The electric beater trick to incorporate the cream cheese, cheddar, and meat is genius!
RIGHT?!?? I was thinking the exact same thing ✊🏼🧐
@@mikedelacruz3135 Exactly! Probably some secret Navy thing we're not supposed to know!
sssssshhhhhhh dont tell.....

@@philipcalvit3071 Right? Mad Scientist this guy!
I love jalapeño poppers. These look excellent my friend. I also like doing this with the mini sweet peppers as well. Take care and hope you all have a fantastic 2023!
Thanks! You too bud...I appreciated the support
Great way to do those, the quintessential All-American side. Healthy too. Low carb, gluten free and uses vegetable, protein and dairy.
Absolutely spot on....thanks Brad
That is a platter I can get excited about. Beautiful!
You and me both!
love poppers I make mine very similar. (will have to smoke my next ones) 😉 thanks for sharing.
Awesome bud....i really thought about adding some smoked gouda as well
I have the same measuring spoons LOL. They are great! I returned my smoker for a Blackstone Grill but I can smoke on my Weber Kettle.
ahahah as long as you have both...i personally think its the best combo in cooking...matter of fact...i think I might bring out my weber this weekend for a video...
Don't have the smoker so immediately got this to my son, the smoker lover, for him to view and make. Now once they are ready, if he saves me some, I can easily make sure the recipe is as tasty as you say HA.
Hey...use that oven...I would add maybe a chipotle pepper in the mix for a little more smoke flavor...I know ya got this...I even created a recipe for ya..ahhahaha
@@TheFlatTopKing, see, that is why you are the Doc of the griddle!! Always got a way to help us.
Man i was just thinking of making some of those and your video popped up thanks for the video I definitely will try to them like that way something different then I usually do they look freaking good
yeah...thats exactly what I was thinking....just something different
Jalapeño poppers have always been my go to appetizer. You’ve perfected them
Hey thanks bud...honestly these were way better than those smoked shotgun shells...thanks bud
Yeahhhhh....I could eat that whole platter!!! Sick man, and loving that chipotle crema and the cilantro, excellent!!!
So good Paul....seems liked the family liked em as well
Dang son! I never thought about using Mas Guapo on poppers. I'm glad you're enjoying it. That sauce looks incredible!
thanks bud....we liked it for sure
Ooosss one of the best appetizers
Absolutely and so versatile
Making something awesome on the smoker, way to go!😀👍
You got that right!
Looks absolutely amazing!
Thanks Floyd
Another great looking party side. Will try. Keep up the great work. GBO...
Have fun! GBO....
Already had plans to make them tonight. Ours are a lil different. We used FUD cheese, seasoned them with Kinder’s woodfired garlic, and wrapped them in bacon. We also have smoked mac n-cheese to go with the jalapeños. They are in the pitboss right now. My stomach is growling. Can’t wait !!!!!! 😋
Dont kill me .....what is FUD cheese
@@TheFlatTopKing it’s a Mexican cheese that when unpackaged becomes like a rope. We just cut to length of the jalapeño and wrap. It melts good though.

