I'm loud and tend to talk too much when around other people, and definitely not afraid to think out loud, particularly when calling people out on nonsense, and tend to be argumentative as well, so mostly fit ENTP stereotypes, especially considering the stuff I got in trouble during my schooling about. But my mother and sister think I'm just an obnoxious INFP or other feeling type, because of my temper and tendency to become easily offended, which they think means I'm "emotional" and thinks that that makes it impossible for me to be a thinking type, let alone Logician or any type of Analyst, more so because I'm terrible at math and science/tech, which INTPs are also stereotyped as being good at, and more geared towards the visual arts and anything worth debating. Also, I'm not super-introverted and withdrawn as we're portrayed as, either (although, to be fair, they can accept the "socially awkward"/lack of social life stereotype, because that part is, unfortunately, true for me; I just have trouble fitting in, which gives me no other option but be a loner). Also my sister is the opposite of her stereotype, too (she's an INFJ), other than being the feeling-judging type. INFJs are portrayed as calm, compassionate people and peacemakers, but it's a stereotype that they're zen-like therapists or something. My sister has a temper and tendency to argue, is VERY opinionated, very stubborn and insists on her way regardless of how other people feel about it, jumps to conclusions on everybody and everything without knowing the facts and other sides of the story, and has a bad habit of ripping people apart emotionally disguised as "constructive" criticism when offering unsolicited advice. Of course, she's turbulent, so definitely not a good example. But I really hate these stereotypes. Also, take an enneagram test. These separate each mbti from their stereotypes, particularly when you have an unusual blend for your mbti. Like my current 6w5, which was a 4w3 during my youth (mbti still tested out as the same, though). Neither blend sounds anything like how INTPs are portrayed (because most are type 5's).
This is excellent! I've gotten pretty good at guessing people's types but I still can't do it instantly. This would be a gamechanger in social setting when making new friends/connections.
Despite me subconsciously trying to type everyone in a room, it often surprises me when people actually tell me there type haha. I think it definitely comes down to facial expressions, how they process emotions, and there actions and the way they communicate to others. I think we should also consider that not everyone is going to be in the box.. and we may fluctuate or be in the “grey area” Some types act EXACTLY, point blank like there type. While others it’s more hard. We may also force ourselves to act like the type we want to be. Which can lead to a dangerous path…
Same. I always in my mind make a psychological profile of a person and once I learned the MBTI typing that also came into the profiling. I find it helps me deal with people as you could _see_ how their thought process is propagating through out in a given situation. I find it fun to try figuring out someone's MBTI type just by having a couple of conversations with them (sampling them on different days getting their baseline personality). This way I know when to talk about futuristic stuff vs past/current stuff. Or if I should emphasize on _feelings_ vs _thinking_ What really is amazing is that you start to see people _how_ they fit into a given tribe, what their role is.
Cause humans are more complex in nature, but to just judge and label them as a type will be a disgrace, to me the human minds, the consciousness is something of a divine thing? Idk how to say it
As part of my daily Ti exercise/past time, I try to find out the MBTI types of the people around me. My family: dad is INTJ because he loves planning and math. Mom is ESTJ because she drives everyone in the house to work. My sister is INFJ because she’s always in existential crisis. My coworkers: My boss is ENTJ because I think he has high Te and intuition (he always voice out some weird dialogue.) My vice-boss is ISTJ because he always making schedules and organizing. My boss tends to jump from one thing to another while my vice-boss organizes it. I have INTP coworker and she’s so amazing and also so similar to me. Another coworker is ESFP because I see he’s tend to have fast changing interesting things on hand. Also an ISFJ and ESFJ from another department. My friends: ISFP and INFP. I see ISFP loves watching musicals and no one will stop her even there’s deadlines. My INFP friend is devastated after hearing Pokemon’s Ash/Satoshi’s story ending. She will never accept it lol. I see these two Fi types are very immovable of what they feel. I still have many people I haven’t figured out but with this game “spot the MBTI” there will be no boring time for me.
If you relate more to INFP, you most likely are one. Both me and my best friend got INFJ from the tests. He is a clear INFP and I believe I am an INTP.

