For Twitch, Type /mod botrixoficial in your chat (forgot to say that, sorry!)
To Change White Background: At the end of the chat url, "&background=%23000000" you can adjust the number at the end to be whatever color you want but that will give you straight black (s/o Davis)

Hello @cpaws music I’m on botrix website and I’m trying to connect all my social platforms and now I’m in the section where I connect my kick and I’m trying to copy and paste the code to kick chat room and I keep getting a message like an error and telling me that the code doesn’t belong to my username and I need help on this
TO PERMANENTLY FIX THE WHITE BACKGROUND: in where you put the url to add the custom multi chat dock, at the very end of it add "&background=%23000000" you can adjust the number at the end to be whatever color you want but that will give you straight black
-You also will not have to save this each time or have any additional browser extensions/plugins

when i go to widgets and chat i am unchecking trovo (just cause) i am also unchecking the hide old messages - i do this for all 3 platforms but there is no save button and the setting doesnt seem to stick? when I am live and using the multichat browser function, i only see 1 message at a time and it goes away after about 5 seconds. I assume its because these settings are not sticking. do i need premium botrix for this??
There is no save button. Basically the settings are tied to that browser source url so whatever changes you make are instantly attached to that specific url. As soon as you change a setting the url is changed and you need to re-copy it

does it only display two chats? it would show me kick and twitch chat but not youtube & tiktok do I have to alternate between chats or did it just fail to capture those 2 platforms
RUclips chat won't pop up until you're live and usually doesn't populate for a few minutes until after you're live
For the own3d subscribe alert/panel, how do you switch the twitch logo to the star?

How do you make the live chat font bigger? People in my chat can not read the livestream chat size because it is too small on the screen
Should be able to change the font size in the chat settings in botrix, but it might just be for certain text styles
is there a way to display chat on screen that is not in the same chat box?? so like on twitch itll just be twitch chat shown on screen & on kick itll just be kick chat on screen.
Yup! You can make multiple chatboxes in botrix, so just have Twitch enabled for one and copy the url, then refresh and enable just youtube and copy the url etc.
Hey bro… botrix custom browser dock I added to OBS works well….. however I can’t reply (no input text box at bottom). What is the multi “reply” solution?

Hey, thanks for the video. I've set up BotRix on RUclips (standard moderator) do I need to be LIVE for my commands to appear? I've scheduled a stream and typed !discord (not LIVE) into the chat and BotRix didn't message out the link BUT it works fine on RUclips?

It's honestly up in the air. Mainly twitch doesn't want to be responsible for what people say from other platforms
i cant find that BotRix with that specific logo... it shows one with capital B nd R can it be that one?

If you hate the white background in the multichat window as much as i do, i have a little workaround. 1.Paste the multichat url into a web browser 2. install dark reader for chrome plug-in and white background gone. plus as an added bonus the chat window is much larger in a browser tab, so you can have larger fonts making it easier to read

Another alternative if people want to keep the multichat docked in OBS... right click on the Multichat and choose 'Inspect' and just change the css value of 'background-color' from 'rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)' to '0'. Only downside to this is you have to do it everytime you open OBS :(

Yup! Same process :D
So you can ONLY see the RUclips chat AFTER going live with the stream? That means you can't check before going live if the RUclips chat is working? (I followed all steps except for going live and typed in a test message - it didn't show up on BotRix multichat whereas Twitch chat always shows up immediately, even if not live with a stream.)

How do I get it to keep the messages from eventually fading off the screen/out of the dock? After a certain point, the whole chat just fades away even though I have "Hide old messages" ticked off
make sure you turn off hide old messages and then copy the new browser source url

you can change the size but only for some of the styles
You need to change the font size in the widget and then tab all the way through the remaining options and then copying the url again and pasting it back into your browser source. That looks like it's the only way to update the font size change.
trying to connect it to youtube. I see 2 BotRix with the same logo and name the same. Does it matter which one i pick?
It does, I'd recommend asking in the botrix discord just to confirm with the devs
I can’t add the twitch chat on my obs screen or it doesn’t pop up in the multi stream dock idk what imdoing wrong the only chat that shows is kick 😢
I'd try re-linking your twitch account to botrix and make a new chatbox source
BotRix still only sometimes showing up in my RUclips chat. Seems to be no consistency to it. 😞

You can add the multistream into OBS Studio or Streamlabs :D

i figured it out, need to change the audio settings to FFmpeg AAC & then to whatever track u have with everything but music
How's it going, brotha! My Botrix is linked up to my RUclips, but the chat still doesn't appear. The stream is also on public. What else do I have to do?
I found youtube to have significant latency compared to twitch chat. Also it seems it sometimes doesn't link up until after a few minutes after starting YT stream. Bit annoying, maybe lower latency mode can solve that?

for the life of me, cant get this working for RUclips. Done everything correct according to the video, and several other guides, but for some reason even afterhours, I never get any chats or even the Botrix bot to appear in the chat. Any ideas? Could using a custom RTMP stream key, rsther than the default RTMP key, on youtube stream be the reason?

simply select your twitch profile in botrix > chatbot > disable

@@CpawsMusic Since you are not live as of now (dropped a follow though) let me try here. I reconnected my RUclips to BotRix and waited another 2+ hours but the bot wont show up as a mod in my RUclips stream tab. Is it supposed to only show up once I go live?
It's supposed to connect after you've gone live. but it can take up to an hour or so sometimes, especially if you haven't done it before. usually for me it connects after a few mins after going live @@Knetterkoekje

have you had any issues with botrix deleting stuff on your channel? It ask for permission to do so which has me kind of sketched out. Not sure why they need that kind of control

One issue I'm having: I have time limit disabled for chat messages in the botrix chat settings, but STILL messages disappear even from the chat dock on OBS, incredibly annoying, any ideas?
double check you added the correct browser source url. once you refresh, it doesn't save the changes so you need to add the new browser source url when making ANY changes

So Botrix refuses to connect to my RUclips and I have no idea why
I modded botrix and my streams are public - I am not really sure what to do. I streamed a whole 4+ hours and still nothing came through.

I had this set up a week ago, I had to remove it though because it has a glaring white background that feels like I’m staring at the sun everytime I glanced at chat. I’ve gone back to having 2 seperate chats and I just fit them neatly on my screen ✌🏼

@@CpawsMusic sorry man I was half sleep writing this lmao. Do you have any idea why or how to fix the issue where chat will stop popping up on screen for RUclips? I’ve noticed that when I stream over 4 or so hours the chats from RUclips won’t display on screen or in my multistream browser course chat box but I have no issues on twitch/kick. Also thanks for the response!
Haha happens to the best of us! Sometimes what I find will happen is RUclips chat might not show for a bit, but then the messages will flood in. Not sure how to prevent that but it sounds like RUclips chat in general is causing a lot of issues for people so hopefully RUclips will come out with a solution or a better method haha @@Jeswaan
@@CpawsMusic thanks man I appreciate that! Also I just got a message from botrix they said currently the RUclips api quota they have is not enough for 24 hours a day and they’re waiting RUclips to increase it. They also mentioned that if will time out around 12:00am and restarts at 1:00am!

They aren’t going to ban you for it unless they have a reason to, but if a viewer on other platforms start saying racist or hate messages you can get banned for displaying them.
