I really hope that the next Elder Scrolls title takes place in Elsweyr. The Khajiit have always been the most interesting race for me. It would be great to explore their lands and lore in more detail. Skyrim was fine, but it was sooo dull and dreary a lot of the time. I want to delve into those golden deserts and lush green jungles!
Although i would like valenwood a lot more because of the knowledge i have of it from book descriptions and such, elsweyr would also be really nice to explore in the nesxt title.
As he said, we are a unpredictable race. Just because some of us follow the Altmer doesn't mean we all do. I for instance am not a friend to the Altmer. I can do as I want. By the way we are not all thieves and pickpockets. Some of us actually have jobs. Take me for example. I'm a caravan guard.
Jacob Blaidd I won't lie, I have. I wanted to see the path they take from city to city and followed them along it. We came across a few wolves, bandits, and a troll. But other than that it was uneventful.
Eventuslly you could have been attacked by a dragon that could be the incident that spurns your character to become the Dragonborn. I play as a thalmor defector, I only btrayed them once I conceded all the major cities to the Stormcloaks XD
Jacob Blaidd Nice. I feel that the Thalmor have a very big ego. They think they are better than everyone else. They like to attack from afar and tie or chain people down to torture them. That to me shows weakness and fear. I like to piss them off because I find it funny when they shout death threats when trying to kill me.
Thalmor are Tamriel's Nazis, they piss me off but they're a really well written faction of the world. I wouldn't be surprised if ES6 has the main story of you trying to overthrow the Thalmor Empire of Tamriel. Lots of design space for storylines and changing the landscape there
I have this love and hate relationship with khajit roleplaying because whenever I have a helmet where I can see it's face I bacome a 6 year old shouting:ERMAHGRED CUTE KITTEH in my head...
I love the khajiit race! I think it would be cool if you could choose the kind of khajiit you could be in new Elder Scrolls games but that probably wouldn't happen
This just shows how long The elder scrolls games can stick around, they've got a huge history and world that couldn't be more complex and indepth if they tried and who says they can't take the history forwards or backwards? They could make these games continue forever.
Thank you so mucj shoddycast,I appreciate all the Elder Scrolls Lore you make.It really strengthened my knowledge of the elder scrolls and my interest in it.:)
When I first started playing TES I chose the Khajiit only because they were cats but learning about their backstory makes me want to play them even more
Dang it why do the khajiits have to work for the Thalmor....i hate the thalmor but if i ever play elder scrolls online im choosing either argonion or khajiit....probably khajiit
Skyrim still feels unfinished. For example: Dragons still roam the skies and attack the cities and towns. The civil war concluded but the moot never convened to elect Elisif/Ulfric as the new High queen/king. Plus you never got to take your Imperial Legion/Stormcloaks to destroy the Aldmeri Dominions presence in Skyrim and then Summerset Isles. I really hope they don't leave the next game incomplete, really screws with the story in my mind with so many unconcluded loose ends. Plus Valenwood for the next ES game hopefully.
That's how it works. It allows Bethesda to tie up loose ends and prepare for the next game. For example, in Oblivion, there was already talk of the Aldmeri Dominion reforming but you could do nothing about it. By Skyrim they are a dominant force in Tamriel, ready for you to fight/help.
You're never going to march against the Aldmeri Dominion,Bethesda would never make a plot like that the focus of their game. The moot didn't elect a high king because the war isn't over,no matter who you side with, after killing the enemy leader, your leader(Ulfric or Tulius) says there are still enemies left and their right you can still find enemy camps. And there are supposed to be dragons, the story was to kill Alduin so he didn't eat the world, not to wipe out an entire intelligent species in less than a year.Dragons are part of TES now, whether or not you get to see them in the next game(I'm not sure if any dragons left Skyrim),they're probably going to be mentioned to be alive still.
TheDarkS Well, Dragons were already alive to begin with, although in a very small number. And because they got slaugtered by the thousands they hid until Alduin's return called them out of hiding. In fact, the first Dragon you killed was a survivor from the Dragon War, not a resurrected dragonlike the others you kill later.
Wow. I actually haven't thought of that. I should take that up with the devs. Btw we already know that the next game will be in Elsweyr because of the book: "the hope of the redoran"
Dylan Russell "Hope of the Redoran" states one thing about Dro'Jizad and a prophecy. It is so ambiguous we cant even begin to say what its about. You cant just say the next game will be there...
Interesting that you say that. That being said, what setting do you think the next Elder Scrolls will take place in? Btw Just for the LOLZ, gray mane or battleborn
4:515:06 Now this looks insanely original and way more interesting, than Skyrim! Imagine questgivers looking like domestic cats, towns full of Khajits of all stripes etc! Imagine green woods, colourful coral reefs at shorelines, twsiting canyons... BETHESDA, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, PLEASE, SET TES 6 IN ELSWEYR!
