Love how Natasha talks about a few of the adjustments and difficulties of moving in and living tiny as well, rather than only the positive aspects. Lovely video and extremely helpful, thanks! ❤️
This seems like one of the most livable tiny houses I've seen in the sense that there aren't a lot of things to open up, unlatch, replace every day, etc etc. That's the part of the lifestyle I've always found daunting.
It is such a cute little house. I like that she tells you the negative and positive aspect of owning a tiny home. And to tell us to save money for the house as well. Great video!
So nice to see this woman going off the normal path to be able to be financially free! She's a very inspiring woman I think and also has an absolutely beautiful tiny house! :)
Tiny houses are NOT the problem . THEY are easy . WHERE to put them is the REAL problem . THAT is a real problem .Two people can easily fit in a tiny house . The location of it is really ,make or break . . Tiny houses always seem to be in the middle of nowhere .MOST people in tiny houses are not quite as independent as people think . They tend to use relatives and friends resources a fair amount to enable their tiny house living.. Still ,good luck to them .
I agree, WHERE to put them is a big issue, but more and more places are allowing them so that's good. I can only speak for me, but I've been using the resources of relatives and friends well BEFORE I was tiny. Even so, many tiny houses are out in the middle of nowhere because they're not quite legal, but do still very much enjoy the company of relatives and family. Just because they may live in semi-isolation, doesn't mean they want to be isolated!
I just watched a build outside Colorado Springs that was on the side of a hill. He bought the land very cheap because any normal house couldn't be built there. Dug out just enough of the side to place his house on and built an off grid tiny home. With housing prices and land prices so high in that area what a genius idea!
Annie Dayton, MSN, RN it’s also better than moving BACK IN with relatives due to cost of living, divorce, etc. We’re currently looking for land to homestead and my adult daughter will have a tiny house on the property but she will help on the homestead and that’s a fair trade in our eyes. Most of us want to help family members succeed and especially if you’re compensating them as you are it can benefit your family as well. I wish you a fulfilled life, Namaste 🙏🏼
MOST people in LARGE houses are not quite as independent as people think . They tend to use relatives and friends resources a fair amount to enable their OVERSIZED house living, and they're often crowded together, with no land around them.
So true, especially when the tiny home is considered " illegal". Usually in areas that are over priced & overcrowded & developers feel monetarily threatened by tiny housing:) lol
I am at that stage where I am watching every single RUclips videos about tiny house. Hopefully within the next two years I will have my own tiny house. Also I love IGOR 😻😻😻😻
I like this house a lot...the space is well laid out. I also like that she was open and truthful about her learning curve. She was very articulate. I also like that you do not comment and ask questions on camera. Very nice video.
What a great inspiration! I love this tiny house. My dream is to retire into a tiny house. I definitely like the ideas Natasha implemented as well as her experiences with winter and summer weather. Excellent video. Thanks for sharing!
I love that she mentioned the struggles but also how relieving it is to own your own home, with minimal debt. I really want to be able to afford my own place one day, and have it be all mine, just the way I want it. :) these tiny and cob homes are so inspiring to me
What a lovely home she designed! I really like the thinking behind the stairs vs. a ladder to access the second level. After living in it for awhile, do you know if there is anything she would change about her tiny home? Thank you for all of the sharing of information you do through videos. Much appreciated!
You have a wonderful home and I completely agree that your adorable cat is a complete necessity. Your cat looks like my Mr kitty 22 years of so much love. Much happiness always . Love and Light
@@anitamiller8585 Thank you! In my current situation, I take a hose and attach it to the main house and then hook it up to my house and fill my holding tank.
Loved this video, love how she mentioned the things that took getting adjusted to and the ins and outs of things living tiny. I love the layout of her tiny home, and how things have worked for her. This was a very eye opening video and how living tiny has worked for Natasha.
Natasha has so many great points! Esp how great it is to be able to move anywhere you want! But the saving beforehand & the weatherization were really good issues to point out. This clip to me, was one of the best!
What a lovely home! So nice and cozy. Thanks for giving some insight on the adjustments and decisions you made and did. I believe that the reason you don’t have humidity issues is because it’s just you, you shower at work, do laundry at your brothers and don’t cook much. All these factors keep your moisture down.
I also really like that she pointed out that she has space for a clothes washer, but has no washer. That just goes to show that if she needs one, she can get one. Makes your tiny living lifestyle less dependent on others, which is normally the opposite with those setups.
I just realized after watching several tiny houses, how important it is to really invest on land. I don't think living in a tiny but renting a piece of land to put it up will never give you a debt-free life. That's why it made me realize how blessed we are back in the Philippines where everyone's goal is to own a house built in our own land. Renting a place and land to live in for the rest of our lives is never in our long term goal.
I can see your point and one day when they are all finally legal we will own land too. But the amount we pay to rent the land to park it on is still much cheaper than the property taxes a traditional homeowner has to pay regardless if they own their house outright or still have a mortgage on it. They will always pay property taxes ever year too.
Thank You for sharing!!! I'm the same way via location, neighbors, saving, funds, owning✔You said & answered many points one needs to know. For me I'm always looking for the honest advice via things gone wrong, lessons learned, pointers to avoid, corrections, how to avoid, cold weather, wood issues, humidity issues, skirt around bottom, toilet & ac/heating....Love your house design indoor/outdoor & color too! Very beautiful🍃🍃💙💚💛🧡💜
Thank you! I'm always learning, but it's not just because I choose to go tiny, this is also my first time owning my home. I was a renter my entire life up until this point. I think many people here forget that (maybe I didn't mention that in the video, I should have if I didn't!).
@@stafonvoncamron that's called a fisheye lens, and they didn't use that. She's a tiny lady too. I'm 5'10"... probably look a lot smaller with me in it ...lol
Now this is a tiny house I could get behind. I mean, less than 100sqft is just crazy. This is nice size, there is a great open floor plan, pretty lofts, lots of storage, room for a full size couch, and you could even have dog. The only thing I would want would be a dedicated cooktop, 2 or 3 burner stove, and a microwave.
She is really nice and very honest about all the things you need to know. I love her home and I hope she does end up staying there. I really enjoyed this.
Really like this. Thank you for adding the practical points like the skirting with vents and the stairs. My retirement plan definitely includes a tiny house. Funny thing is when I hear about the square footage of "tiny" houses and compare it to my current home in town, which is about the same size. I find it very large.
You did an amazing job. The loft is perfect...the staircase is genius. So many people go into tiny living with no though and they never seem to have seating...your sofa is so comfortable looking!
You can do laundry in water by hand. When I lived in Quebec City I didn't pay for laundry ever. Washed them in water and hung them up. Had one pair ready for the next day, lol.
What a wonderful design. Tiny houses have always seems functionally missing something. This layout and design looks more functional although I think I'd like a little more counter space.
As much as I don't like to cook, I'm finding a little more counter space would be good too! Sometimes I just need a place to put down stuff for a moment.
I’ve seen many episodes about tiny houses on Netflix and some of them have a full size kitchen and are really nicely planned. I was thinking it would be a cool idea to make 2 tiny houses and connect them to create more living space, but still movable
I really appreciate the design of the house especially how the kitchen and the bedroom are on opposite ends. In many of the designs, they have the loft above the kitchen w/the stairwell to the loft over the kitchen counters. I don't like that; it makes think that if the feet are dirty, then dirt particles could drop to the counter. Ick! Nice vid. :)
I thought only I felt that way over stairs next to kitchen layouts. Open stairs, no, open stairs that incorporate the end of a kitchen counter, are THE WORST! 🤢😆
Loved her tiny house and she has a lovely voice too and she does not take most of the video on one topic watched the whole video, she made it informative and pleasant x

