- The 2011 Toyota Sienna, and many other vehicles these days, have a cartridge style filter instead of the all-in-one filters I grew up changing. I was a little intimidated at first because I didn't want to mess anything up, but after changing it a few times, I realized it's really not that complicated. You can grab a few tools to make the job easier, but otherwise, it's not that different from a standard oil change!

Since when do you have to start up the engine to reset the "Maintenance Required" light?
Torque specs for those who have a torque wrench...
Oil pan drainplug = 40 N•m (30 ft.lbs.)
Oil filter cap = 25 N•m (18 ft.lbs.)
Oil filter cap drainbolt = 12.5 N•m (10 ft.lbs.)
Good video just the same...
Y'know, I've never tested it with just hitting the button instead of fully cranking it. Just the way I've always done it so I haven't felt the need to change it. Thanks for the feedback!