...Damn, you have a very melodic voice. I had to rewind a few times because I kept dozing off. Not from lack of interest but from the calming and relaxing nature of your tone. This actually answered a few questions I've always had about the Khajiit but never... had the attention span to look up. TES just has so much to keep straight, not to mention the time skip from the previous one to this one. Annnnyway, thank you so much for making this. I'll be checking out the other ones. You've done a very good job, it looks like they came straight from Bethesda themselves.
I hope TES VI is based around Elsweyr, and that we can play as the various man-sized Khajiit, while also having some of the other kind as followers. I want a sentient cat as a follower, dammit!
Here's my idea for the next Elder Scrolls game: The Elder Scrolls VI: Dominion The game would take place within the provinces of the new Aldmeri Dominion (Sommerset Isle, Valenwood, Elsweyr), and the main quest will involve a revolution against the Thalmor.
First video I've watched in this series. Ever since Oblivion I've loved the Khajiit but never really knew much about them, THANK YOU for this series, I will be watching every video but where did you get ALL this information? I would love to be able to read through it myself. I will be playing a Warrior Mage type Khajiit in ESO and hope we can choose which moon cycle we are born under.
The Khajiit are my favorite race in the elder scrolls just because of how many different classes you can be with them, theres rouge, warrior, and unarmed badass. Oh and the whole cat thing.
I didn't even care about what stats the Khajiit had when I picked it. I just wanted to play as a cat :P ALSO: I kind of wonder if the few khajiit who are just there to do good really hate all the others who are just making the race look bad.
Elder Scrolls 6 should be set in Elsweyr and Valenwood plus one other small region such as the Summerset Isles. A great combination that would be very different to Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim.
you have a good point. although magnificent the worlds of morrowind and skyrim are a bit barren at times. also with high rock, skyrim, cyrodiil and morrowind all used by now only the southern part of tamriel remains. it would be nice to explore the shady swamps of black marsh.
Cyan Cat Thanks. I'm now thinking it would be good to maybe have the main game in Elsweyr and Valenwood, the final quest (against the High Elves) giving you access to the Summerset Isles and then a DLC for Black Marsh.
the high elves aren't directly evil. yhey hold a grudge against talos for comitting mass murder on the summerset isles without being provoked . the elves may be arrogant but then again humans are pretty racist. making them accept talos and his empire would be like making a racial minority worship facism. also the septim empire which is the legacy of talos failed to protect a people they had already humiliated and broken. it's not hard imagining how they feel about beeing ruled by humans after going through that. their revenge was over the top but there is no black and white here
***** Maybe but I think Summerset is too small. I do think the next game should center around the Thalmor but it could be that the front line is Elsweyr and Valenwood (which would provide an awesome mix of magical forests and amazing desert culture including Egyptian influenced tombs) and then the final war quest could open up Summerset (and loads of Summerset quests). I also think a Black Marsh DLC would fit into this brilliantly.
I actually really hope TES VI is in Elsweyr. It has the most interesting and diverse landscape to explore IMO. I can just imagine what bethesda can do with sprawling tropical jungles and imagine the weather affects in both the jungles and deserts in a more advanced engine...O.O Plus maybe with new AI technology there could be all the types of Khajiit roaming the landscape, climbing and running through trees Assasins Creed style... it would be epic. Plus imagine the Khajiit character creation, you could make some crazy cats and still be lore friendly! Just so many opportunities for new mechanics and ideas that would be extremely unique to a TES game. Shame TESO is an MMO... I highly doubt anyone like me who only plys a few hours a week will pay the subscription. Plus if youre like me and hate PVP, so much for reliving the oblivion days wandering Cyrodiil without getting trolled and slaughtered. Wow rant over..
An Elder Scrolls game in Elsweyr would be opportune for bringing back the Athletics and Acrobatics that was in Oblivion. I love your idea, I hope someone working for Bethesda sees this and tries to make the idea a reality. It would be a great game.
I agree fully, but Elsweyr is a bit too tiny, about half the size of Skyrim. If they do decide to do Elsweyr, I am hoping they will also add Valenwood along with it, giving us three diverse terrain types: deserts, jungles, and elven forests
Jacob Snyder An even better idea! An Elder Scrolls game in two different places. It would be the first step before the technology is available for all of Tamriel.
Hmm good point. Imagine if it was Elsweyr, Black Marsh, and Valenwood... I imagine that would be asking a bit much though. Plus, (correct me if Im wrong here) Each TES game has been only one major territory.
