Monica Witt Sounds about right. The word obviously comes from the French word of the same spelling and further back to the Latin word 'princeps' which means 'first', or 'chief'.

+Norman Hampton "The Isles. THE ISLES! They're a wonderful place to be, except when they are horrible. Then they are HORRIBLY WONDERFUL! Good for a visit! Or for an eternity."
i played all of those and hermaeus mora was the one that interested me the most. i think he should play a part in the next elder scrolls game. i thought sheogorath was amusing and entertaining but his insanity would make any dealings with him pretty dangerous.
***** Herma Mora pretty cool. He's one of the most powerful if not the most powerful Daedra lord. And by most powerful I mean they could trick or bribe a different Lord into the realm, thus coming as close as one can to defeating a Daedric Lord as all are immortal and can not die. My top two are Sheogorath and Herma Mora.
Hermaeus Morra. Can't argue with a guy who managed to seduce the first Dragonborn into his service and has an artifact as powerful as the Oghma Infinium.
I love hermaeus mora. Hes always been my favorite prince, because he is so eloquent and intelligent. Ive just always felt some sort of attatchment to the character lol
***** The original sheogorath died when Jyggalag return. And when you beat Jyggalag in combat the cycle ends between the two switching meaning Jyggalag doesn't change to sheogorath. After you beat Jyggalag, he announce that the hero of kvatchin is the new Daedric Prince of Madness.
i kinda sold my soul to every sinle deadric prince/princess there is. What's gonna happen when i die? Maybe eternal fun as i watch them argue to see who'll have my soul lol
They can't share, my contract with Nocturnal said that my soul must stay in the mortal plane to protect the Twilight Sepulcter, but also, Hircine need me on the hunting grounds. those two don't share!
I wish in eso, you could choose one of theese to follow and get a birth starnight, like in morrowind and oblivion, getting some extra passiv's or maybe even a skillline, would make the players more different from another,
I might have gotten this totally wrong, but I've heard from somewhere that if you kill a deadric prince in tamriel or Nirn he will be bannished back to his own plain in oblivion, but if you manage to kill him in his own plain, he will be truly killed. Much like we can't die in Obilivion (That last sentance was just a guess, since you do not die in hermaeus Moras plain of oblivion in the dragonborn dlc)
No that's lesser Deadra like Dremora, Scamps ect. They can be killed for good sometimes if a more powerful being kills them in Oblivion. I don't think it is known if that would work for Deadric Princes or not but I don't think any mortal could kill one.
I think if you were able to kill one in their plain of Oblivion than you would kill him but It wouldn't be permanent, like they would die like a normal mortal would but after a certain amount of time they would come back
TwitchtheOvertaker Well apparently lesser Deadra can be killed permanently by being banished to the void but only if they are killed in Oblivion by a much more powerful entity. For example if the Golden Saints and Dark Seducers are killed in Oblivion they will still come back so simply killing them in their realm is not enough even for lesser Deadra. A Deadric Prince is a whole other story. I doubt any mortal would be powerful enough to defeat one. Jyggalag was cursed by the other Deadric princes and became Sheogorath but they didn't destroy him. It would seem a better option to do that rather than risk him returning one day but they didn't which sujjests that they couldn't even with their combined strength. We aren't actually sure how powerful Deadric princes are. Aedra weakened themselves by creating Mundus but Deadra did not so some of them could arguably be more powerful. I assume they can be defeated like Aedra can but I am not sure if they would actually die and not come back in some way. When Boethiah Devoured Trinimac he became Malacath. We know they can be Dethroned because Sheogorath gave his power to the PC in Oblivion but the PC just became the new Sheogorath.
Listening to this makes me think that I, the player, is the Daedra playing with a mortal in their world. No, even stronger than any Daedra... with console commands and mods :P
Azurah the creator, Hermorah the tide-strider, Hircine the hungry cat, Sheggorath the skooma cat, Merrunz Ja'Khajiit, Mafala the clan mother, and Sangiin of blood and life. These are the Deadra the Khajiit trust.
Yknow whats crazy. Ive met and finished the quests of these Daedra and acquired their artifacts and was just like... meh, daedras. Then after i watched your videos i was like HOLY SHIT I MET A GOD.
This is the best series ever on game lore. Thank you, you have a wonderfull approach. Sometimes a fall asleep listening in the sofa. But that's a good thing. You have a great storyvoice.

