I'm super impressed with this new Proton Pack offering from Spirit Halloween! Just a few tweaks and addons and you'll have an even more awesome pack!
I'm excited for those who missed the Haslab crowdfund project! This is such an amazing release!
Doesn't matter what Pack you own! You're a real "Buster" to me and I will treat you as such! Let's do away with this "Elitist" BS culture and come together! We are better together!

What a time to be a GB fan. Those pricey, enthusiast-built packs were never going to end up in my hands but now, because of Hasbro and Spirit Halloween, I own three Proton Packs!
The modding opportunities for these are great (my original 3/4 scale got much love a couple of years ago). I'll need to check out your etsy for that HasLab cyclotron clear mod!
Agreed! I wasn't willing to spend that kind of money on those packs. Thank goodness for Spirit and Haslab!
I'm glad GB is getting its own renaissance lately, but I'm really glad this full size Spirit Pack came out after the Haslab one, or I would have gone for it, and passed on the Hasbro pack. Would have been a shame, neat as that one is, because my Haslab pack is the absolute gem of my little collection.. I smile every time I look at it, let alone turn it on (much credit due to your Cyc kit)!
We are a lucky bunch... The ones who were able to get our hands on a Haslab pack. Everyone gravitates to it when they come down to my basement.

Thanks for watching! I mean if that is the only way you can get it/is the cheapest you can find around you and you can spare the money I would get it. If you really want a nice full size proton pack that isn't breaking the bank I do think it's worth it. Hope that helps!

The sticker is not upside down on the wand. I heard from someone on another review in the comments that it is screen accurate to the Peter Venkman proton pack. I’ve seen several people review this on RUclips and they all keep saying it’s upside down lol when it’s not. Just got mine in the mail today and like it mostly. It’s great for the price.

It’s really weird that the spirit 1:1 looks just a tad bit bigger than the haslab, considering the haslab was an authenticated direct 3D scan of the movie prop.
How are you keeping them proped up like that?? What stand are you using?
No stands or anything fancy. I'm using some weights behind them to prop them up. Only one with a stand is the Haslab.
Great video! Because I was confused (on eBay) about the old and new model. Basically I didn't know there was a new 2023 release. Great comments comparison to expensive Haslab model.

When it is being shipped out of the country customs opens it up to inspect it. Then they repackage it.
I know some may not agree with me, but from 90 bucks to 250 bucks and they didn't include the lever to extend the clear tube at the tip of the want, no lights on the wand other than the firing light on the tip and the fact that none of the buttons on the wand work like the movie packs do still seems like they still jipped us. Yes I know other makers go for much, much more because they are more accurate but come on, for the new price they could have easily included those little adds to be a little more movie accurate. Now I'm not saying this isn't a nice pack to get. Even with my thoughts on the price I'll probably still get it but I'm sure they could have added those things.
Spirit quality is Spirit quality honestly. It’s its own beast that makes the same constant quality no matter the price range. But as someone who wants to build their own proton pack to be movie accurate, the 80% one makes no sense due to the size and the HasLab one is too expensive (for me) so this as a midrange priced starting ground? Isn’t bad if you want to modify it yourself

Great review! what kills the spirit pack for me is the solid bumper and speaker placement...other than, great pack for folks who missed the haslab. In the end, Rothco is the real winner with all the ALICE frames they must be selling lol...

how did you mod the hasbro wand. i like the black grips a lot better than the brown afterlife look. did you 3d print a part?

The comparison and review were good but it's hard to focus on the subject because of the background displays. Perhaps a solid color background would be nice.

Nice video, but maybe not have music playing during sections of demonstrating sound effects of the items.
I no longer put music BG in my videos. My editing software makes it sound super soft but once uploaded it's loud.. SUper annoying especially after doing all that work :(

You can use a guitar floor stand from Amazon. Inexpensive and does the job rather nicely.
Wow what a difference in the size those others are cool but I don't care about that " small " one 3:03 so the pictures on the box are up right but the proton pack is up side down 😆😆😆😆😆😆

Someone please make a $500 or $1000 replica and get it right. The sizing, look, weight, electronics, the sounds/effects. There has to be a price to get a manufacture to do it/get it 99% right.

Got 2 of the new spirit packs. 1 to make 84 and one for 89, hen have the Haslab. Found a real Motorola mt500 that’s got some wear and tear and looks perfect! Also got the old radio shack m3000 metal detector to make a KUD!!

It's so not fair to compare the Spirit pack to your VERY heavily upgraded Haslab pack LOL. The new Spirit pack really does seem mostly like a scaled up OF Spirit pack, more than anything else. A few upgrades, yes, but more the same than not.