I do not think it is that easy to understand my type. But here, have a guess, if you wish, folks: I am extremely reserved, people always ask me for personal advice, I despise small talk, and have a very detailed and thorough plan for the future.
It's a bit unnerving to hear how people are supposed to be the center of my universe, when I know that is not so. I mentally live Buddhistically, so limiting suffering and having a people fetish simply does not work.
As an ENFP, I call my self a topic bunny. I hope from topic to topic. I said that to someone once and they just looked at me weird like I was insane or something. 😭😭😭😭🎉🎉🎉🎉👾👾👾👾👽👽👽👽🐰🐰🐰🐰🐇🐇🐇🐇
As an infj sometime the sentences I say don’t even make sense to me. I mean they mostly do, but I struggle with getting others to understand. It’s kinda funny tho cuz I’m an amazing writer yet when I speak, it never comes out how I mean it (it gets even worse when I’m nervous 🥲🥲)
as an ENTP, the fact that entps are at the end of your videos makes me want to skip ahead, but the prospect of missing out on the information about the other types doesn't seem appealing either. This is a cross for me to bear
I saw someone else in the comments do this, so here goes nothing. What type do you think I am? I like staying in the back of the room, not causing issues, only talk to my friends pretty much, I despise small talk, very emotional person, good at art, no future plans, people ask me about emotional problems.
The ENFJ I know,I just can't stand her, maybe it's just her,but she always interferes with other's lives and their choices, their opinions, giving unsolicited advice, and acting like a know-it-all. I want to keep her at an arm's length, well most people, but I don't like that she does not respect my boundaries and not giving me space, and if I am asked my opinions on things, calmly saying "I agree or I don't agree but I respect your opinion or I see where you're coming from" is my thing, but this ENFJ I know always try to shove her opinions on others, and the things she claimed to be true were just her feelings and her opinions, and everything has to go on her way,she is manipulative, one time she tried to get what she wanted by suddenly acting quiet and throwing tantrum by trying to leave early,I did not give a damn because I knew she was trying to manipulate us and I never welcome that kind of behaviour,if not because of our other friends there who were not okay with her leaving just like that, her and I might have never talked again. Are most ENFJs like this or it could be just her? ~INFJ/INTJ (still not sure)
This is completely wrong. Facepalm, and the fact that there is no sources to backup anything he says. How can he say INTJ doesn't care about what others think when they literally have Te Parent? Te parent is all about what other's think. Also INTJ's are not logical they are rational.
"sometimes they can come out as harsh or undiplomatic, as if they don't care what others think" I hope by reading this you realize what you missed in that sentence.
"This is completely wrong" nope it isn't. As an istp he was spot on in what he said about us. And it's the first time in years I find someone talk about ISTPs in such an accurate way. Also source to backup what? What're you talking about? This is a personal analysis of the types based on the cognitive functions. It's always this way in every MBTI video or discussion. No one gives source or anything to back it up because it's an analysis based on knowledge and learning how functions work. You're making no sense.
I think Te parent would like to be correct first and foremost rather than be tactful (Fe). They dislike wasting time and get straight to the point. They don't make effort to make people around them comfortable, except for people they deem as important (Fi).
For most of the other types the visuals are neutral/positive; for INFJ it’s people running in terror and being smashed by giant rolling balls…. It’s just a huge contrast 😅
Psychology Refresh: getting deep into the INFJ and how to spot them and how they work. Backround: Casually and violently smacking people with giant balls. Alright then.
**I grab the ball** Behave yourself! **I say sternly** Why are you trying to hurt others? Are you drunk? Do you have issues?? Let's unpack this in order to find the root of your behavior! ~ENFJ
INFJs are the people getting hit by the balls. Their introverted intuition acts like a simulation that plays out a sequence of events in order to achieve a certain goal. The boulders are the literal obstacles that get in the way of that goal. However, I do find INFJs to often be like those boulders, seeking out people and affecting them with significant impact (Haha). They can often manipulate and change peoples' minds on matters. And in negative situations, they can seem cold and direct.
Quite grusome. Cringy. To INFJ. Mostly just the opposite of liking peace INFJs trates. Unless those would be really, really bad people. Then, that's ok. Well, allmost ok. Or Unless it's about their, INFJs most likely highly accurate premonition/ premonitions. Which seems so. And that would be just fine - that would be just ok. Kind of sort of. Or Neither. And the background video would be just... mismatched. And that would suck. But that's ok. Nobody's perfect. Nobody knows everything. Everybody have a right to mistake/ mistakes in theirs life. Just not to often - especially not at somebody else expance. If for that reason only, that they might loose their patience. Rightly so. Simple.
How do you recognize other types?

