Class Ds are coming of age. I've played a couple that really kick. As far as how deep something can play is more dependent on the speakers and cabinets. A deep E slightly above 40 Hz. A deep A is obviously lower than that. Frequency response is usually - 3 dB. Frequency range is usually - 10 dB. Many 10" speaker cabs go down to about 55 - 3 dB, and 40 -10 db. Some go deeper. If you have another cabinet that can hit 30 db -3 DB, it will play deeper than 55 Hz -3dB. Measurements are measurements. Many bands now use the stage amp for a monitor and run straight into the PA. Geddy Lee doesn't even bother with a stage amp anymore.
I love watching slightly "bitter beer face" take over when he turns up the second tone print. LOL!! Rawk on, Steve!! Also, why doesn't he do a "this is what's in my signal chain" thing like John does? I, too, would be curious about *his* rig.
punker6506 If you get the foot switch you can use both Toneprints at the same time, & they also have combined Toneprints as well so you could have 4 Toneprints going at once....
hi i noticed that you are playing through an Aguilar cab and not tc ? would you say they have a better sound, Ive actually got Rh 450 with rs210 cab but want some more bottom end, what would you recommend, cheers rob from warm and sunny England
Ronny OnBass you say that class D has a long way to go for pro use. Sure, that's why class D now dominates the pro sound reinforcement market where these class d amps you call wimpy push punishing bass through subs inside huge arenas and outdoor venues at SPL's us lowly Bassists can only dream about. I get it that you're a fan of big iron analog heads. Nothing wrong with that. But to say that class D is an inferior product that can't deliver the high power goods is just analog fanboi trolling.

Steve Cook, what model Fender is that P bass? Is that some kinda Customshop P? Great sounding bass!
i would have bought a tc amp long ago but not being able to use both tone prints at the same time is dumb and kills the amp for me

Sweet, sweet P bass! Battle scarred powerhouse!

MarkBass 104HF are pretty amazing mate. Mine still going strong and super punchy 13 years later. They move a lot of air.
Can you tell us more about that Fender bass?
Keep the amp, I'll take that bass.
+SweBass That is the ugliest bass I have ever seen..
+VinnieVic Jones I disagree totally with you
+VinnieVic Jones That P bass is a beauty, sounds like someone doesn't know Fender gear.
that is a doooope bass
What if you use alternate tunings?
use a tuner pedal duh
How can I plug in two cabinets in parallel, I see only one output in the back?
Juan Pablo Monzon daisy chain I would have thought
Looks like you are running your gain too low my man. Better sounds to be had from this little beauty.
How stupid to make all that noise transmitting the data via pickups?..point at the amp and do it direct quietly?.
is it weird that i would pay more for this same amp without the toneprints?
You could just not use them? I have a toneprint bass amp and the clean tones are super punchy, the toneprint is just a bonus for me really
ClamsAnonymous Nah, you're just a bassist xd

Exactly..well hey, 'musicians' are not exempt from the dumbing down of the human population unfortunately.
Weirdest shit ever... I want it!!