Killing it again
Thanks Wes
Now that’s duck camp food fight there! For desert try bacon wrapped large whole jalapeños stuffed with chocolate chip cookie dough. Salty, sweet, and some heat. On the smoker of course. The wife loves them!
heck yeah...I have some absolutely incredible funny stories duck hunting....
They look great! We smoked jalapeño poppers twice over the holidays. We love them!
yeah...hard to mess up and extremely popular with our family as well
I have made smoked bacon wrapped jalapeños but never made the sauce. I will definitely try making the sauce next time
Hope you enjoy it...
Awesome poppers Dude! Love the added sauce, as well as the extra meat in the filling. Great stuff. And a must to wear gloves when prepping the jalapenos! I learned the hard way lol
hahhaahha so did I......not to be gross.....but the other way...I had in the back on my mind about eyes and etc...but not the other man parts...yeah i know...
Mmm. My wife loves these. Will have to share it with her.
Another great video guys! College Saturdays and bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers go hand in hand👍... Keep em' coming!
Amen...
Holy smokes. Incredible. Send me some! How will you ever top that? Dang it boy.
hahahaha yeah they seemed to be a huge hit for the family...
those look sweeeeet.
TY
Oh mate, your recipes are phenomenal, absolutely stunning 👍👍👍😎🏴
Hey thanks bud....we try just to have fun and think somewhat out the box
They look great I have a suggestion If you can find shishito peppers they are good and would be great on the griddle.
i dont think that these should be prepared on the griddle...with the flipping and the amount of time it takes to cook bacon u would be better off cooking in oven..
You had me at bacon🥓😂👍
ahahahah I love the idea of some restaurants give you walking bacon...few strips on the house to go as you leave....
Bro, that’s a beautifully plated tray of Elevated Poppers 🫡✊🏼🧐!! I think I’m gonna try to make these for my 49er playoff game!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 idea with this one. When you mentioned it on the chicken fajitas episode, my interest was definitely sparked. Cheers y’all 👊🏼😎🤙🏼
haahhahaaa thanks MIke..big game coming up...for sure
Good job Mr. Delicious! These look excellent as always. Love the hand mixer, don't have to drag the KitchenAid out for a quick job.
Now its your turn...
@@TheFlatTopKing Definitely on the list!
I make those all the time, I found out that toothpicks really aren't needed. just wrap your bacon where it tucks under the jalapeno when you bake it.
Looked great. I'm curious if you swapped the treys during the cook. Hot side to cool side vice versa? Have a great day 🌤 🌶🍻
I did...I dont think I went left to right...but I now I just flipped around front to back....my back part gets hotter
Those were previously known as ABTs, atomic buffalo turds, in bbq circles. Yours look great. I frequently put chopped shrimp in mine. Gotta try the sauce. It sounds great, as well.
hahaah I did not know that..interesting bud
These are always a hit. Remember - Take out the toothpick!!! I generally will do that when I pull them off the smoker and before they're dressed with anything. Sometimes they get a little burned down and hard to see. You lose style points if one of your guests swallows a toothpick.
I love poppers, I’m curious how much those peppers cost you folks? They are sorta dear here, but we have grown them here with some success.
I think the Jalapeños were 2.49lb....
@@TheFlatTopKing Wow, that’s cheap, big beautiful ones too, I’ll send you a pic from our local store, I’m sure you’ll be amused *L*.
I have done these, but with sundried tomatoes and basil.
WOW.....yeah sounds good
Have you got a link please for those bad boy measuring spoons please, the magnet ones👍👍👍😎🏴
give me to the end of the day...thanks bud
Found em matey, on Amazon uk, ordered them😂😂😂👍😎🏴thanks though
I missed this post
slacking...
You’re right. Anything wrapped in bacon is better. Pops
Absolutely...bacon wrapped twinkies...bacon wrapped asparagus...etc..
Does the Microwave Queen like the bacon not being done enough?😂
Ya know....she loved em but did not say...let me ask...She said its so different...ahahhaha
How did you get that cream cheese open like a pro? I have done something like this, I think they where called armadillo eggs. Fill the peppers, wrap with sausage and then bacon. On the smoker. Glaze with anything you like. OH man. Also they where whole peppers cleaned out no tops.
Yeah I need to do them for sure...
How can I get my hands on the Mas Guapo? Tried online. No bueno. Love your content. Thanks
Well interesting...I honestly have no clue....I got it from a viewer and just assumed..that's what happens when you assume...sorry bud
I think I can make these.
What temperature was the start of cook? And how long on the first part of smoking?
250...for about an hour .then up to 450 till the bacon renders...
Those look awsome
Have you ever made armadilo eggs??
I have not...funny story...I bought the ingredients one day and literally forgot the dang sausage in the car for WAY to long..i had not bought all the ingredients again...I need to though...
Why do u let them sit after putting bacon and seasoning on?
Could u add the insdie of pepper yo the mix?
Well i still would take out the seeds just for texture...but the heat does come in the ribs so if you left those that would add spice...you could also add another heat if needed....like a chipotle pepper...or red pepper flakes..
Doesńt the sour cream make it a messy eat/
we didnt think so...it was just enough to step up the flavor...
How does the bacon dust wife like these? The reason I ask is more done bacon more yummy lol.
hahaha someone else asked this...its funny...she said she loved em and its just not the same thing..
Can I use publino peppers?
Yes....
@@TheFlatTopKing thanks! I can't take hot peppers
@@HOLY_SPIRIT_GOD well to keep the size and shape you can do they sweet baby peppers...look just like a Jalapeño but non heat
You should have put a few drops of liquid smoke in that sauce
Well the smoke from the smoker plus the chipotle had smoke...do you think it would have been to much
At 450° you won't get much smoke if any .... if you hit them at 225° first for a hour then cranked it up to 450° then you'd have more of a smoke flavor ... a few drops on the mixture wouldn't hurt ... puts the smoke flavor in the back ...

Too bad I do not own a smoker.
Smoking today for a fantastic video...even a standard charcoal grill will be good
Honey, you use prepackaged cheese all you want!! Grating cheese is just an unnecessary extra step in my opinion!!
Amen...hahaha thanks
$300 worth of ingredients these days. Lol
ahahaha that just the toothpicks...with the price of wood
Try battering them and deep frying. You can thank me later
sounds good to me
