He still hears the yelling of “ILL SHOW YOU…” in his head, and the constant demands for more Jägerbomber. Interesting fact about bowling for anyone who didn’t know: the split that RT got on his first shot at 4:40 is actually harder to make than a 7-10. not to over analyze a funny haha bit, but I really like the "bad dad and his unloved children" dynamic because, as a content creator, RT has to strike the delicate balance of maintaining some form of bond with his supporters whilst simultaneously keeping the parasocial barrier between content creator and audience intact. and what's a bond a person can have that is both distant and one-sided, yet familiar enough to be vaguely affectionate? *bad dad!*

I love how we saw John Golf being fleshed out. At first he was a food father who could give less of a rats ass for the tournament. Eventually he developed drinking habits after failing to make the hole numerous times. Turning him into a belligerent father who takes his anger out on his caddy instead of his son. Notice how he gave his son tequila to encourage rather than punish. John Golf is a lousy golfer and a horrible partner. However, he is trying his best to be a good father. TL;DR John Golf is constantly a good father despite his drinking problems and anger issues
I'm glad John Golf has friends, I mean he's going to the bar but he's stopped drinking. Or maybe he works there and that's where he'll make the margaritas for his son.

I struggle falling asleep and often use your content to do that, not in a "your content is super boring" kind of way, but in a "you help me calm down and listening to you ramble is a nice way to end my evening." As someone who's been struggling recently, thanks for doing what you enjoy. keep on making great content.
I have never stimmed so hard in my life I don't think, seeing the second-ever RTGame video I ever watched get a sequel like this where he finally faces Matt in swordplay. Three years going strong. I wish RT a good recovery, and here's to Wii Sports Resort and the return of I Want Die in his natural habitat. While I'm making a sappy comment, I guess I'll make it more sappy. I've watched RT's videos since 2018, and the Wii Music video was the first I ever saw. Clicking on that video was an accident- I thought it was made by someone I was already watching- but boy it's an accident I'll never regret. I have fond memories of hanging out in the Discord, and a particularly vivid memory of being in a Minecraft live-stream chat anxious about getting a flu shot (I hate needles) when I wrote a message about that and sent it, and RT saw it and said he was uneasy around needles too. That year, and for that year alone, I was rather calm getting my flu shot. I know it was just another person in the live chat to him, but to me, one of my best memories from 2019 (which was a very traumatic year for me). 2020 and 2021 were really rough years for me, too, what with losing my cat and covid lasting longer than we could ever imagine, and these videos helped me feel something in some moments where it was either I felt nothing or only despair. My mom loves this channel (she knows him as the funny Irish guy who made a plague), and honestly I wouldn't be where I am now without it. There's a lot of things I can attribute to making me who I am, but this is one of the smaller, but still oh-so-cherished ones. Overall, thank you RT, and thank you to everyone in this community who's been kind and made great jokes in the chat and comments all these years. wow this is so sappy and I've edited it like 8 times lmao
When RT was talking about his fear of the bowling ball taking him with it down the lane I laughed because that happened to me when I was like- 10. It was too slippery to move so my dad had to come and fire-man carry me off It's a core memory that I remember with fondness :)
RT, I hope you realise you have somehow managed to make a completely new character more meme worthy than I Want Die through the power of a drunken Irish Golfer called John Green. It writes itself mate.
This was super fun, but I also feel obligated to tell RT that you’re supposed to shake the controller when you jump in wakeboarding, you get way more points way more quickly
I don't know why but the visual Image of RT just getting flung across the bowling alley because he didn't let go of the bowling ball is just too funny to think about.
The Person signing in John Golf "Mr Golf, Is that a shotgun in your bag ?" John Golf "Ah Nah that's just a special club don't you worry about it, perfectly legal" *sweating profusely* "first door on your left"
This is like the 10th time I’m watching this and somehow John Golf always hits me harder every time. I also see how that may be a poor choice of words… “I’LL SHOW YOU A HARD HIT!” “Mr. Golf, NO!”
This is the most I've laughed over the course of a video, especially during the John Golf arc; I've heard of the channel before but I've never had the chance to watch. Glad something finally popped up in my recommended!! Easy subscription.
Island flyover was always my favourite game. Felt so good to just fly right over people's heads in my very own plane, give tours to friends in 2 plane mode, find all the secret points, and just be recognized by the Miis of the island as the best Mii. Good times.
Put it on my CV how I conducted an efficient survey of the entire island to find the final I point after what mustve been a hundred hours looking for it as a kid. Got to 79 out of 80 again as an adult and thought I was gonna lose my mind but I got it XD
I never knew you could fly to that island and now my inner child is full of rage cause I spent many hours of my life desperately trying to find those last bubbles