Elder Scrolls Arena the first ES game was all of Tamriel. I think that was the only ES game, until ESO that had all of Tamriel to explore. I probably will never get ESO until it goes F2P and hopefully not to strictly P2W. Until then, anyway. Arena was very old and I think to make the games bigger they had to focus on one province instead of the entire land. Skyrim looks pretty big on the maps, but was sort of small in game. It was big, just doesn't seem to be as big as the maps made it out to be. It's possible it could be even bigger in ESO. But we'll have to wait and see. And besides, Oblivion was in Cyrodil and that place is supposed to be the biggest Province in all of Tamriel. But in Game it was smaller then Skyrim. They gotta fit in what ever engine or what ever they're using, if they upgrade they could make Elsweyr bigger then Skyrim.
When the 2 moons disappeared for 2 years, what happened to the Khajiit that were born during that time? How was their appearance affected? Just a thought!
Without a Doubt Im going to be a Khajit, they are the supreme race, even though they may be ruled by the High Elves that had helped them, the Khajit are still the a=stronger race. for the Dominion.
The general theme to the Elder Scrolls - the lore is really cool. The books you pick up have great stories as well. Meanwhile the story you are in as a player usually pales in comparison. I cant think of that many universes were the cool shit already went down. Its like imagine Star Wars, the Death Star already blew up, our heroes are now half way around the galaxy, but you lucky traveler are part of a clean up crew collecting all the scrap metal from the Death Star. Let the adventure begin!
Skyrim- Canada Cyrodil- United States Elswyr- Mexico Valenwood-South America Hammerfell-Africa/Middle East High Rock-Asia Summerset Isle-The UK Black Marsh- Austrailia What did I miss or am I wrong?
I feel like Cyrodil and Skyrim should be switched around. Personality wise and vaguely with their traditions Skyrim is more like America. They both pride themselves for being strong and have a deep love of their country, so much that if they feel like anyone would threaten it they would fight them. They both very much value "The Noble Warrior" tradition. Cyrodil could be considered like Canada along the same line of reasoning. Mostly because out of everyone else in the world they look and can understand Skyrim better than anyone else, but that doesn't mean they get along. Everything Skyrim is Cyrodil isn't and that can be said for America and Canada too. Cyrodil, is more mild tempered and calculating which contrasts with Skyrims methods. If it wasn't for the fact Canada has an alliance with America I would guess that the two would be at war with each other.
Fist-of-doom Yeah but northern Canada is a snowstorm like Skyrim, maybe that's what Desmond had in mind. But Skyrim is Scandinavia, is there really a question about that?
i wish they would make a dlc or something where i could choose what kind of khajiit i wanted to play, can you imagine a house cat shouting fus ro dah. lol
A well collected and made lore of Khajiit I'd say. Keep them coming. Narrator has a lovely voice. if someone would be so kind as to identify the song at the end of this video, I would be grateful
What if in Elder Scrolls VI more than one mane was born and the people of Elyswere now fight over which mane has the right to rule over Elyswere. The player could decide to fight for his/her chosen mane or reunite Elyswere.
ya but i'm thinking on a bigger scale like other fantasy games , i always had trouble really getting into Fallout i tried to play Vegas and the ones after 3 and couldn't get into it.. the games are good in all jus apocalyptic borderlands type stuff never really was me thing.
This one loves the Lore Series. And thinks that you might make more? My khajiit looks like a Snow Leopard with white fur and Black strips.. His name is Si'Zark
I wonder why other khajiit species don't appear in games like oblivion and skyrim. I'm not even sure if they appeared in morrowind. It'll be cool if u saw some of these different species of khajiit roaming the land with the khajiit caravan. Maybe one of the tiger like khajiit or jaguar khajiit guarding the caravan would be a cool idea. Someone should make a mod like this Just for immersion.
i thought the same thing and searched it up. the closest i've found so far is the "3 new Kahjitt races" mod on the Skyrim nexus. it basically changes the name of the default Khajiit and lets you play as 4 of the different types; Suthay, Suthay-Raht, Ohmes and Ohmes-Raht. imma keep searching to see if there's a better one but just thought you might like to know what i found.
imma have to agree there. the Khajiit are a bit of an underapreciated race and a simple mod like that should exist. plus im DEFINATLEY gunna need to get Moonpath haha. also, side note, i found some more mods that add the races on the workshop on steam but not in a pack so to get them all might be a bit of work.
Dunmer and Khajiit are the most interesting races in TES series to me. We already have Morrowind, I would love to have a combination of Elsweyr/Valenwood or Elsweyr/Black Marsh.
I always imagine this is how elsweyr was named
"Khajiit aren't from here"
"Where are they from, then?"
"I don't know. Elsewhere"
lol
MilesCrlsn You
Actually it was named from the quote "The best homes are found elsewhere."
Actually, it's likely named from an old Khajiit proverb: "A perfect society is always found elsewhere." Henceforth, the land would be known as Elsweyr.
Source: The video above.
The best homes to buy is Elsweyr, I always say. 😏
housecat + housecat = mammoth-sized sabretooth
Wtf lmao
It did explain that all khajiit are born as small cats and then develop into whatever sign they were born under
That poor sod is going to need quite the robust diet to grow that big.
