but I had rooted on my build the other day & not once did it work. A talent I want to stack with safeguard & use with the chem launcher for good heals but when I take cover which is how you proc it, nothing. Do they work for you?

noone can find a group to raid. Been posting on the forums and reddit for weeks. if you try and ask in game chat you get trolled. division 2 is already trying to F2P because the game is dying.
sorry marco but there is no chance of understanding the mechanics on each boss and defeat the raid in five hours. I am not saying you cheated but some assistance on the mechanics is obvious.

It's just a bad sequel, with the raid being one of the very few plus points. This game makes my blood boil, pve paradise with a trashy & shit multiplayer. Division 1 pvp for me later. Happy times 😊
