    Hi.
    Can you tell me the product name of the yellow jack you used to drop the battery pack?
    Did you also use the yellow jack to lift the battery pack when installing it in the vehicle?

    Interesting comments, I am wondering why not any defect which are millions on ICE cars are not classified as junk, perhaps we should all go back in history and ride horses, but also horses need treatment and doctors to function BTW. 😂🤣 EV clinic well done job

    Do you sell refurbished battery packs, or could you refurbish mine? It is from a 2013 model S 60 , 76,000 miles or 122,310 kilometers

    If water goes inside one battery module, does it necessairly needed to be replaced and/or refurbished ?

    I assume driving thru deep puddles & flooded roadways led to the water intrusion?

    Could you permanently remove two modules to create more rear passenger legroom, jus like in some other EVs? Thank You.

    Why Tesla doesn't repair it on warranty?

    • @JetFire9
      @JetFire9 7 месяцев назад

      Because this is a very temporary repair that will fail again in less than a year. It’s throwing good money after bad. Car should have been scraped with that many miles. So many things are ticking time bombs on it and it really needed a $20k battery replacement.

    • @T.S.CUSTOM
      @T.S.CUSTOM  6 месяцев назад

      Warranty expired and this is easily repairable making the battery seal like from the factory and good to go for another 200k km. This can be prevented by regular maintenance of the battery every 200k km.

    You should be checking all sections for water... I had water ingress through one broken bottom plug and water got in every sections of the battery when it got isolation fault. Leftover water probably won't cause isolation errors again but will slowly rust the battery cells...

      What year was yours?
      From what I've seen, the 2012-2014's have the most problems with water ingress, and drive unit failures.

    • @tesla_nerd
      @tesla_nerd 7 месяцев назад

      @@BradKwfc 2016, it was due to accident. suspension broke n battery skid cover hit something n cracked the vent. Can't see it unless u remove those skid covers on both sides of pack. lesson learned.

    I’ll stick to gas powered vehicles!!!!
    This looks like quite a chore, and a dangerous one at that. ….and I doubt very much that those shields, sealants, and screws on the battery pack will hold up in the snowy salt belt regions of this country.

    • @T.S.CUSTOM
      @T.S.CUSTOM  6 месяцев назад

      Well it actually holds on most packs, ussualy longer than oil seals on ice engine so...

    • @T.S.CUSTOM
      @T.S.CUSTOM  Год назад +1

      The battery capacity is almost like brand new and the car has 260000 km on it. Battery was not replaced but refurbished. I would not call it junk just because it had water ingress

      @@T.S.CUSTOM junk is harsh, I agree. Guess what I see in the news about Tesla and Musk made me say that. I once wanted the model 3, but after two years waiting, the price doubled, I got a Honda.
      Guess I will wait for H2 cars if they ever come in bigger numbers and aren't as expensive as they are now.

    • @T.S.CUSTOM
      @T.S.CUSTOM  Год назад +4

      @@rjung_ch Just consider all the service intervals price on a ICE car in 260000Km. After that mileage, a complete engine rebuild in most cases is required. After that add money spent on gas for that mileage. It will turn out that it is less expensive to buy entire new battery pack for tesla than driving a ICE car. We just had a 500000 Km tesla serviced with original battery. They are not perfect but still one of the best EV's on the market even used ones with high mileage.