+Daniel Feldspar i play as female khajiit character she is a warrior and stronger then any nord or Imperial or elve and their medic areas with the wounded I killed everyone
isiah Craft I wear Khajiit as armor not their pelts the entire Khajiit
Even if you're a khajiit with daedric armor, you were still a kitten once
Meow
Very true😂😂
and even if you are a nord with daedric armor and dragonbone weapons, you were still an embryo once.
A cute little kitty that you will hug and snug.
thats a meme
My horrible fan theory is that during the disappearance of the moons, all Khajiit births were stillborn, as with no moons there can be no form for the Khajiit to take. This adds a very tangible severity to the crisis, and further explains why the Khajiit were so quick to praise the High Elves
That isn't that bad of a theory. It makes a good amount of sense.
BloodyChrome that does make sense as that would explain the need for the moons
BloodyChrome In my opinion the whole thing seems VERY suspicious. The moons disappear and the High Elves just happen to know how to fix it? I think the High Elves were responsible.
thats exactly what came to my mind as soon as he said it, been flicking through the comments to see if someone agreed haha
Penmin _ FUCK THE ELVES
"May your roads lead you to warm sands"
My friend you know j'zargo
Our fellow khajit
+king “willem” VII i hear jzargo's trying new things...tight things, he's gonna get himself a woman

"No..."
"Are you J'Zargo?"

"Are YOU J'Zargo?"
"This one thinks you might be racist."
"Are YOU J'Zargo?!?"
"Meow"
Chris Green Is this referencing something?
Chris Green Goddamn it J'zargo lol
Dandoumir He's a Khajit follower in Skyrim
Dandoumir that most of them look the same
Are you squidward
End the war on Skooma. Tax it and regulate it.
Yes please 😭😭😭😭
If the war on drugs a failure in reality what makes you think nirns would be successful
I only buy from khajit XD
😂😂😂
Hahaha
Is it weird that I find this lore more interesting than actual history?
Nope.
Because it really is lol
Nah, its because our actual history is boring as shit. Same old cycle over and over. Slaves and empires.
I think its more interesting too most of us because knowing these things enriches the immersion when we play. WE are the ones making history :D
mairuzu Republics and Armies as well.
The Kahjiit are just a joy to be around honestly.
Something about them just has a certain charm that always puts a smile on my face when I come across a caravan.
Maybe it's how they talk, their lifestyle, culture or I don't know I just love being around them. ^_^
I always play as the Khajiit, so I am so pleased to hear that. 😸
only in elder scrolls will a house cat jump onto a stool and ask for hard liquor
How J'zargo misses the warm sands from Elsweyr....
You...Didn't I take you along into the Dwemer ruins? Where is the staff of magnus I let you hold?
J'zargo has hidden it very well...
J'zargo, I'm so sorry that I sold you're scrolls that you wanted me to test, please find a place in your heart to forgive me, sorry brother..
Shit, I did the same...
Also J'zargo, where is my staff. BY THE TWIN MOONS YOU HID IT? WHERE? Are you on the skooma again? Darn you!
J'zargo does not use any skooma. You probably lost your staff, J'zargo did nothing!
Elder Scrolls 6 NEEDS to take place in Elsweyr. It's the perfect chance to show all possible forms of Khajiit.
"Thank you again for all your support. We hope you stay engaged in the gaming community here and elsewhere" This is what Bethesda said when they officially said goodbye to Skyrim. Chances are The Kajhit are next :D
+Unidentified Phantasm
"elsewhere"
Play on words?!
Yup :3
also " perfect society is always elsewhere "
gonna be in blackmarsh I think
+oORoOFLOo
You people are driving me insane with that Black Marsh...
Black Marsh is only survivable if you're an Argonian.
Starting from Oblivion this was the first fantasy rpg world where I really sympathized with beast-monster races and actually my main character was an Argonian.
Argonians, Khajiit, Orsimer are my favourite races in Tamriel. When I went from town to town completing missions these races really felt like coming from tropical forests, enormous swamps and tundras. They don't fit easily in medieval castles and towns because they seem exotic and barbaric.

Orcs are elfs
Khajits are elves.
Khajiit aren't elves!
Kkk

Just think of a Bosmer like Khajiit married with a house cat like Khajiit. Now that'd feel kinda weird for someone who's not informed about their race!
+7up0111 Just imagine those rough nights in the bedroom..
And then their son is the size of a mammoth, and their daughter a kitten.
+Wam power imagine giving birth
Or a Senche-raht with an Alfiq
Absolute genital destruction
Incognito I just realized that
The Mane seem like the Khajiit version of the Dragonborn
The Khajiit version of the Dragonborn is the Dragonborn.
+stinkpinkponkdinkconk I meant as a leadership/powerful figure. I know any race can be the Dragonborn, but I meant for the Nords in particular the Dragonborn is a Nordic symbol~ish.
