I’ll tell you a tale of caution. Old long lost cars can be like old girl friends. You’ve forgotten the bad parts, you dream of the good parts, and it costs you more than you can imagine. But sometimes, just sometimes, it’s a dream come true. I hope this one works out well for you. At least it won’t show with a little go cart and tell you it’s your’s.
Very cool story and reunion. Made me a little nostalgic hearing Red talk about the reunion. Who knows, maybe Greg will be ready to sell the Nova in a few years that he bought from me.
I love that fact that you had a dream and put your heart and soul into building a great company from nothing, exceptional quality and customer service. It's awesome to watch you grow and expand your business without forgetting where you came from, success comes from hard work and dedication. Congratulations.
Wow this brings back memory's for me also.. I had a drag car that looked just like this one.. same color, same notch back, same wheels, but mine had a 347 sbf stroker motor, 69 289 heads with all kinds of wizardry done to the heads, paxton super charger and some nos... I love it good looking stang.
An LS foxbody how original. Chevy’s on the 4 cam engine now and Ford has the 7.3 cam in block. What is the world coming to, lol. Oh ya keep a Chevy a Chevy and a Ford a Ford, no swaps.
Cool to see that you bought back an OG car of yours. Very pretty car too. But since it doesn't have a Ford motor, I'll keep cheering for El Toro. Keep up the great work.
I'm in the process of wiring six RIFE Sensors on my latest Holley EFI install/tune (on a Drag Bike). And the owner of this new bike build just raced his S-10 for the first time with your Operator Series, w/CO2 Assit Billet Shifter👍 Looking forward to seeing you guys at Gainesville Raceway...
I would also put all Maven and ICT billet parts on the car as well to dress it up with some billet parts and switch the timing chain and cover to the new Innovators West timing belt drive so you can adjust the cam a0t the track if you need to get more out of it and it's all billet as well and eventually get a billet rear cover and put a Williams Fab oil pan on it and if you're going to keep it wet sump put an external wet sump oil pump so you can run a mechanical fuel pump and the external wet sump oil drive off of one belt drive off of a pulley on the crankshaft behind the harmonic balancer
I would put all new Brown and Miller plumbing with crimped fittings and I would either put a Holley Hi-Ram or Mid-Ram or even a BTR intake and get rid of the Elderbrock intake and I would put your 102mm throttle body and you need to make a 105mm Hi-Boost throttle body like Wilson Manifold makes and I would put a set either Billet Atomizer or Fuel Tech injectors on it as well and a TurboSmart Wastegates and BOV and stick with a Precision turbo
I love both cars but please do get El Toro some paint or a cool wrap at some point lol. The stickers have gone a bit overboard. Keep up the great work guys. I can't wait to see the sick week coverage!
That's awesome you were able to get your car back, I bet the hole Motion crew are jacked to have the hotrod that pretty much started it all. Can't wait to follow your Sick week adventures, kick some A$$!
The engine that was running in the background 30 seconds into the video right before you switched to the clip of the car had a serious rod knock and it's not going to be long before it locks itself up or worse kicks a rod out the side of the oil pan you might want to get that fixed
Content is content and will always be fun to watch. However it's the few people who try Coyote that they compare a stock long block Coyote(even with ARP hardware and reducing efficiency with lockouts on stock cams) vs a literally stock "block" 5.3, with everything touching it being upgraded.
My fox body doesn't have good rear brakes. Everything is new. I'm going to gut the proportionate valve. Do you know if that will send more fluid to the rear.
Doug I know you're going to put an operator shifter in there.. let me know if you get rid of the one that is in there I'd be interested in it for my budgetish notch ,
This is awesome! El Toro still needs paint 😂
Prob pick up a tenth
@@MotionRaceworksOfficial you need to do a nostalgia motion shirt with that old logo on it
Says the giraffe with a car that has no body 😂
Never!!
So does Ruby 😜
Neat you got this back. I have a few old cars I would like to have back.
Nothing like the feel of a 90s ford interior . The feeling of its break and come apart at any moment
I still have the turbo kit off this car that I bought from you back in the day. It's still holding up. Cool to see this car again!
Awesome!

El Toro will always yearn for Derek. Like Bush Latttes and hangovers, they were just meant for each other.
Great story! That's so awesome!
Thanks for sharing Doug!
Best wishes on Sick Week!
Good morning guys when she looks gorgeous
Thanks Todd!

So happy you got this car back coming back full circle truly a piece of history the start of a dream and a great business MOTION RACEWORKS

The orange car deserves a Godzilla in it.
Awesome video appreciate the look back and see how far you've come
Nice car. I'm a little bummed it's an LS.
An LS foxbody how original. Chevy’s on the 4 cam engine now and Ford has the 7.3 cam in block. What is the world coming to, lol.

Love that color! Awesome!
That’s a nice looking ride there Doug.

This car is NICE! Glad to see you get it back and giving it some love. Remembering where you started helps to show you where you're going.
Looks killer!!
That's an awesome car! Really like that it's a reunion as well. I really appreciated the 8:30 worth of intro before we got to really see the car.