Of course, she's turbulent, so definitely not a good example. But I really hate these stereotypes.
Also, take an enneagram test. These separate each mbti from their stereotypes, particularly when you have an unusual blend for your mbti. Like my current 6w5, which was a 4w3 during my youth (mbti still tested out as the same, though). Neither blend sounds anything like how INTPs are portrayed (because most are type 5's).

True!
I also agree 👍💯
This is excellent! I've gotten pretty good at guessing people's types but I still can't do it instantly. This would be a gamechanger in social setting when making new friends/connections.
Yes I use self talk to organize my thoughts lol 🤣
;)
The stuff about INFJs took 10 years to get through.
10 years?? But I'm bored now!
~ENFJ
Why?
The infj video was so disturbing, some of us are sensitive..
The infp one was overwhelming
We appreciate your insight!
Despite me subconsciously trying to type everyone in a room, it often surprises me when people actually tell me there type haha.
I think it definitely comes down to facial expressions, how they process emotions, and there actions and the way they communicate to others.
I think we should also consider that not everyone is going to be in the box.. and we may fluctuate or be in the “grey area”
Some types act EXACTLY, point blank like there type.
While others it’s more hard.
We may also force ourselves to act like the type we want to be. Which can lead to a dangerous path…
Thanks for sharing!
I gotta protect you from the winter. **I build a giant greenhouse around you**
Or if I should emphasize on _feelings_ vs _thinking_
What really is amazing is that you start to see people _how_ they fit into a given tribe, what their role is.
Being able to spot any type instantly would be such an insult to human nature…
Why?
Get back to work! lol

I do not think it is that easy to understand my type. But here, have a guess, if you wish, folks:
I am extremely reserved, people always ask me for personal advice, I despise small talk, and have a very detailed and thorough plan for the future.

You are welcome!
This is completely wrong. Facepalm, and the fact that there is no sources to backup anything he says.
How can he say INTJ doesn't care about what others think when they literally have Te Parent? Te parent is all about what other's think. Also INTJ's are not logical they are rational.
We appreciate your opinion!
@@PsychologyRefresh Where do you get the material for this video?
Wow the visuals for the INFJ are uh… wow

Do you like it?
INFJs are the people getting hit by the balls. Their introverted intuition acts like a simulation that plays out a sequence of events in order to achieve a certain goal. The boulders are the literal obstacles that get in the way of that goal. However, I do find INFJs to often be like those boulders, seeking out people and affecting them with significant impact (Haha). They can often manipulate and change peoples' minds on matters. And in negative situations, they can seem cold and direct.
Quite grusome. Cringy. To INFJ.
Mostly just the opposite of liking
peace INFJs trates.
Unless those would be
really, really bad people.
Then, that's ok.
Well, allmost ok.
Or
Unless it's about their, INFJs most
likely highly accurate premonition/ premonitions. Which seems so.
And that would be just fine -
that would be just ok.
Kind of sort of.
Or
Neither.
And the background video
would be just...
mismatched.
And that would suck.
But that's ok.
Nobody's perfect.
Nobody knows everything.
Everybody have a right to mistake/ mistakes in theirs life.
Just not to often - especially not at
somebody else expance.
If for that reason only, that they might loose their patience.
Rightly so.
Simple.
