Feeding the largest Venus Flytraps of the year (so far)

It's about half way through carnivorous plant season and some of the largest traps have just appeared so I decided to do a feeding compilation video.

Why do some traps close so slow?

The leaf secretes a bit of nectar/fluids that the flies sucks up.
