    Excellent topic. When we look at the law, we see that we are sinners, then it causes us to look to Christ for forgiveness, which in that moment we are justified and made right. This is Christs Righteousness. Can you do a talk on the Righteousness of Christ?

    Loved this! Eyes on Jesus. He does the work as the Author and Finisher of our faith in Him as we submit to Him in humble obedience to His Holy Word. He presents us faultless before the presence of His glory.

    Can't thank you enough and most of all the Lord. I believe He answered my prayer and I always have doubts about being perfect and I always stumble in little things making me doubt and keeps asking myself this question, until this morning this session came on my feed. You just answered and made it clear with those verses, it is God doing the work which is perfect. I believe my part then is to keep on trusting in Him and be obedient to how He is leading me.

    I think this is where critics make the mistake
    They say our perfection is in christ which is very correct 🙏....but the problem is in tbe explanation of this phrase “perfection in christ".... calvinists like myles will explain this as we being perfect in Him meaning God the father will always see us as perfect in christ without us showing forth fruits of perfection.....
    But thank God the remnant of God believe that our perfection is in christ and christ working in us will produce fruits of perfection and we'll be harvested when the fruits are ripe
    Amen

    Will meat eating keep people out of heaven ?

    • @markbihmsmusic
      @markbihmsmusic 7 дней назад +1

      I know what you are trying to say, but I think a better question would be if meat eating is a test of salvation. I believe the spirit of gluttony is what will keep many out of heaven. The SOP says:
      "The question whether we shall eat butter, meat, or cheese is not to be presented to anyone as a test, but we are to educate and to show the evils of the things that are objectionable. Those who gather up these things and drive them upon others do not know what work they are doing. The Word of God has given tests to His people. The keeping of God's holy law, the Sabbath, is a test, a sign between God and His people throughout their generations forever. Forever this is the burden of the third angel's message-the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
      Tea, coffee, tobacco, and alcohol we must present as sinful indulgences. We cannot place on the same ground meat, eggs, butter, cheese, and such articles placed upon the table. These are not to be borne in front, as the burden of our work. The former, tea, coffee, tobacco, beer, wine, and all spirituous liquors, are not to be taken moderately, but discarded. The poisonous narcotics are not to be treated in the same way as the subject of eggs, butter, and cheese. " 3LtMs, Ms 5, 1881, par. 15 - 3LtMs, Ms 5, 1881, par. 16
      The principle of health is to always aim higher just as we do with our spirituality. It is understandable that if you have limited resources on the healthiest options, you can only revert to what is available or affordable. We are given the ideal by the SOP which is plant-based, however EGW ran into circumstances herself where she occasionally had flesh while traveling: "It has come to be a very serious question whether it is safe to use flesh-food at all in this age of the world. It would be better never to eat meat than to use the flesh of animals that are not healthy. When I could not obtain the food I needed, I have sometimes eaten a little meat; but I am becoming more and more afraid of it CTBH 117.3
      While eating clean meat is not a sin in and of itself, a perverted appetite anda gluttonous spirit is sinful. If all I did was eat a big bucket of chicken every single day that is sinful because the law of temperance is trampled upon and there seems to be no objective for improvement. Even a meat eater who is temperate would take issue with doing that.

      @@markbihmsmusic thank you 😊. I remember when arching an independent ministry and an individual said “don’t lose your salvation because of a chicken leg” and I was like that statement didn’t sit well with me.

      @Javaun_Powell I agree that sounds a little out there. Many have gone to extremes about diet reform and push their own narrative on others. This is why we need to search out these things ourselves and use our senses versus allowing others to dictate what they think we should do. I know it all too well throughout the ranks of conservative "present truth" adventism. I believe alot of that came from my late uncle Stephen Lewis.