***** Powerful figures in respective cultures.
That's not kind of yes. That IS yes.
I reckon Mai'q the liar is a main.
A Nord: NORDS ARE THE BEST RACE!!!
Mammoth Cat: Come again bitch? This one will kill you in one bite....
GingerOfAle u mean over rated... They are also quite genocidal... Snow Elves... Yes I know w they attacked first and fighting back isn't bad but genocide of the snow elves was over kill...
GingerOfAle I'd say the freaking Mammoth Cats could best a ton of Nords in a battle.
GingerOfAle I can name one race that is at best on par with the nords. the redguards (or as explained in an earlier lore episode the Ra Gada) their affinity for the martial arts makes them formidable warriors not to mention they are superb sailors being a seafaring people. if anything the redguards are equal to the nords in every way. not to mention they refuse to bow down to a traitorous empire

a nord: I've killed dragons I ain't afraid you.
WOW imagine being able to play as all the different subspecies of kahjiit.
I'm looking at you bethesda.
You could with mods. You could make the big Panther Kahijit and probably be able to turn into the big Mammoth like Kahijit and the kitten one. And that last one he talked about sort of sounds someone like the Kahihit's version of the dragon born.
i know HEY BETHESDA!!!!!!
Senche Raht
wow, imagine being so stupid as to not see how pointless doing so would be.
That will never happen. But I would like them to add NPCs that are the different subspecies. Can you imagine running across an insanely intelligent cat that starts writing down information they gathered, acting as a spy for whatever faction or questline you encounter.
I don't know about you guys, but I would REALLY like for the next Elder Scrolls game to be set in Elsweyr. Maybe we can play as the Main, or Mayne, or Mein or however the heck you spell it.
Mane. Like a lions, that's what the manes hair is like. (although it has like a part of every single khajiit on it.)
Sadly, its going to be placed in Black Marsh. Google "Argonia"
gabe garrett that's fake..
Bethesda confirmed it in a interview and there site.
gabe garrett LOL.
no they didn't.
Elsweyr.
Elsewhere.
*Fucking Bethesda.*
AlphosLeo What is this "Bethesda"? Is it some sort of Deadric Prince?
Krowski Nall I can't tell if this is a joke or what.
AlphosLeo it is >_>
The name Elyswer comes from an old Khajiit proverb
A perfect home can always be found elsewhere.
And so the Khajiit, when driven out of the rest of Tamriel by the Alyid elves the founded Elyswer
Moregasm the Powerful history yo! ftw!

Well said. And warm sands, friend. =^.^=
Jaguars and Mammoth sized lions doing Dragon shouts make it happen modders !
Juffe Khajiit Master Race. Nuff said
Dunmer are better.
Xzener NEVER!!!!
".....no one accuses a house cat of eavesdropping"

*Your Cat* "Oyfum."
I love the Khajiit. Some of them are mean, but others, like Kharjo, are so charming and nice! Their voice is soft and their demeanor is in many regards quite calm, sometimes humorous and charming in many ways. I don't really know how to explain this...
When Kharjo says : ''Khajiit guard your back.'' ''Khajiit follow.'' Just makes me want to hug him! : )
The Khajit are by far my favorite race to rp, play as in general, and to learn about!
You put a lot of work into your videos, really great! Thank you!
Imagine those Khajiit family reunions
The neighbors would just be like 'Wait your brother is a mammoth-sized sabretooth cat and your sister is a housecat?'
Khajit also has wares if you have coin.
I always love seeing the differences in races and culture in Tamriel. Just looking at the bizarre and fascinating differences in khajiiti breeds makes you realize just how unique each race truly is.
I really hope that the next Elder Scrolls title takes place in Elsweyr. The Khajiit have always been the most interesting race for me. It would be great to explore their lands and lore in more detail.
Skyrim was fine, but it was sooo dull and dreary a lot of the time. I want to delve into those golden deserts and lush green jungles!
up your saturation
Nah fam valenwood would be bae.
Although i would like valenwood a lot more because of the knowledge i have of it from book descriptions and such, elsweyr would also be really nice to explore in the nesxt title.
I think you failed to see the somber beauty of Skyrim.
+BigBadSeed skyrim is soooo beautiful but i understand what everyone is saying. exploring other lands is great.
the khajit are and will always be the most interesting and fascinating of all the races of tamriel
As he said, we are a unpredictable race. Just because some of us follow the Altmer doesn't mean we all do. I for instance am not a friend to the Altmer. I can do as I want. By the way we are not all thieves and pickpockets. Some of us actually have jobs. Take me for example. I'm a caravan guard.
please tell me you roleplay that in skyrim, just following the caravans around everywhere waiting for random encounters
Lots of design space for storylines and changing the landscape there
Khajit is my favourite race indeed. 4 years later and i still play the khajit 70% of my walkthroughs.
