I believe you made an error on saying you can get the AWD manual with a turbo…ZONK! It doesn’t come that way. Mazda engineers said 2 years ago that the manual cannot handle the torque of the turbo….!

I’ve had a 6-speed version of one of these 4th gen 3 hatches with the base NA 2.5 for almost 3 years and 30k miles and I’ve been really happy with it tbh. Really punches far above its weight as an affordable hatchback and makes for a great daily driver. Rear blind spot takes some getting used to with that thicc C pillar and doesn’t have the most space in the segment, but has enough for me and my needs. I did have to take the front wheel off and put the back seats down, but it’s fit my whole bike in the back before. May not be the right choice for someone who demands the utmost in dynamic spiciness, but it’s still plenty to have fun with and worth a look if you’re interested in one.

You can get roof racks for it as well.

Shame it doesn’t give you a different cluster when in sport. The CX5 and basically everything else do something.

The Mazda 3 sedan is my choice. I wish Mazda would bring the Skyactiv X to the United States.