i played all of those and hermaeus mora was the one that interested me the most. i think he should play a part in the next elder scrolls game. i thought sheogorath was amusing and entertaining but his insanity would make any dealings with him pretty dangerous.
*****
Herma Mora pretty cool.
But I just had a thought, since Daedric Princes are technically genderless, can we really miss-gender them?
Hermaeus Morra. Can't argue with a guy who managed to seduce the first Dragonborn into his service and has an artifact as powerful as the Oghma Infinium.
That doesn't make him not a dick. (irritated pouting)

talking about jeff lol
I love hermaeus mora. Hes always been my favorite prince, because he is so eloquent and intelligent. Ive just always felt some sort of attatchment to the character lol
Hentaicles do wonders
Clavicus vile... this guy is freakin genius :p
yep i love his dog tough, but the daedra himself is pretty cool
this series made me love elder scrolls, wish you guys made it again
The music in the beginning makes me so nostalgic that I want to cry.
Ugh why can't you get the Wabbajack in Oblivion
You can get it
DARKMalice9000 How???
Go north of Leyawin near a wayshrine
Cheeeese!
Hanibal Hawkwing ohh my god.
Sheogorath is been stated that he may be the Hero of Kvatch (your oblivion character).
***** he means in skyrim you can meet your character from oblivion
***** The original sheogorath died when Jyggalag return. And when you beat Jyggalag in combat the cycle ends between the two switching meaning Jyggalag doesn't change to sheogorath. After you beat Jyggalag, he announce that the hero of kvatchin is the new Daedric Prince of Madness.
"There are two known artifacts of nocturnal...". Yeah... She has a badass bow
Am I the only one that comes back to these and watches them over every once and a while?
Same.
i kinda sold my soul to every sinle deadric prince/princess there is. What's gonna happen when i die? Maybe eternal fun as i watch them argue to see who'll have my soul lol
Ask Hermaeus Mora... he knows everything :D
They can't share, my contract with Nocturnal said that my soul must stay in the mortal plane to protect the Twilight Sepulcter, but also, Hircine need me on the hunting grounds. those two don't share!
So i'm right in assuming that i'll have fun as they tear each other apart for my soul?
man when I first played oblivion, I didn't know there was fast travel. walked to places for two hours..
Brendan Crawford lmaooooooo
Bruh the first time I heard vaerminas realm was called quagmire I immediately thought of the character from family guy
I've only watched 30 seconds, and I've already fallen in love with this video. Oblivion's Reign of the Septims does that to me...
Nope, Daedra lords can't be killed by mere mortals, even in their planes of Oblivion. They just float right back up on the Waters of Oblivion.
You got it right you even killed a deadra in oblivion.
This video makes me want to Jyggalag my Wabbajack!
The one that started the series! Thank you for this gem!
Sheogorath is my only God.
+Andy Wilson CHEESE!!
Yup totally

+Andy Wilson If you're riding a narwhal, mind the pointy end!
Listening to this makes me think that I, the player, is the Daedra playing with a mortal in their world. No, even stronger than any Daedra... with console commands and mods :P
c1jersey Its not the daedra's world per say, but it might as well be since one prince could probably wipe out tamriel.
In the console you can kill anything instantly by typing in "kill" after clicking on an entity.
Azurah the creator, Hermorah the tide-strider, Hircine the hungry cat, Sheggorath the skooma cat, Merrunz Ja'Khajiit, Mafala the clan mother, and Sangiin of blood and life. These are the Deadra the Khajiit trust.
Probably one of the best videos I've seen on The Elder Scrolls series
Odd how most of these artifacts can be found in Skyrim...
Axel Black because they are supposed to be held by a worthy champion
Axel Black there was a heavy presence of Daedra in Skyrim than other games...for side quests
Axel Black not at all. Men are believed to have descended from the void. Which was represented by the protogod Padomay. Which created the Daedra.
Axel Black I'm sure the devs didn't want to leave anything out
Sheogorath, Clavicus Vile, Sanguine. Yeah I like them crazy.
Hell yeah!
TO THE ASH PIT WITH YOU
*;)*
Yknow whats crazy. Ive met and finished the quests of these Daedra and acquired their artifacts and was just like... meh, daedras. Then after i watched your videos i was like HOLY SHIT I MET A GOD.
This is the best series ever on game lore.
Thank you, you have a wonderfull approach. Sometimes a fall asleep listening in the sofa. But that's a good thing.
You have a great storyvoice.