John Golf was incredible. The commentary almost had me crying with laughter.
I was also mad dissapointed the Miis werent shown first in the annoucement, but when the live gameplay was shown with the miis, oh man was a I runnin to my wallet!
I think Nintendo already knew we would riot if we weren‘t allowed to also use Miis. I‘m surprised they still tried to make us like new characters though.
That's what I've been thinking too.
@@countcain the new models and designs are clearly meant to appeal to a different demographic, that will probably see these miis as their personal choice of mii thanks to the fact that they grew up with them.
Nostalgia is a hell of a drug
14:02 as someone who loves golf and watches it every single weekend I was CRYING laughing at this section it's so accurate lol
The boxing commentators are secretly vampires. Their initiation ritual involves capturing a freshly minted golf commentator and draining enough of their life force to leave them apathetic for life.
I like how RT's swordsmanship causes the sound effects to sound like that japanese drum rhythm that plays whenever Goemon or whoever does some samurai stuff.
No idea how someone can make my sides hurt from laughter when watching Wii Sports Resort not once, but twice. The surfing one in particular got me.
Loved this game as a kid, it's mad that it came out when I was 9. I remember wishing that it was a real island so I could visit it because it just looked so nice. Aside from the constant threat of an active volcano.

john golf is amazing but my absolute favorite part of this video is at 8:57 when dan tries to do the toad voice, produces a noise like a dying congested goose, and then laughs for 10 straight seconds. perfection
ÆNNNGGGHHH
I remember playing this game as a kid with my dad and flying a plane into the volcano because we could. Bowling was a lot of fun as well as the fighting ones. Always nice to take a nostalgic journey like this with RT going on about substance abuse
Trying to watch this past silent hours in my house is near on impossible. How am I supposed to contain my laughter as RT voices an entire cast of people surrounding the career of John Golf?!
The I want die arc never seems to end but a one question remains unanswered: _Why he wants die?_
I mean, have you looked at him?
Have you _seen_ his face???
Yes i have
And i find him handsome
@@jesucristocomentador9555 I want die simps is something I’ve never considered in the 21 years of my life and I wish I could go back to that state of ignorance
It's the "Does Bruno Mars is gay?" of the RTGame Universe
Narrator of Wii Sports gets home:
"Honey! I'm home!"
**starts to uncontrollably say 'Nice Shot'** **heads to his bedroom only to see his wife getting nailed by John Golf**
GETTING WHAT BY WHO
ILL SHOW YOU A NICE SHOT
"Hole in one!"
Honey you gonna love it here.
"Honey, it's not what it looks like!"
"I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE"
this entire stream was like the highlight of my month, GOD it was so fun and relaxing and nostalgic to watch
I’ve just got a mental image of John golf stumbling around the corse. Randomly pulling a bottle of whatever out taking a swig hitting his caddy and saying he took the shoot and to leave him be
This has to be one of my favorite videos of yours, not only - but mostly - because of John Golf.
john golf really stole the show tbh. may he rest in wii
TL;DR
John Golf is constantly a good father despite his drinking problems and anger issues
I'm glad John Golf has friends, I mean he's going to the bar but he's stopped drinking. Or maybe he works there and that's where he'll make the margaritas for his son.
Your golf commentary at 15:00 had me in tears. Absolutely needs to be animated!
John Golf is so abusive because he grew up with the pressure of being the son of Vanderbilt Wilhelm Golf, the inventor of golf.
4:06 reminds me of when one of my aunts came over and i was playing pacman party on the wii and my mom and aunt started talking about the traditional pacman game and i was like "you kno you can actually play it here right" and they were like "what really?" the amount of joy they had for the few half hour as they took turns playing it is just engrained my memory
oh thats so sweet i love that
John Golf attacking random people is strangely soothing to listen to while writing
“You walked all over him like his name suggests” - Some legend in Twitch chat
Yes i am on the verge of tears watching this. I've been watching your content both on youtube and twitch for a while now and seeing this just made me realise how long i've been watching you. I struggle falling asleep and often use your content to do that, not in a "your content is super boring" kind of way, but in a "you help me calm down and listening to you ramble is a nice way to end my evening." As someone who's been struggling recently, thanks for doing what you enjoy. keep on making great content.
I recently went bowling irl with my friends, and when one of us threw the ball backwards, we actually did the audience spin
I like how Matt gets a purple sword, very nice detail.
The whole ‘John Golf’ segment made me laugh so much my grin ached for hours especially the commentary. Now that is commentary!
Don't worry Dan, you can still play as Miis in Nintendo Switch Sports... as well as a squirrel. Don't ask.
I nearly choked on my food when RT started doing golf commentary on John Golf
I’LL SHOW YOU CHOKING ON MY FOOD
Yes
The tale of John Golf needs to live on forever
We thrive on sap here

