@@ThomasBoykin LOL you're so real for saying that Thanks a bunch for this tutorial! I'll be sure to link your tutorial for any friends of mine looking to do similar things.
Great video! I had complaints on my channel about my talking over game-audio, but I also don't want to mute my game so hard you can't hear the game - so this is great! Thanks man!
thank you not just for this video but for every video you made explaining in excruciating detail how everything works and shouod be set up, thank you for the premade eq settings in tdr nova, thank you for being the first person out of dozens of videos watched that actually gave me some results i can feel. I hope the algorithm bumps you up into people's feed because you deserve it. Lastly for any viewers that see this: drop a comment, like the video, sub to this man! he deserves it!! lets boost him where he needs to be! 🤗
Is it possible to have two audio sources for ducking? I’d like to be able to also have it work with my friend’s Discord audio and don’t know if just doing a copy/paste of the compressor for a second ducking source is a recommended way to go about this.
Hey Thomas. How do you monitor your voice real time when you test the filters ? When I try to do this from obs, there's always some latency so I can't really understand what the audience will hear.
I really noticed the noise floor became apparent after you cranked the input gain up with the first compressor. What’s your solution to this other than keeping your levels around -25 - 20db? The vid was quality and will help heaps of people 👊🏼
My solution is don’t worry about noise until it becomes a problem. Embrace the noise! You can learn to control it but you don’t always need to, especially since reducing noise with a plug-in will always degrade the sound quality of the source.
Nice video, Little tips now you can add « studio rack for obs » in vst plugins for people have waves suite. Very nice for mix a bit more your voice but that can maybe use more your cpu !
You been going crazy lately! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Appreciate it
thanks for giving a good explanation as to what the different settings do :) the most helpful demo I've seen
Good! I am setting the exact same setup for my friend streamers often. But with ReaPlugs instead of the OBS one.
Brilliant! Subscribed
Thank you

Copy paste same settings, that's the way I would do it.
@ Ah, so I was right. Thanks!

Yes, there is always latency. You will need to calibrate your brain to accept the latency, and/or record a clip to test it offline

Can you do a video about voice disguise for documentaries?
Yes, that’s a good idea
How can I turn the game up a bit? than you have? but keep the microphone sound the same.
You might want to increase the volume level of the game audio with either gain or a simple compressor
@@ThomasBoykin what do those buttons do? and when do you use which button? How can you set this up properly?