I have this love and hate relationship with khajit roleplaying because whenever I have a helmet where I can see it's face I bacome a 6 year old shouting:ERMAHGRED CUTE KITTEH in my head...
Hey, that's racist.
Alex Hopkins Indeed. x)
Thank you so much for this, it was amazing my subscription was very well earned.
I'm hoping TES VI will take place in a combination of both Elsweyr and Valenwood.
Same
That would be cool but I would like to see some of akavir (not all of it as then it would just be pushed on you)
+James Hornby Well, we visited Oblivion in TESIV and Sovngarde in TESV. Maybe Akavir will be in TESVI.
Yes let this happen
+Kenneth Carson why both though
I love the khajiit race! I think it would be cool if you could choose the kind of khajiit you could be in new Elder Scrolls games but that probably wouldn't happen
This just shows how long The elder scrolls games can stick around, they've got a huge history and world that couldn't be more complex and indepth if they tried and who says they can't take the history forwards or backwards? They could make these games continue forever.
A game set in the Merethic Era would be awesome!
2:55 Moon Cat blesses His worthy Followers and curses all Doge worshipers
Wow.
So bigotry.
Much intolerant.
Don't want.
This guy deserves more subscribers for the work he puts into these
Thank you so mucj shoddycast,I appreciate all the Elder Scrolls Lore you make.It really strengthened my knowledge of the elder scrolls and my interest in it.:)
I'd love to see the next elder scrolls game in Elsweyr!
It will if Bethesda has any balls. They could finally ressurect that outlandish and interesting atmosphere that Morrowind had.
I'd rather see Valenwood or Alinor (Summerset Isle)
***** I just don't like playing as either of them. I prefer playing as elves.
Austin Francis Screw the elves.
GamesLegitament I'm guessing you started with Skyrim, because the Nords have anti-elvish propaganda everywhere.
I named my khajiit Garfield
Vince Villanueva
Does he also hate Morndas? XD
+Vince Villanueva Don't you mean Gar'field
+Victor Yang get out.
+Vince Villanueva I named my Catanova (casanova) kek
Echo Kaijin Top kek
Thunder! Thunder! Thundercats!!! That's how I play my Khajits in Elder Scroll
No
They do remind me of Thundercats
When I first started playing TES I chose the Khajiit only because they were cats but learning about their backstory makes me want to play them even more
This was one of the most beautiful historical videos I've ever watched. ;_; I love you my kitty friends
I'm guessing those deserts are actually a giant kitty litter box
There's just shit all over the place lol
"most nords see us kajiit as criminals" proceeds to sell in game cocaine.
The Elder Scrolls - Elsweyr
Has a nice ring to it, hope its the next.
Dang it why do the khajiits have to work for the Thalmor....i hate the thalmor but if i ever play elder scrolls online im choosing either argonion or khajiit....probably khajiit
Keep in mind that the Elder Scrolls Online's Aldmeri Dominion is not the same as Skyrim's.
i do not that and for awhile i have been trying to figure out what the Aldmeri are trying to accomplish
i know that
Slygon You have no reason to hate the Thalmor in Online, they are not as evil as they once were. Well... You know what I mean.
yes i kinda know but im still just trying to figure out what the aldemeri's goal is
M'aiq wonders how you could forgot to mention the greatest Khajiit of all times , M'aiq
Agreed.
I know, Paarthurnax survived as well, I meant I think they'll be alive in greater numbers, so that the playable races know they're still around.
These lore videos are fantastic. I didn't even know about those other forms of Khajiit. Makes me want to start a new playthrough as one.
The next elder scrolls you should be able to make skooma
Wow. I actually haven't thought of that. I should take that up with the devs. Btw we already know that the next game will be in Elsweyr because of the book: "the hope of the redoran"
Dylan Russell
ARE YOU SERIOUS?! IT WILL?! MY FAV RACE IS THE KHAJIIT AND I'VE BEEN WANTING A ELSWEYR GAME FOREVER!!! OMG IM SOOOO EXCITED!!
Dylan Russell
"Hope of the Redoran" states one thing about Dro'Jizad and a prophecy.
It is so ambiguous we cant even begin to say what its about. You cant just say the next game will be there...
a man can dream :')
Interesting that you say that. That being said, what setting do you think the next Elder Scrolls will take place in? Btw Just for the LOLZ, gray mane or battleborn
I think The Elder Scrolls 6 will take place in Elsweyr, elsewhere or somewhere else.
+Leto85 Yea and i think youre the one born when both moons shine (In a prison of course)
+SherbertKatAJ he is talking about your destiny is in skyrim, not sovnguard as you are still part of the living
+Stein plotz (Steinplotz) or how about being born with moons (new moons) what would that mean
Maybe born without moons cuz the thalmor suck ....