We all have to get the sap out of our systems sometimes. The murder and abuse can always wait a bit longer 💕
hell yeah!! thats amazing ❤️ very happy rts been such a comfort for you, hes been that for me too
hope we can get more wii sports resort sometime soon
When RT was talking about his fear of the bowling ball taking him with it down the lane I laughed because that happened to me when I was like- 10. It was too slippery to move so my dad had to come and fire-man carry me off
It's a core memory that I remember with fondness :)
RT, I hope you realise you have somehow managed to make a completely new character more meme worthy than I Want Die through the power of a drunken Irish Golfer called John Green. It writes itself mate.
Damn, what a throwback, literally found your channel because of killing miis for sport in wii sport resort
The John Golf arc had me laughing far harder than I thought I could at the moment.
The first video game I ever played. Dominated at bowling, and was significantly disappointed when I tried real life bowling
This was super fun, but I also feel obligated to tell RT that you’re supposed to shake the controller when you jump in wakeboarding, you get way more points way more quickly
Kirbo has always loved your content, keep doing what your doing RT!
7:15 I love how hes gesturing, but because hes holding the Wiimote, it's picking it up and translating it to the game LUL
Feel better soon RT! We all love you, and are sending our well wishes. Take all the time you need to make a full recovery
I don't know why but the visual Image of RT just getting flung across the bowling alley because he didn't let go of the bowling ball is just too funny to think about.
15:33 omg I sent that message in chat! I honestly didn't expect RT to see it, I was honestly freaking out a bit when he did lol
The Person signing in John Golf "Mr Golf, Is that a shotgun in your bag ?"
John Golf "Ah Nah that's just a special club don't you worry about it, perfectly legal"
*sweating profusely* "first door on your left"
This is like the 10th time I’m watching this and somehow John Golf always hits me harder every time. I also see how that may be a poor choice of words…
“I’LL SHOW YOU A HARD HIT!”
“Mr. Golf, NO!”
This is the most I've laughed over the course of a video, especially during the John Golf arc; I've heard of the channel before but I've never had the chance to watch. Glad something finally popped up in my recommended!! Easy subscription.
I feel like John Golf and Gary Chess would be fast friends.

This went from a cute nostalgia trip to role-playing the worlds most angry golfer in no time flat.
During bowling, dad came back and continued his journey to drink as many cold frosty's while disregarding his child as possible
Matt will forever live on in our hearts as the most deadly Mii when the new game comes
I think this is the stream where RT finally went insane. he's talking to himself as John Golf. we just need a mii.
I remember fighting matt in my youth and actually having to use 100% of my brain for once
Wii sports has the Best memories
15:12 - John Golf can't get the ball in the hole, but has deadly precision when it comes to concussions
RT went from roleplaying as an abusive father to roleplaying as an abusive golfer.
Wii Sports Resort is a magical game.
The birth of a new RT persona is always a magical thing.
Welcome to the family, Mr. Golf!
(please don’t hurt me)
I love the personalities that some characters get, jhonn golf is absolutely great, i love that.
0:13 They are still in the game.
But anyway I still can't believe they're actually bringing back Wii Sports. And I see RT is playing swordplay the exact same way I used to play it.
Yeah Nintendo really seems to be trying to burry them
“You got a birdie!”
“I’ll show you my birdie!”
Oh God I've missed the miis so much
15:05 John Golf would be the guy to deliberately hit a ball into the grandstands at point blank with a Driver, and proceed to bludgeon the survivors with the remaining clubs in his bag.
13:03 even when rt's playing a character it's still an abusive father
That fine
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard as I did while watching Dan narrating John Golf shooting at his caddy
Hey RT! I grew up playing a game called go vacation, and it's literally an open world version of wii sports resort with 50 games plus hidden shit to find around the maps! I always recommend it to wii sports fans
John Golf is not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need.
