The CG side looks less dewy and more smooth than the Chanel. It seems to provide a bit more coverage. I used the CG over my tinted SPF and it worked very well and dried down nicely.
That’s an accurate description! I think people tend to get hung up on which side looks “better” while forgetting that each side works well for a different person, skin type, and overall look. Neither is bad, they’re just different

I think both sides look great on your skin, but I think the cover girl looks the best🤷♀️I love Chanel products too and have the water fresh tint, but the cover girl is on its way and I’m excited to try it! Thanks for the thorough review!
I think the covergirl looks better on camera bc I had a bit more coverage. That said I love them both but excited for an affordable option now 🤗

Thanks! I think it’s about how much coverage someone wants. There are plenty of people who want sheer coverage, so for them the Chanel side works better. They both are lovely, just different amounts of coverage 🩷

I've been watching videos comparing the Chanel tint to the Covergirl but I had no idea there was that other one you mentioned?(complexion touch) Personally, I'd be really interested seeing a comparison between the 2 Chanel ones with the pigments..❤

It's a little difficult to tell if the cover girl is better or if it just has better lighting. That side of your face definitely has more light on it and that makes a difference
Not more light because I have studio lighting, it’s just that the product has more coverage, so it looks more perfected 👌🏼 they’re both lovely, and I think just for different looks/budgets

CoverGirl sits on my skin and feels gross for some reason. I love rose inc but the jump between shades is tricky
It sat weird on my skin the first time I wore it too. It was the sunscreen I had on underneath. Might be worth changing your skincare/sunscreen and see if that helps
Honestly, i like the Cover Girl side of your dace better. The Chanel side looks wet…
Haha the cover girl is much better for those with oily/combo skin whereas the Chanel for dry skin, so that’s why it would look like that.

It’s still waaaay less than Chanel, and the more I wear it the more I think it’s worth it for sure!
Cover girl & Maybelline are usually cheaper. Maybelline for lashes was my first mascara. Cheaper so..... Now?
Cover girl cheated. Rose Inc and Chanel are silicone free. Not a fair battle. Silicones do have magic powers but, for us allergic to “cone’s”… Chanel wins.
Probably helps lower the price, but just a guess
