I’m British but love American muscle cars. To me, the best looking two cars in American history for pure ‘mean presence’ are the 68/69 Dodge Charger, and it’s brother the Dodge Challenger. Amazing cars. 🇬🇧
The 67 Barracuda is a thing of beauty too. I'd absolutely love one.
70's used plastic for grille and taillight frame but 71' were made out of pewter and now hard to find.
Damn, I miss my 71 Challenger!!!
Me Too. My first Car, 71 R/T, 17, 1300 bucks, 1982.
Amazing, to your knowledge of Mopar.
Should have done the full walk around with the challengers because the taillights and panel are different, as were the R/T stripe packages.
I'm biased, my first car was a 1971 Challenger R/T, Red, White stipes & Interior, 383 Magnum, slap-stick auto, I got it in 1982, 1300.00 bucks. Damn I wish I still had that car.😭
You left out the tail lights. That was the major difference between '70 and '71
Great episode, but i have to say, it's not the best looking, style wise anyway.
But the resto job more than makes up for that.
Such a cool show.
'70 Is my favorite.
My Dad had the 70 Challenger. He bought it brand new, same month I was born.
So, when I bought my 392 back in 2018...I had to thread a needle. I did NOT want the '71 Homage. They changed to that in 2015. I had to have the 392...which did not come about until 2011. There was no way I was getting a 302 without a 6 speed tremec.
So I had to shop between 2011 and 2014, for a black or red SRT with a 6 speed tremec. It took me three months to find that exact car. But screw compromise. I did not like the '71/'15 changes.
Great show!!! 👍👍👍
i like both myself but being that i have 2 71 challengers
Okay how come there's a 75 up Camaro sitting next to the 70 Roadrunner that's getting all new sheet metal ?
Thank you
I’m sure Alyssa drove the road Runner even if it was in the lot she didn’t look disappointed 👍❤️
1971⚡🔥
Question Mark? Why dont we ever see your wife helping out with those beautiful Graveyard Carz?
Both years had the best hoods.
I absolutely love Alyssa and find her sweet, funny and gorgeous but I watch her learn from Mark and dont see a fire in her to actually immerse herself in Mopars deeply enough to carry on his legacy. Maybe she will keep those with it working for her when its hers but she loves doing hair and cosmetics so I wonder if she will just sell GYC when the day comes that its hers...? Any thoughts yall?
How much Dodge Challenger 1970
i want Dodge Challenger 1970
I’m partial to the 71 myself. The tail panel is nicer on the 71.
R/T Stripe package too. I'm biased, first car was a 71 R/T
@@MOColumbia I’m a muscle car guy no matter what big three made them. I do own a true RS/SS 69 Camaro but all pony cars are awesome. What color, interior, and drivetrain did yours have? Being an R/T minimum is 383.
@@ellisonlowrimore7751 Red, White Stripes, slap-stick auto A727TF, 383 Magnum. I do have an old polaroid picture, but can't share that here. I did swap the 8.75, for a D60.
@@MOColumbia what a sweet ride. I know back in the day that the cost of these rides would never be so crazy. Not planning on selling mine ever!
@@ellisonlowrimore7751 1300 bucks is what I payed for the R/T in 1982
Say what you mean mean what you say
Good program; Marks not him stupid self and this was really good 🤓😷
Who's Mike?
First time watching, owner of shop appears to be,goofy, selfish and wants all the attention,it does appear that they do top notch work
