Twidget is an amazing free app for OBS Studio that allows you to create custom chat overlays for Twitch, Facebook, and RUclips or all three at the same time!
It can be docked in OBS so you can select chat to post in your lower thirds as well!

Trying this out for first time today coming from OBS Ninja - love it but 1 MAJOR issue - why is it so small?
When i resize it , naturally i get blurry pixels, is there a CSS or way of remedying? I want it to go across the whole screen like streamyard so its readable for those watching on p

Fantastic app , I did try tonight and I was very impressed. The only think was that app did not show emojis properly, instead the app showed weird letters and symbols. I am not sure if this was just me. The idea of this project is great.

Hey Michael, let me first say that you have a great channel. Your videos have been really helpful. They are done really well and very easy to understand and follow. I need your help though, i tried connecting twidget to my facebook page but it can't seem to connect to Facebok, it says, "This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Could you help me with this.
been using this for a bit now and its freaking awesome... however i do wish it scrolled with the live chat instead of manually having to scroll
The newest version automatically scrolls down to the latest chat! So you don't have to manually scroll anymore.

This is cool. I just wish it would display chats without having to select them. Then have them clear after a certain amount of time. If you are streaming a game it’s not convenient to have to click on each message. (Or does the option exist and just not shown here?)
You have to use the latter mentioned chatflow overlay
Great tool indeed. I tried it worked well with YT but I does not work when I use a Facebook page I manage, and I event tried to stream on the personal facebook page still does not work, the comments are not coming through. Another bug that Zack may probably fix in the fure when you Paste links in the App, you have to use the Keyboard Ctrl + V otherwise using right click does not work. Great work

Hey Michael, I just to say your tutorials for OBS are awesome. They are effective and broken down in such a way that they are easy to follow, even for a novice. With that said, I too am experiencing the issue with the comments not coming through on Facebook Live. However, I did notice that the layout has been changed in Facebook Producer. This includes the url for livestreamed videos. But no matter what I did, nothing seemed to work. I tried using the Producer window url, the pop-out chat url and even scheduling the livestream and getting the link in advance of going live. It has me baffled.

dang, unfortunately you can't use custom CSS in the chatflow function, which, let's be real, is the most common, if not only viable use-case for chat on-screen. I'll be waiting for that bell to ring when you post a video update once that becomes available :)

Hello Sir. Thanks for the information. I am having trouble downloading the software. When I get to the store and click on install nothing happens. I have tried about 6 times and nothing, is another way of getting this app?

🤔 umm wait a minute does the chat overlay with all of the different conversation show up on the OBS output or is it just active in the OBS canvas and you have to manually click show on screen so that it will be seen by the viewers ?
Also i want to know how can I put the zoom chat in the OBS canvas and then if a specific message i want to highlight for viewers to see i then click show on screen in the OBS canvas so it will be only that specific message exactly yes that one message/statement is display in the actual video and only that only that specific message is pop up when anyone rewatching the video.
It can do either or both to your first question. Zoom is not integrated.

I'm wondering if you found a solution for the following. I want to run a stream where the first half hour is public on Facebook and also inside an rtmp on my membership website. At the end of the half hour I want to cancel the stream going to Facebook and leave the rtmp running for the next half hour for member only content. That part is fairly easy to do. What I'm looking to do now is to solve for chat. In an ideal world I'd have Facebook chat and some chat widget inside my rtmp membership website page. The page will be sitting inside WordPress. Do you know the solution for this? Thanks so much and keep up the great work

If it’s not you personal page it’s not gonna work. So if you are streaming to a group or something that you don’t own you won’t see the chat.

Does this work with two twitch chats combined, when streaming co-op?
I tried with FB, but most of the comments aren't being captured.
I used it with YT and FB. Everything from YT are being captured by Twidget, but MOST of the comments from my live stream via a page I manage are not coming along in to Twidget 🤔

Hi Michael, Tq so much for this video. Anyhow why it does not work when I'm using facebook in test live broadcast? normally before goes to real life broadcast, i will make a pre-test in facebook. but the comments in test environment did not appear. Is it only for live broadcast?

Hey! I'm the developer here. And yes I believe you have to go live first. Twidget gets the chat from a Facebook endpoint and it's likely that this endpoint only works when the video is live. I suspect this is more of a Facebook limitation though.

what can i do?
Double click the browser source, scroll down, and press the button which says "Refresh Cache of Current Page"
If it still does not work, try running the app as administrator, there may be something blocking the socket connection.

Hi micheal, i've been desperately looking for an alternate multistreaming software for chat overlays. it seems that twidget isn't working for facebook, and i fear it never will... do you have any suggestions?
The problem with asking questions is that usually by the time you get an answer (if you actually ever do) you've already moved on. I see year old questions with no answers. I don't understand how to find the link to your future livestream in RUclips. Usually takes me a few videos to finally find a tutorial that is clear enough for me to understand.

I am a big fun of yours. I love this app, BUT avatars and logos only work sometimes on the highlighted box. Same with chatflow, avatars sometimes on but never logos. Also, when I open the app and try to connect, the logos are also broken. Seems like some sort of issue with permissions. Already tried running as Admin, uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, disabling browser source hardware acceleration (I'm using OBS), etc. Tried emailing @Zacky VT a few times but no response. I wish I could get some help because I love this app.

Yes, it works with Streamlabs! The process is the same, just create a new browser source and follow the steps.

I have tried using OBS for Facebook live, I set it to the recommended settings and still the video is "choppy" and the audio is not great. HELP

Not at the moment with twidget. But I have a video that shows a process that would do it. It’s called live stream with chat in obs that just works.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr I watched that video as well. How do I include multiple chat sources? I am streaming to 4 locations at the same time, all of which have chats. Twidget handles 3 of them. Need to add one more.
