    The tuck one-lay one birds are point factories when you can play them in the wetlands or when you have a good card engine. Of these cards, the bushtit is my favorite, due to it playing in any habitat and having a large capacity star nest.

    Only house rule I play with is not losing any actions after each round, we just use a substitute in place. I think this makes the game way better

    My house rule would be every round the starter player will choose end goal Cards

    I like draw and tuck preferably played early and the lay an egg on any bird. I own both expansions as well but haven't used them yet. I was wondering if playing the 2 expansions together with 4+ players, "omitting the base birds", provides a more interactive atmosphere because of the teal and yellow powers. Love your channel

      When we use any or all of the expansions we use all of the cards from the base game as well.

    I do often like the cards like the owls and hawks and the roadrunner that have you draw a card and tuck it if it’s a small bird. If you get one of those early enough you can really pile up the tucked cards.

      Yes, these are the ones Wendy is referring to as the 'good predator' cards.

    What are your thoughts on the birds with the "If this bird is to the right of all other birds move it to a new habitat" power. I seem to get those frequently and always go for it.
    I like tucking birds! I've seen the snow bunting get some ridiculous stacks of points under it, but then again that one is an expansion bird.

    You guys should do a video on everdell strategies. ESP when the new expansions come out

    i have found the "when played, play another bird" birds to VERY rarely worthy of playing. there's so little value and they have so few points to boot. the exception is Great Egret worth 7 points. now the birds that let you get a free "play a bird" action repeatedly are a different story - very powerful, do NOT pass these and play them like Common Moorhen

      We definitely have an expanded list of favorites for the Europe and Oceania expansions.

    Great video guys. Do you play with all the expansions?

    • @ObsessiveGamer
      @ObsessiveGamer  2 года назад +1

      Depends. If it's just the two of us or with the most experienced of our group, yes, we use all of the cards and rules. For newer players, we stick with just the base game.

      @@ObsessiveGamer sounds like a lot of effort to take cards out of the game. I enjoy the Oceania board and the nector, though I took out 2 nector dice.
      Again, great video :)
