- Change Audio Volume Automatically in OBS! Audio Ducking.
Today I show you how to easily modulate any track, like music, so that when you speak the music volume is lowered. It's easy to do and any audio will work.

Thank you for the great video Michael. Is there a way to set it up so that ANY other audio is ducked when I am speaking? Or do I have to set this up for each individual audio source?
I think it’s each individual one.
You help me out so much brother
I subed you , doing great job.
Thanks!
U r an absolute gem👌👌👌
Thanks. Glad to help.
Thanks dude!
Glad to help.
Is there a way to do this specifically with Elgato's Wave Link software? I only have 2 audio inputs coming into OBS, my mic and the stream link audio (which is 5 different sources in Wave Link), and I'd like to setup audio ducking so that my desktop audio source with Tikfinity sounds is lowered whenever I use sound effects that come through my SFX source inside Wave Link. Basically I want sounds that I generate to take priority over sounds the viewers generate through stream participation.
Your tips are very unique and helpful.
Sadly, I am not getting the same result as you did.
Do you have any idea what that could be?
How do you test it once it’s setup? Just do a recording? Great vid btw
thank you for the tutorial, Sir. You help me to improve my OBS skill and i wanna give all i have from you to my son, too. He tries to be content creator by gaming.
I am from Indonesia.
Glad to help
Cool feature.... I like it..... Thanks.....
Awesome. Glad to help.
Great job
Thanks
Thanks!
Hi, thanks for really good videos. I have a problem with OBS and sound transitions between scenes. Instead of crossfading like normal the sound just hard-cuts out about a second into the next scene. Only thing I seem to have control over are the frames before transition and no control of the sound whatsoever, what I can see? How do I fix this?
Is the same audio source in both scenes?
@@MichaelFeyrerJr Not as far as I can see no

hello michael, is it possible to attach it to the audio output capture? for live streaming on youtube, what do you think if it is attached to the audio output capture
I think you could do that if it is in the same scene.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr thank you master :)
im gonna uninstal and start al the way over but then i dont got the music source so im stuck again
tq
Glad to help.
I set mine to 5 or 10 ratio -30 threshold. Ducking is perfect but my mic is a bit too low though I set it loud enough but when i checked the recording, my mic is too low on sound, is there any way to fix it?
You can adjust the levels in the mixer and in advanced audio properties you can add gain to a source if needed. There is also a gain filter in the audio filter menu.
i started everything from 0 just to do it right now i dont see ... the effect filter or audio video thing ... i want my screen recording to duck :( ... in the comments everybody fixed it im the only one where its not doing :( f my life ... i dont see the audio video thing only effect filter but my sound is coming from the screen capture .. i understand the audio missing but i hear it from the capture so why is missing