Hi Renelephant, My husband & I hope to do 1-week rentals in a tiny house, RV, and if possible, a Schoolie. We want to know how they each feel. Sure, this would be our downsized retirement housing with options to travel (yayy!). Plus, he’s almost 6’3” & I have several chronic pain conditions, so the ergonomic details with each type of housing will matter a lot to us.
When my cousin’s health became compromised in her 40’s..her dad, who had been in the construction business, built a tiny house on their property...about an acre and a half in a neighborhood..so she lived there comfortably and as her parents aged, she was able to take care of them... now she lives with her little dog in their house...the little house has become more of a storage house...but with a little work it could be rented out...she just doesn’t want to..her parents old house is small also..about 800 square feet..
Thanks for sharing Natasha! Very professional video with good advice and tips for those of us that are looking to do the same. You're a very intelligent soul! Bless you!
I love to watch videos about tiny houses, I love the tips, also because here in europe many houses are really small and you have to learn to live small
I liked this video, firstly I’m a fan of tiny houses, they’re so amazingly cool and cosy. But I’m really glad that someone like this girl in this video is stating the facts about needing some saved money before you get a tiny house, and about the concerns with the different seasons especially the winter, in looking after your tiny home. You don’t normally hear much about how things can affect or problems you can have. So that’s really important to know. Shouldn’t put us off from getting a tiny house, but something else to really look into before getting one. 👏🏻😊
I feel a lot of videos out there glorify things and make everything seem perfect. There are definitely some pros and cons and some things to get used to for sure!
Love how Natasha talks about a few of the adjustments and difficulties of moving in and living tiny as well, rather than only the positive aspects. Lovely video and extremely helpful, thanks! ❤️
They were things you haven't heard of either, very useful

I'm glad she share both the positives and negatives with iving in a tiny house. Good info for people thinking about this life style.
I love the design of the stairs and loft area. Makes the area feel more like an upstairs living space rather than accessed and used only for sleeping.
This is probably the best tiny house I have seen so far.
I loved how honest she was when it came to problems she faced..really a learning experience
It definitely has been, and continues to be, a learning experience!

We probably got the idea to live tiny FROM you!
Her house is lovely and so is she.
Awww, thanks!
Wow, what a beautiful tiny house. Definitely one of my all time favorites! 🙂
Thank you!
