In my chronic pain/illness tool box; my apologies for the lengthy list in advance 😆 I actually use a fanny pack pouch (pain pouch) i wear at work with some of these items, injections & medications inside of it. Prescription sunglasses, a surgical mask, super light, sound, and smell sensitive (even though I have a permanent loss of smell and taste, which i realize how odd that sounds lol.) I need to try those contacts! Frozen migraine caps, Icy hot pads (I take them off when it starts getting warm, also prefer cold), TENS machine (dr ho) I use the neck machine & the pads on my shoulder, heating pad (when it’s -40°C here in Canada), neck cushion (like for an airplane) helps me when I have bad days where holding my head up is difficult, my Bissell electric mop (it has sensors & basically mops the floors itself but you have to walk around with it), electric bathroom tile scrubber, cordless vacuum mine is Shark and also light weight, peppermint oil on a roller ball, ginger gummies for nausea, foam roller (helps with neck stretches), audiobooks (for migraine days, I get blurred vision & auras), kindle for low light reading, XyliMelts (dry mouth tabs), a special neck/shoulder pillow (valuable investment), peppermint, and eucalyptus Epson salts, supportive neck & shoulder bath pillow, a good leak proof tumbler for water for sipping when lying down, blow dry stand (that holds my blow drier), bidet (super stiff and bad shoulder/neck helps with butt wiping🤦🏻♀️(sorry tmi), restorolax, headspace app for breathing meditations and bed time sleep stories, white noise rain sounds machine (light sleeper), & last but not least mindfulness techniques; body scanning, journaling, praying, reading scripture, meditating on the word, abide (RUclips channel) videos can be helpful & distracting, and physio neck & shoulder stretches. Phew 😮💨 quite the list. But I love the idea of sharing recommendations. 💕✨ I also get night terrors. I wonder if that’s common in the migraine community. I also have this phenomenon where my hands will appear really small or really large and same with objects in the room (if I wake up suddenly) I Should try the massage gun (but I’m solo so not sure if I’ll be able to utilize that myself) I too need trigger point release under the shoulder blade like in the video how your husband was massaging you! Tension migraines are brutal. Loved the video!
I'm extremely sensitive to light and I have POTS, but my eyes are too dry for contacts. I have transition lenses in my glasses. I want to try the vacuum and massager. My Mom makes those ice packs, they are awesome,we have so many. Before she sews them up she adds essential oils in them. I have a lavendar and a peppermint ones.
Hi Amy I like your Kindle I like to read so that's really neat and I like your bed idea that sounds me too and of course I love your vacuum have a great weekend my dear and keep smiling and keep going 😇😇😇😇😇😝
Great video, thank you. I used to have night terrors really badly to the point I was scared to go to bed. I inherited it from my mum who also has them. They have calmed down a lot since I started taking Citalopram for panic attacks several years ago. I used to see giant spiders or crabs marching across the bed, vans coming out of the ceiling, people in my room, etc. It was horrible. I found that I need some light in the room so I didn’t become disorientated in the room, so I always sleep with my curtains partly open. I have fibromyalgia and chronic daily headaches and migraines so I love ice packs. I’ll have to see if that bead one is available in the UK. I use Deep Freeze gel or spay which I imagine is similar to the one you have. I too prefer cold to hot for migraine relief. Thank you again and take care x
Ive been looking into getting transition glasses cause im equally sensitive to light. Im also super sensitive to my eyes getting dry. I have to wear glasses that cover my eyes completely. Since my eyes are so sensitive from the air i have to wear the glasses inside so getting transition glasses would be great
You should also try tinted glasses; mine are a deep orange to keep the blue light out. I used to need to wear sunglasses inside or in stores, and now, I only wear sunglasses outside.
@@Aimee_Esther I'm not sure of the specific brand of tint, but I know that the lab that makes my glasses has to tint the lenses. I've gone from getting migraines and having post-exertional malaise from driving for 30 mins due to my light sensitivity, to being mostly symptom-free afterwards.
@@Aimee_Esther I've had great luck with eyebuydirect and their Photochromic lenses by Transitions® ( copy n paste). I think their called the intelligent one....Watch for coupons and frames that are on sale- use camera option for fit and honestly I'll never go back to eyestore again. I'm so impressed with this service!
- Curious if you’ve found if the ‘ReLeafpack’ helps you sleep better at all? (Read some about that POTS keeps the frontal lobe too warm, which keeps us from falling asleep right away) - So wondering if it also helps with that? Or if that’s one of the things they say it should help with/to use it for? - Also wondering where your ‘adjustable bed base’ is from or how it works..? Thanks-appreciate your response always💕
Yes I use the Releaf pack when I sleep. It helps me a ton when I have migraines. I actually just started using another cooling pillow that has been incredible! It will for sure be added to the next "favorites" video : en.getmoona.com/ (It is pricey though so the releaf pack is a good cheap option.)

Love my Kindle. Never thought
I'd ever give up paper books!
Hi Aimee :) thank you so much for the tips!! I just wanted to note that the captions are a bit jumbled I am sure it’s not intentionally like that 💫💕
This video is from 2 years ago, so I don't know what happened to the captions if there was a problem, I am so sorry!

Glad you said that, I now remember my eye doctor mentioning that! Any brand you recommend?

Does the orthogel have menthol or mint? I have a severe allergy to mint...

My bed is linked in the description. it lifts my legs and elevates my head as well.
Orthofeet sandals!! So great for us!!
Added to my Amazon wish list!
Thanks for sharing, these sound helpful. Question about the vacuum, do you have to hold the button down for it to operate vs. an on/off switch?
This is awesome!!!
