I appreciate when you give the “why” for best or worst application or “why” for pro vs personal use. These pointers stick with me and your sweet voice is in my head when I’m applying my own makeup. ❤
I feel like I just attended a pricey masterclass without the hefty price tag. All your tips are genius! Thank you so much!! Will definitely put what I learned into practice.🙏🏼❤️
Nikki, thank you for this great tutorial. I’m a 71 yr old woman who still loves makeup but at my age it’s essential that I blend all my makeup well especially blush. Love all your tips, I’ve learned so much.
I was putting powder blush right on top of foundation. I will be correcting application method. 63 and have learned so much watching you. Thanks, you are amazing.
Masterclass. I’m a makeup lover of a certain age yet I always learn so much from you. This was priceless. Now I don’t have to replace all my blushes. And a sweetie and an animal lover too (I’m vegan). Thank you! 🤍
Just subscribed today! 52! I had a blush snafu Saturday night so this was perfect timing. Except for now I want to buy three of the most expensive formulas! Yay! Thank you!
I couldn’t agree more! I learn so much from her way of teaching us and it makes sense. I also love that her advice is for all skin types, including mature skins. I love being near 65 and more into makeup now than I ever have been! Nikki makes me want to keep learning ❤
Your channel deserves way more subscribers! Your makeup advice is always so helpful and the reviews are informative. I love that hand trick to make pigmented blushes more softer and blended. Thank you for taking the time and making these videos! ❤
My favourite thing about Saturday is watching your videos with a cup of coffee!! Also, a great topic for a video - I don't think I've seen one like this before x
I can't believe how many mistakes I make when applying blush! Thank goodness you taught me/us the proper way. It's so easy to follow your instructions, and I appreciate that so much. Thank-you for all of your guidance, Nikki...💜💜💜
Thank you so much Nikki! As a woman of mature years I have been struggling to apply blush without looking like a doll….. Your tutorial was just what I needed to achieve a delicate application with both crème and powder formulas. Thank you. Xx
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Lots of good tips and tricks for this 65 year old! Some days I battle so much with my blush looking like a clown! Will definitely try this out ! You are awesome girl!
I absolutely ❤ when you show us how not to do things and explain why. I have so many 💡moments so ty! An idea might be to do a deep zoom (if you feel getting even more up close at your face!) as the final shot on the don’t as sometimes you can really see what’s wrong about the don’t but other times it just looks off but you can’t exactly see why. Thank you again for taking the extra time to explain why. It’s beyond helpful!!
I have followed you a while and have no idea how I missed this video,,, it may be the best one you’ve shared. I’m almost 60 and I still learn so much from you! Thank you for these *master classes*
I love this!! I love that you review products but the focus is more on skill and tips/tricks. It makes sense since makeup is your job but it's clear you love it and your take on it all is so refreshing!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
concealer guide next please! this can be a whole series targeting one type of product category n the variations within at a time! im learning soooo much thank you!
For the longest time I didn’t buy blushes because I always felt they looked so clownish and unnatural on me. For years I only owned two Chanel powder blushes that I used for special occasions, otherwise I would just skip the step altogether. I realize now since watching you that my dislike of blushes comes from not knowing how to apply them. These techniques have really made me enjoy wearing blush and not feel like I’m wearing clown paint.
I love to watch your videos.I used to do my makeup so quickly.I thought no makeup look that was my jam.i can do just 5 minutes and out of the door.Lately I spend more time blending all the products on my face and patient applying lip liner and lip products on.I used all your advices. Its a big difference and I love it.Thank you for making all very information from you.❤❤
OMG Nikki thank you so much for this! I literally have been having an issue with a new blush that I bought. I love love love the blush, but it kept going on patchy. This makes SO much sense.
I have been applying makeup longer than you have been alive and your tutorial on how to apply the different blushes was a revelation. I have been loving the cream blushes but have been having streaking problems. Thank you!!
Every mistake I’ve made with my blush recently has been answered. Seriously, thank you Nikki! I am a hairstylist with some knowledge of makeup application, but I feel like you speak to me with the questions I have. ❤
Hi Nikki. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your tutorials. You are a wonderful teacher and I have learned so much from you. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for taking time out to educate us all on makeup application. I am 65 years old and have learned so much from you thanks to your superb teaching skills. I have spent the last 10 years really educating myself about skincare but have neglected the makeup side of things. I would love a video on Korean makeup favorites. Your friend Alex Anele recommended Clio mascara (Korean) and it is such a beautiful formulation that it has peaked my interest. Then your channel made me try the TirTir foundation with your application technique and I love it. I want more Korean makeup recommendations!!! Thank you again for your willingness to teach those of us who need those special tips and tricks
Nikkiii! Love this series! I hope you can also make a video on lip prep for really dry lips. I've tried all the hacks like balls and basting and scrubs but none work. Much love ❤
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I am so glad I found your channel. I appreciate your in-depth explanations that include why and how. There are too many people on line who don’t show products properly. Or they discount the quality of the product because they don’t actually know how to apply it.
I would love to see a video trying out Sephora concealers. With the upcoming sale I could use some guidance on which concealer/concealers I should buy to get the best deal. I enjoy your content and trust your recommendations! ❤❤
Right!!!??? I have NEVER seen a prettier looking blush! I didn't even know there was such a thing as a loose powder blush! I am adding it to my cart asap!
