    It's refreshing to see someone with a fullhead of dreads. Not say that hightop is bad. Simply cause i f with the hightop look but i rather keep a fullhead of hair and you inspire me

      @@ayomiflower well i kept the freeforms for a while and they looked good, i got a retwist not long ago and was humbled by the shrinkage but overall id definately recommended the journey bc the patience i have developed for myself and my hair is genuinely amazing. Try not to vompare yourself to others tho if u also go on the journey as u can get discouraged easily

      My hair is closer to 4c. For 3c hair it will work, but starting with shorter hair will be a lot easier

    im starting mine now i use to have long hair to my neck could of got dreads like i could of trimmed my hair to my eyes nd got it but i had to cut it all down but im starting with plats and its going pretty good

    Yo i cut my hair and got it shorter to about a buzz with a good amount of hour still on there and its been about 2 months since. Been using the sponge for a bit and got some sections going, when do you think its a good time to get a retwist? They aren't locked yet but i don't know when its time to twist em up

      Yes, but there will be a point where it just doesn't because your hair is too long

      Use a sponge to get it back up, but once you start getting hang time the flatness goes away

      it'll happed a lot in the early stage but if you just add a little bit of water and moisturizer then sponge it a little it'll do the job
