- Upgrading the turbo on my Eclipse to a Twin Scroll HX35! Step 01 - Tuning - New video in 2 weeks! We're installing Speed Density with our ECMLink / DSMLink tuning software. We'll be using a Omni 4-bar MAP sensor and GM IAT sensors to log our boost and manifold pressure.

Curious why dont you dsm guys prefer the he351cw it comes with a much smaller housing and makes more power. The He351cw is the updated hx35 plus you can then upgrade to a hx40 turbine wheel and compressor while in a 9cm housing . Its what most cummins guys upgrade their hx35s to.

Great to see some solid DSM content. I'll be starting a channel with a good friend. We both have 2g Barcelona GSX's with mine on E85/HTA 68 and the other pump/6870 PTE. Hoping to bring back more positive exposure for DSM's on youtube.
Looking forward to the finished setup. Been thinking something similar with mine as well.
You forgot about the fact that you can blow an intercooler pipe and still drive home when using speed density

lol I blew my evo charge pipe(cheap with tiny bead), the clamp was somewhere onthe road never found it. had to unplug the MAF to chug home driving like a grandma, used heaps of fuel.

It was made by Redjack, they don't make them anymore. There are people that make them custom though!

Why the push to release a video every two weeks? That's a pretty tough release schedule for a guy who doesn't get paid and (as far as I can tell) has to do most everything himself.

Regular uploads should help the channel grow faster, plus I love shooting and editing so it keeps me busy :D

I know, and that's me trying to stay STILL. I've had to reshoot entire sequences from moving around too much. I'm not a good speaker and I get really nervous and fidgety and tend to flail a lot. Then I start talking too fast and slurring and stuttering and it's a big fiasco every time I shoot, I'd rather be behind the camera if I could!

I am guessing you hard wired in the 2g maf when you put it in there and that's why you went with the 2g cable for SD

Really cool videos, I have a 2g dsm project car, I want to eventually convert it to speed density. I was wondering where you guys would recommend to learn more about ecmlink and tuning in general besides their website. I've already read everything on there.

I see you mounted that PLX gauge in an interesting place. Which one did you get and where exactly did you mount it?
I have the DM6, I love it. It's mounted where the air recirculation knob normally goes. It's just always on fresh air :D
So with a twin scroll manifold the hx35 would still spool faster than lets say a TD05 20G?
Yep! A TDO5 20g is the last turbo I had on before this one, and this one spools faster. :D

Velocity Labs sweet. I love the videos. Dashboard video saved my life. I will in the future switch to a hx35. But will be using the bep housing for my setup. Anything for sale regarding a 1g dsm?
We have a saying in danish that in English would be "He who greases well, drives well... Meaning that if you butter up people you life is easier
I watched your HX35 install, man that was alot of fab work and trail and error on the cooling fans, i was kinda laughing because you didn't want to cough up money for a real good fan or quality tial wastegates but ended up spending that amount in replacing them everyday lol props on getting all that to work but i would of gone crazy making all that work so I'd just spend a little bit more and go with a forced performance set up and eliminate the stress and extra work and probably run the same numbers. Kudos on the install though , your welder deserves a gift basket delivered by hookers with coke hahaha i dont got those resources here so i keep it simple.