Maybe you can transform between all forms of Khajiit
4:51 5:06 Now this looks insanely original and way more interesting, than Skyrim! Imagine questgivers looking like domestic cats, towns full of Khajits of all stripes etc! Imagine green woods, colourful coral reefs at shorelines, twsiting canyons... BETHESDA, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, PLEASE, SET TES 6 IN ELSWEYR!
theyre not readong it,
or maybe they are....
muahahaha
Agreed would be awesome. Never going happen, too much work, but would be awesome.
...Damn, you have a very melodic voice.
The thumbnail for this video is the cutest thing ever
I hope TES VI is based around Elsweyr, and that we can play as the various man-sized Khajiit, while also having some of the other kind as followers.
I want a sentient cat as a follower, dammit!
Here's my idea for the next Elder Scrolls game:
The Elder Scrolls VI: Dominion
The game would take place within the provinces of the new Aldmeri Dominion (Sommerset Isle, Valenwood, Elsweyr), and the main quest will involve a revolution against the Thalmor.
+Curran McKenzie that would be awesome
+Curran McKenzie EPIC NUF SAID
j'zargo is a khajiit.
+TheMohawkNinja you can have a khajiit as a follower in skyrim
First video I've watched in this series. Ever since Oblivion I've loved the Khajiit but never really knew much about them, THANK YOU for this series, I will be watching every video but where did you get ALL this information? I would love to be able to read through it myself. I will be playing a Warrior Mage type Khajiit in ESO and hope we can choose which moon cycle we are born under.
The Khajiit are my favorite race in the elder scrolls just because of how many different classes you can be with them, theres rouge, warrior, and unarmed badass. Oh and the whole cat thing.
I want to live at Tamriel :c I don't want to live this planet anymore the faith of humanity is dead ;_; anyone wanna come with me?
I already packed my bags let's go !
Onward to Journey!
DARUDE-SANDSTORM
Hold on! Im coming too! I wanna slay some dragons, master the thu'um, and defeat the daedra
get an oculus rift.
Elseweyr seems like an awesome place for the next Elder Scrolls game
You know, that talk of a Mane, sounds like good fodder for the next actual Elder Scrolls game.
your lore series are some of the best ive seen or heard, cant stop watching them great job and thx!
I didn't even care about what stats the Khajiit had when I picked it. I just wanted to play as a cat :P
ALSO: I kind of wonder if the few khajiit who are just there to do good really hate all the others who are just making the race look bad.
Kind of sad we can't play as more humanoid Khajiit, or had at least some more in game examples of their diversity.
would loved a game where you could meet a house cat that talked
If the next Elder Scrolls game takes place in Elsweyr, I hope different breeds of Khajiit can be selectable in character creation.
I always wanted to be a house cat
in aki vir there is a tiger race.
Wow, guys. The Elder Scrolls Lore is a wonderful series. Thank you!
Bethesda should make all this into a series of books, that would be awesome.
I'm now thinking it would be good to maybe have the main game in Elsweyr and Valenwood, the final quest (against the High Elves) giving you access to the Summerset Isles and then a DLC for Black Marsh.
the high elves aren't directly evil. yhey hold a grudge against talos for comitting mass murder on the summerset isles without being provoked
. the elves may be arrogant but then again humans are pretty racist. making them accept talos and his empire would be like making a racial minority worship facism. also the septim empire which is the legacy of talos failed to protect a people they had already humiliated and broken. it's not hard imagining how they feel about beeing ruled by humans after going through that. their revenge was over the top but there is no black and white here
***** Maybe but I think Summerset is too small. I also think a Black Marsh DLC would fit into this brilliantly.
there is not going to be elder scroll 6 Bethesda said this but there will be elder scroll online
Jacob Snyder
An even better idea!
Just a thought!
i now have a new found respect for the khajiits.
Without a Doubt Im going to be a Khajit, they are the supreme race, even though they may be ruled by the High Elves that had helped them, the Khajit are still the a=stronger race. for the Dominion.
Moon Sugar! This is why I want an ES6: Elsweyr!
Sorry to break your spirit but ES6 is gonna be a while bethesda's new game was in pre-production since 2010 I'm sad too. :'(
Ethen Edgar Yeah, I know that. But in my mind I'm playing radiant skooma lab/dealer quests forever.
Jim Tiberius
Breaking Skooma!
Jim Tiberius Bethesda: If there is an ES6, it will be in Black Marsh.
DemandedTuna oh fine... as long as they put tits on dem hist bitchez :P
I really love these videos. Thank you for the hard work and great vids.
Skyrim- Canada
Cyrodil- United States
Elswyr- Mexico
Valenwood-South America
Hammerfell-Africa/Middle East
High Rock-Asia
Summerset Isle-The UK
Black Marsh- Austrailia
What did I miss or am I wrong?
Skyrim is based on Scandinavia and High Rock is based off of Brittany...
