@@shwong409 why? Except looping station he has a voice, realy good voice. And it’s a show firts of all. He became smth new and fresh for big mass. Looping just increased his chance like someone guitar playing or knowledge of academic singing, etc
The people questioned it because they were told to question it by the judges.
It was manufactured drama to get more exposure for the show. There was never any actual drama other than what Boy manufactured because Sam didn't pick him as coach.
It's a show about using your voice. Sam is using his voice to do a far greater percentage of the total production that anyone else. It wasn't even kinda of a drama.
@@tianiikura3393they are allowed to not think someone should have won, it's their opinion. Sorry I'm not aiming my whole comment at just you, I just wanted to say the first bit. Although I agree Boi George is always creating unnecessary drama, you can't just use the loop machine, most people who use them have technically good voices, and really Gospel sounding voices. So yer it's not cheating, it's not even enhancing your voice, your just creating the song you want with it. The voice love it when people can make a song sound different to its original.
The last one is so fun, all the judges are just playing and trying out the looper, its adorable!

If I was a judge and I started hearing a loop station I’d instantly turn around, it’s a huge part of the immersion watching them work

@@houssemeddine2275 ya that mb14 guy is probably better on other songs but the one he did in this video was not comparable to the performance sam gave. sam had great energy and sound. could be that gangstas paradise just wasnt a song that fits mb14s voice. sams version of gangstas paradise was better imo but even then i think its one of sams weaker songs that he did on the voice
Sam Perry is already a star. The Russian guy who performs "Beggin" is fantastic and has impressive vocal chops. And the last guy is delightful.
The Russian who did "beggin" actually stole it from another loop station artist, the original artist is called Thai Son and he did this loop at GBB 2018. The Russian literally copied everything he did but worse

The thing I love about watching this is no matter what country it’s from music is transcendent. Music is the one thing that will bring world peace. Look at the First World War the American army and the German army quit fighting to sing Christmas songs with each other. World peace is possible.

Sam Perry's audition is one of the best moments in any version of this show!
Those turns are not just a yes, its an indication that they know how to use the artists talent.
All of them are very talented, I hope they all go places and become big stars, I could watch all of them do a whole show, or stream their albums.
2 different takes on Gangstas Paradise, and both turned out different and impressive.
Nobody can compete MB14. He's my motivation ~

Featherstone is a PURE vocalist. Best of the bunch, even if the "looping" was simple. The best arrangement hands down.
Sam Perry has my heart- he’s got amazing talent and is a fabulous performer- total passion and joy you can’t help feeling happy.
I especially love that the last artist is outsinging the professionals.
Fun fact: the last guy (Erlan Bainazarov) is a taxi driver from Kazakhstan...
The French Dude MB14 doing "Gangsters Paradise" was really talented.
The "blow my hair back" moment was the fresh take on BlackStreet's "No Diggity", I wasn't expecting that!
MB14 is very famous in the GGB loopstation battles(GGB = Grand Beatbox Battles) he is also friends with Saro and Rythmind the previous GGB loopstation champions.

He may be a talented looper or whatever you call it, but his actual vocals are way below average. The first artist actually had a really good voice.

She delivered on the higher notes, but she didn't sound safe in her middle range- it's normally the opposite so she's quite unique, but it's a huge problem if you can't deliver in your middle range. That's where you're gonna be most of the time.

She is singer/songwriter, before even getting on the voice she already was known artist. And what she won here? She was knocked out at 1/4 I think. Sam Perry was really the best mix of both categories, he wasn't the best singer or maybe the best looper, but putting both his qualities in one, he was the best. Knowing how one jugde always was agaist him and always was crying on media that Sam is cheating. :D

First guy is the best. I'm pretty sure he feels music in ways we couldn't understand. Last performance though makes me want to move to the Ukraine. They look like they like to laugh and have fun. I'll literally never think of the Ukraine the same.

I've seen MB14's audition a bunch of times (he's been in a few compilations), but the rest are new and interesting. They're all amazing in their own way. They really know how to use the electronics as an instrument.
Theres talent there great artists tgere are lgendary people that will be remembered for all of time then.... there is what ever i just witnessed here i lack words to even describe the level of dedication needed to achieve the vocals let alone what they do with looping this is underated and deserves way more respect give these folks their flowers man
