I try to at least strum each one a couple of times every week. The least played is my Les Paul, I love it and it was my dream guitar but it’s honestly the least comfortable to casually play. Sounds amazing though. Most played electric is my Tele, it’s so smooth, always in tune, feels great. Most played overall is a Taylor acoustic, easy to grab and play and sounds just right. Freaking love that guitar!

Funny story: I was buying “too many” guitars, per my wife, and the cases were taking up closets, etc. I found a used Schecter online and bought a wall hanger... I bought a guitar strap and put pins of all her favorite things on it...
She doesn’t even know what it is nor has any interest but we have something in common now and she loves her aqua blue guitar hanging in her she shed. The strap tells her interests... Since she got one too, (it is literally a rock n roll aesthetic in her room with stuffed animals on it.), I have bought many since with no issue. elfin magic?!! Dunno, don’t care. It worked. I bought it special for her in her style and she’s included. Wacky but whatever! Cheers and Happy New Year guys!! Love the hangouts and topics!

The next one I named after her, so she wouldn't LET me sell it (as if that was going to happen any way...😉). The big surprise was when I said jokingly that I wanted the all rosewood neck sea foam tele. She said no way, but if I got rose gold, she'd buy it for me. Thought she was joking, but she did! The Rickenbacker gets played the least because the narrow nut width makes the neck crowded on the first few frets; all the other electric's are simply more comfortable to play. The good news is that it's a mint Fireglo, and it's really fun to look at:) And it's way too pretty to sell as it will sit right there and remain mint while it gains value. Wow, an interesting question and I've never heard it put this way. I have eight electrics and an acoustic and I keep 'em all ready to grab and play. Various LPs, a couple Squier Mustangs and a vintage Schecter PT. I try to play each regularly, but the one I play least these days is the Schecter. It's great and was my main axe for twenty years but my old hands have a harder time stretching now for some things in the lower registers on the longer neck. So the same would be true for 25.5" Fender types in general and that's really the only reason I don't have any except my Schecter 'Tele clone.' But I play 'em all, just seem to prefer shorter scales now after a life that's been hard on my hands. Once I get to the third position the reaches kinda stop being an issue though. After saying all this I realize my Yamaha acoustic is actually the one that hangs on the wall more than the others. It's nice but it ain't electric. Self-explanatory.

You see the same thing in the vinyl community on a smaller scale. I'm not well informed enough to know if it's overall good or bad for the hobbies. Does it inflate prices to be out of reach of the people that might actually use them or does it help sustain the companies we love and ensure they will be around? Do rising tides lifts all ships?

Instant sentimental value. It sounded amazing, but when I got it home I suddenly noticed all the nicks, dings, and scratches on my other guitars. I became so worried about scratching my new LP that it quickly became a case queen. I even bought a 2nd Les Paul that was used and already had scratches and dings on it. I eventually moved to another house with a spare room I could use as a designated music room. At that point I started playing the Cherry Sunburst regularly, but not nearly as much as the "pre-dinged" one.

Kind of funny, my core custom 24 is hanging on the wall because it is the lowest quality guitar I have ever bought although the most expensive! Volume pot is frozen, the nut had to be redone, tuners friction is all over the place, some real easy, others real hard to turn. Less than 4months old! Minor issues to be sure but 5 grand!

The guitar I usually play the most is… my PRS haha my CE 24 is my main axe, we have a bond, I play my best with it.
My least played is my Les Paul, and I think I will sell it to get another PRS 😅
Yes, they’re the prettiest, but they’re more than just “pretty”, I think. I genuinely believe they’re the best guitars.

Got a stratovarious, a tele and single-cut. The tele gets some attention, but I adore my 3 oddball vintage USA made Guild electrics like they are children. If they don't allow Groovy Guild S-series guitars in heaven, you'll find me playing mine in hell. Right beside the flaming pit of Sulphur where they torture lawyers. 😊

The one guitar that definitely doesn't get played is my acoustic Epiphone guitar. I leave it out for display, but I never pick it up to play or noodle on it. I always go to a case and pull out my Guild D40 or Martin D18 or Fender Am Strats or teles. I always leave the good stuff in the cases and go for them. Definitely more effort, but the tone, playability and quality is definitely something my hands and ears appreciate.

All of my acoustic guitars are regularly played to keep them awake except for two.I do have a Harmony h181 and a Guild 12 string, these have the strings loose because they are over 50 years old. I think I might put fresh stings on the Harmony just for the neck of it. It is solid mahogany and Sitka.
My electric guitars are only played with friends a couple times each month.

I have an Ibanez and two Jackson's that don't get played enough, because they're currently in the bedroom, and I couldn't find space for them in the living room (where my rig is)
Also have a couple BC Riches, and a Samick in the closet, but they need some new parts to get into decent playing condition.
The ones I use the most nowadays are an LTD, a Charvel, and another Jackson.
Also have a Stratocaster in the rack, but it gets played less because of the pickup configuration, and the style of music I play most often.