Also the imperials are based on Rome.
switch high rock and summerset isle around and you're probably good. I mean, they're called bretons for pete's sake.
i wish they would make a dlc or something where i could choose what kind of khajiit i wanted to play, can you imagine a house cat shouting fus ro dah. lol
Didn't he say that the House Cats could not speak?
A well collected and made lore of Khajiit I'd say. Keep them coming. Narrator has a lovely voice.
if someone would be so kind as to identify the song at the end of this video, I would be grateful
Wow didnt really like Khajiit but now they are really awesome.
Awesome enough to be Arch-Mage?
LOL
J'zargo No, awesome enough to wear....tight things. :D
***** And I'll rain down arrows upon our enemies.
What if in Elder Scrolls VI more than one mane was born and the people of Elyswere now fight over which mane has the right to rule over Elyswere. The player could decide to fight for his/her chosen mane or reunite Elyswere.
That would be awesome!
Look up the UESP, can only be a Khajiit.
Great idea
murmurrrr Not lore wise.
NenkotaMoon
Explain
Khajit and argonian so have beef wow they should be friends since they aren't the most respected race
Crowdedaudience bloods and crips aren't the most respected and they hate each other
Thr0w64ck Fair enough
Thr0w64ck if they helped the poor and stuff likely the government would wipe them out easy.
Amazing, simply amazing! I had no idea that the Khajiit were such a diverse race. I do believe an applause is in order. Video well done!
read the ingame book, "Mixed Unit Tactics". Was in the 3 recent games and is a very comical and interesting look on Khajits in battle.
They can all mate... the mammoth-sized and the housecat-sized too? xD
someone will make a mod out of that...
I miss your old, awesome voice :(
Me toooo :(
these videos r outstanding i wish you did all sorts of lore from other games
They do Fallout lore.
ya but i'm thinking on a bigger scale like other fantasy games , i always had trouble really getting into Fallout i tried to play Vegas and the ones after 3 and couldn't get into it.. the games are good in all jus apocalyptic borderlands type stuff never really was me thing.
Amazing. I have been doing a lot of research on Khajiit lore recently and this is very helpful and interesting. You earned my like.
This one loves the Lore Series. And thinks that you might make more?
My khajiit looks like a Snow Leopard with white fur and Black strips.. His name is Si'Zark
Si'Zark has come to late
Over the series is now
Ri'Shazar is disappointed in you brother
+Biggy Dion M'dran thinks this comment chain is old yes? Maybe if one breathed life into it again. M'dran thinks so.
+Biggy Dion M'dran thinks this comment chain is old yes? Maybe if one breathed life into it again. M'dran thinks so.
Ri'Shazar agrees with you, Ri'Shazar will help shall revive the chain, friend.
I wish there were more races in character creation for the Khajiit.
***** lol thanks man. I was playing moon path to elsweyr and noticed that they featured some of these different races.
It wouldn't be to hard to spawn some in near the caravan as a guard or something using the construction set.
imma have to agree there. the Khajiit are a bit of an underapreciated race and a simple mod like that should exist. plus im DEFINATLEY gunna need to get Moonpath haha.
also, side note, i found some more mods that add the races on the workshop on steam but not in a pack so to get them all might be a bit of work.
***** I'll be sure to do that. The khajiit are trully an awesome race probably one of my favorite races in the elder scrolls along with the argonians.
This series is great! So much detail and research. I learned more about Elsweyr here then I ever did in the games :D
I wish that there was a canine race in skyrim.
There used to be, the Lilimothit, but they were killed off by a plague. If there are any left, they are in hiding.
How do you know that? It would have been awesome to play as something that looked like Anubis.
HairyViking111
UESP.net. Everything about TES up to Skyrim is there.
HairyViking111
werewolf...kind of..
bokunobaka
Yeah but there's a whole tone of werebeasts that are all under the 'lycanthropy' thing. Wereboars, weretigers, weresharks...
Moonsugar=Catnip
Who wants to be a human or a elf when yo can be a kitty :P
This is extremely interesting. Nice video ShoddyCast!
5:49, Jeff the Killer as a Khajiit!
creeepy paaastaaa DΛHL
where on tamriel would you want to live and why.
i think i would like skyrim. its like the canada of nirn
I would live In either valenwood, or elsweyr. I am a warm weather & nature lover. Also, I would like to get me some of that good moon sugar!!! ; )
I would like to live in Valenwood.
Skyrim all the way, nice COLD weather. I would live in Elsweyr, but I hate the heat, lol.
I would have to go with the beauty of valenwood
i would live in Skyrim because it's like Canada :)
Since Valenwood and Elsweyr are right by eachother, I hope TES VI takes place in both
or at least a dlc
Dunmer and Khajiit are the most interesting races in TES series to me. We already have Morrowind, I would love to have a combination of Elsweyr/Valenwood or Elsweyr/Black Marsh.
