- I sat on the furthest highest bleacher with a big-ass camera and a big-ass lens, away from the screaming girls! With a little EQ, this is probably my best sounding and looking SC show. Sadly, only Daniel still had long hair.

Literally my favorite! A good listen! And it’s their best live show era too! After john’s started drinking/whatever it just got weird and a mess, like he was/still is. So sad he was born for this and he let it fuck him up. 😢

I'm jealous that you've just discovered them - because you've got a hell of a fantastic journey in front of you - they were just amazing. I got to meet Daniel (lead singer) at the airport a few years back in the city he's from - super humble, super shy (believe it or not) super lovely guy that gave a stranger the time of day to talk.. shake hands and take a photo with me. Great guy.

Some serious Chair mania here! Of all the shows by different bands I'm watching on youtube, none of them really have the crowd response this has....lol Any slight pause and the crowd just erupts. The chair fans back then *were* pretty obsessed I guess, the teen girls did love 'em for sure.
I'm not sure how anyone could keep a level-head coming off stage from that night after night.!

Yeah! I also noticed a huge big reverb on the snare drum during No Association (I'm sure it wasn't just there the whole time, but could be wrong). They had a cool sound guy, I guess.
Edit: Maybe it was just like that the whole time, I'm not sure now... curious if it's just the room or added reverb.

This is incredible! Thank you for filming first and foremost! And for uploading! They were my first favorite band (Frogstomp was the first CD I ever got!) Saw them 2 years after this during the Neon Ballroom tour in Hollywood and Daniel clearly looked not well 😢. Still charismatic as ever and sounded amazing but he looked so gaunt!

Why do you make this slow-mo & "photoshop" effects ? Just upload the original, don't be greedy!
What you are calling "slow-mo" is a light amplification feature of the camera, which allows you to see more clearly in low light. It's similar to Sony's "green night vision," but in color.