Is a trophy at this point ,NICE WORK wish I had money to buy my ol cars back ,the genuine dream 100%
I love it. Glad you got it back, a piece of history there. Big Fox body guy here.
I love both cars but please do get El Toro some paint or a cool wrap at some point lol. The stickers have gone a bit overboard. Keep up the great work guys. I can't wait to see the sick week coverage!
That is a nice looking car and it's a great story for you and your company. El Toro is still gonna be my favorite because it is Ford powered
That's awesome you were able to get your car back, I bet the hole Motion crew are jacked to have the hotrod that pretty much started it all.
Can't wait to follow your Sick week adventures, kick some A$$!
Heck yeah, Robert! Thanks for the kind comment!
This is so awesome that you got this car back! Congrats 🎉
Looking forward to following the build and Sick week adventure. 👍🏼
Beautiful car. Can't wait to see it on SickWeek.
Love the story behind this car and all the updates. We’re a little over a week out from heading south and racing with y’all at Sick Week!
Tom is right. It’s not a Mustang if it’s not Ford powered. My take on his statement. I’m a powertrain should match the brand of car guy.
No hate there. Totally get that mindset!
EL TORO!!!!!!! Get that rocket going!
Imo, pumpkin needs a supercharged coyote. El toro looks great they way he is. Btw, im a chevy fan boy.
Love the paint wheel combo. Sharp car
Love this car!!!
Red learned about my old use to have vehicle and seen the replacement one day when him and Cody picked up parts from me
Lmao.. needs a built coyote now
Cant wait to see how it turns out!
I love seeing this
Back in the Chicago KOTS days we referred to you as the Iowa guys...
Glad to see you got her back!
haha, that's awesome. thanks man!
The engine that was running in the background 30 seconds into the video right before you switched to the clip of the car had a serious rod knock and it's not going to be long before it locks itself up or worse kicks a rod out the side of the oil pan you might want to get that fixed
Love this had an 88 GT back in the day same color lol can't wait to see it dig pavement .
That's a bad ass color!! Can't wait to see it rip!!!
LS fox im not down with that. if you go yote then ok
But…but…LSs are cHeApEr with thousand dollar Motion valve covers! Coyote or SBF is the way to go, for sure.
I remember this car from the KOTS days. Good times running Jr's and Gangster. Cool to see it again!
Those were the days for sure!
Really cool to get the ol-car back. There is probably 1 or 2 I should hunt down of my old ones ..
Pumpkin Spice!! This car was the bees knees back in the day at Cordova
That's so cool 😎
HELL YEAH BROTHER let's go 💪
This is 🔥 wish I could find my old 85 Cutlass I sold back in 2014
I wish I could get my '81 T-Bird back
Looking forward to seeing more on pumpkin spice.
Pumpkin spice needs a Steve Morris SML completely dressed in Motion parts
I remember Derek VGG driving this guy. Love this car
Nice to get some old toys back to look back!!
wow! - okay, got me but I still liked El Toro as it is. Has character.
Please update El Toro. The stickers were fun, but now we should take it a little more serious. Thanks
Car looks great I have the same wheels on my Foxbody Coupe
It has the classic quad city/Iowa turbo set up with the Edelbrock intake
I would take the coyote all day over the ls
So bad ass!!! Can't wait guys!! 😉👍
Dude I'm a ford hater full on but eltoro is the sh$t 1 of very few fords i like keep up the work ❤️ from Australia 🇦🇺
New colour is sick btw
Check out the video you may be surprised lol
Support
Come with a video on installing the new shifter
I really like the car
El Toro , Rocks……still like the OG ride…
So awesome
Looking good guys 👍👍

id do a Godzilla swap and also swap in some real headlights. pretty sure ive seen that car at Milan Dragway up here in Michigan👍
Yeah this motor isnt going to last long its Ls crap look at Cleetus he's proof these motors are crap! Just cheap crap!!
Did the kids out in Idaho finish the nova?
Don't try coming out here for a month or so
We've had some disgusting weather lately out west.
My fox body doesn't have good rear brakes. Everything is new. I'm going to gut the proportionate valve. Do you know if that will send more fluid to the rear.
Nice car and great color!
Nice car! Still need to paint el Toro though with a fresh coat of black
You got me on this one!
Switch to Air to Water
Is that Parkers Hellcat on the lift?
Yeh they have been developing a brake kit for it
Can we get an update on the XTREME yellow blazer build? It just disappeared for some reason
That’s sick!
Dang all 3 of you down there.
Not going to lie I was a little bummed when you said you painted El Toro.
Beautiful
Never let it go again
Could have sworn El-Toro had a 5.0 motor in it
Haha!
They downgraded BIG TIME!!
Love it different but good looking
The one you want to go faster. Both have the same capability.
Who's going to drive it? And is the nova ready, ect ect.
Doug I know you're going to put an operator shifter in there.. let me know if you get rid of the one that is in there I'd be interested in it for my budgetish notch ,
Didn't El Toro get banged up in the hurricane down at Cleetus shop in Florida?
Nope, that was Bald rEagle!
Me and my son are building a 91 fox with a single turbo Ls maybe you should make me a deal on some of the old parts your pulling off
As much as this one is awesome and looks sweet !
Where are the updates on your nova Doug ?
Should be back from wiring in the next week or so
It needs El Toro's engine.
Did you bring this car up to WIR in Wisconsin, I swear it came to a RSD event?
Sure did
@@MotionRaceworksOfficial That was a sick night, I will have to look back in my archives I am sure I have photos of the car at that event.
Yap yap yap
That was the most satisfying click bait ever! I'm a sucker for El Toro! But to be able to get the OG back is amazing!!!