Indie cosmetics make loose powder blushes. I have some that are bright and beautiful. Can be absolutely intimidating. Loose powders for eyes and face are what I use mostly. Palettes are easier to see the colors. But I enjoy the versatility of loose powders. Hope you enjoy the new experience!!
So glad you’re showing this, I see so many not preblending on their hand and it makes so much difference! As far as the loose blush, their are many other than the Givenchy, there’s L’Oréal, Bare Minerals, Pacifica, just to name a few.
Nikki, thank you for teaching me so many things I had no idea I NEEDED to know. Thank you for continuing to invest your time sharing your artistic gifts to bring out our beauty within.
Hi Nikki. Great tips on applying all different formulas of blush for flawless looks. You’re an amazing teacher in application of all makeups and eyeshadow applications. What would we do without you? We would be a mess. Much love and thank yous for brining to us such great applications of makeup.
I love this video it was so informative! I feel like no other beauty content creator has really approached this quite like you. I really appreciate it! ❤
I’m so glad that I found you! Your tips have definitely improved my makeup game. As a product lover, I would be really interested in seeing your professional makeup kit. Please consider doing a video so we can get a glimpse into what you use on your clients! 🤩
Dear Nikki, this tutorial is the best thing I 've ever seen among the hipe of useless videos. I bought Givenchy Prisme Libre blush #6 a month ago and all the trials to tame it turned out a patchy-sppotty disaster... unless I saw this video. It works, I mean, it really does. Thank you sooo very much, your help just can not be over-appreciated 💋❣😚
I cannot wait to try. I was thinking I might return it and be the only one not in love. I couldn't believe RUclips showed me this Nikki La Rose how to with the very same blush!! User error 100%.
I admire your work so much! It’s amazing how generous and honest you are! Sharing your experience and knowledge with us! It’s so rare to find such a generous person! Million thanks to you! ❤
Nikki, I am so grateful for having found you. You are the best teacher! I've learned so much from you, and I think Sephora is grateful too because when I learn how to use a product I go buy it! You're honest with us and so generous sharing your knowledge, expertise and "tips". Thank you!
Thank you so very much. You have no idea of how much I learned watching this video. I paused and went to try my blusher your way. What a difference - Will continue to do it your way ❤❤
Nikki-thank you so much! I finally can get my blush to look more natural. I was looking pretty clown like before. I feel so much better. Your brushes help so much too. I so appreciate your very helpful videos. ❤
I recently found you thru Lisa J. Plan to buy your brushes for mother's day. But I wanted to say I watched your Sunday Brunch video before work Thursday and went on my lunch and bought that Patrick Ta blush. It looked so gorgeous on you and I had to have it right away...and its just as gorgeous in person. So glad I found your videos. You are so talented and I learn so much from your videos! Thank you!
The video is really great. I've watched it several times. I had a cream blush but started using it when you showed me how to use it. Now, it's my go-to choice. Your techniques have inspired me to be more adventurous and try out different formulas.
I've tried the technique where you place it on the top of your hands, then swipe with the brush and then onto the face. Hands down the best technique ever. I used to place dots on my face😅. Thank you, Nikki, for all the tips. Chefs 💋
Thank you for the advice, I have gone with your advice on more dewey foundations as my skin is mature and my old types werent working, and wanted to try a fresher, stain type blush for summer. I ordered a Milk one and now, thanks to you, I know how best to apply it. Yourself and Marlena Stell have been great sources in my re-education for more mature skin and I appreciate having both of you to advise so much!

This video - your techniques - have SAVED me from tossing out products I just thought were awful. They weren't awful, my application was awful! Now I feel like I have all new blushes in my collection simply because I now know how to apply them correctly! You are AMAZING!
Thank you for recommending blending the liquid blush on your hand first. Besides that it looks better, it's much more comfortable on my rosacea. I can't believe I was dragging it around for so long!
Pink blush is the most gorgeous blush shade ever. It can go from warm to cool and work on almost everyone. It gives instant youth and cuteness to the face. Love it.
Thank you so much for sharing your pro techniques! I learned a lot from all the videos I've watched on your channel. I only have a flat top brush, so when I save enough money, I'll definitely buy myself some nice brushes and apply the techniques I've learned from you! Concealer, blush, and everything nice
I just wanted to say thank you for making truly educational content! I have been doing my makeup since I was 15 and an OG RUclips beauty community follower ( we’ re talking the shaky cameras back in 2007 😄) and I thought there isn’t anything else under the Sun that I should know to perfect my makeup application. I mean it looks good on me and I get always compliments on my technique and skill. But boy was I wrong! I have learned so much in the couple of weeks since subscribing. Like I applied this morning my blush with some small tweaks I learned from this video and WOW 🤩 without changing a single product in my makeup bag, I feel my makeup looks better than ever. Imagine what it will be like when I get some of your recommended products as well 😂 Thank you for sharing your endless talent with the non professional makeup enthusiasts ❤
Thank you so much Nikki for teaching us how to apply the blush. The tap tap tap and applying powder before putting the powder blush solve my problem of patchiness after applying blush. Love all of your contents and everytime i watch your vlogs it's a stress reliever for me. Your brushes is on my wishlists. 😍🤩

So glad you showed how to use the Givenchy blush! I have it and had such a hard time getting it to apply evenly. Can't wait to try your tips!
I am so glad i found out about you on RUclips! You have helped me so much by teaching on how to apply makeup products correctly
8:37 If I’m using a pink plush I love using the one size pink powder first then applying blush. When using liquid blush I occasionally set with it at well.
