    Great video! Have you seen fireworks yet? How about Christmas light displays? Have you visited a flower garden/nursery or the outdoor section at places like Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.? Any plans to go to Las Vegas to see all the neon lights? I've seen many of these videos where people just go to a paint store or the produce section at their local grocery stores & stay for hours just looking at all the different colors. :-)

    You can't make any conclusion how the glasses perform by using colorblind tests. The tests are designed for direct unfiltered viewing only. An example of this is to try using a piece of pink cellophane. You will most likely "pass" the test, but you are not seeing "normal" color! (Many of the competing glasses brands essentially do this. You gain red-green distinction, because red is lighter & green darker, but are not seeing red & green any better.)
    I find it interesting your reporting "weird colors" on screens, or indoors, with the sunglasses & no improvement indoors with either. I (not colorblind) regularly use both indoor & outdoor glasses, inside & outside. I don't see any "weird" colors on screens, nor with man-made colors. The main thing I note different is the shifting of purple & violet toward magenta or pink with the outdoor glasses, & muting of blues. This is understandable as Enchroma is attempting to bring up the red & attenuate the blue (which overwhelms the red for the colorblind). Oranges also get shifted somewhat toward red, which also makes sense.

    The golden hour/sunsets are my fav. I often post amazing pink, purple and orange sunset photos and my colourblind friend is always like eh, boring. 😂 I'd love to get him these. Interesting seeing the comparison photo at the end as the indoor ones look like what I'd expect to see with my eyes like pastel peach, pinks and purples. So will keep that in mind how much the sunglasses might differ in low light

      They're just a novelty item. You can't see colors that can't already see. Don't waste your money. They're just polarized glasses that add contrast.

    How do you know the colour that you never see before, how do you know pink if u never see pink?

      Tell us! How is your experience with your new glasses !!?
      I’m just a 58 year old -normal visioned Grandpa that stumbled on this subject surfing YT and marathon watched maybe 40 of the “Sees color for first time” videos. Intriguing because I have a buddy that I’m planning to gift some to.

      @@badapple65 So, everyone’s experience could be different (first note I want to make)
      It took me about 2 weeks or so, wearing them constantly, before I really saw the effects! It makes the reds POP out at you which is really cool. Just make sure they are worn in a lighter environment. I think they work the best outside during the day!
      I think my overall experience was different than I expected, but it was still a good experience! I’m still getting use to them, but the more you wear them, the more they start helping. Some people can have instant success, and others like myself may take some time to get adjusted. I say it’s definitely worth a shot! Let us know how they work for your friend, I’m intrigued!

    The review is basically bullshit, someone has already debunked this entire thing
    The glasses are basically a very tense pinkish tint that makes differentiating orange and red a very overwhelming task
    The glasses play with brightness and contrast, which amplifies certain colors

    • @JustinGarrison
      @JustinGarrison  8 месяцев назад +2

      Isn’t amplifying certain colors the point? These make everything look more red at first to help me see the red I’ve been missing my entire life

      @@dykam I don't have to watch the video to know they're a novelty item. The glasses provide contrast like fishing and driving glasses do, that's all. It's not rocket science...

    Science has proven these are fake. No surprise, there's a link to buy the product and he gets paid if you buy it.
